We stayed in Palazzo Nicolo Priuli; excellent room. The only inconvenience was that the refrigerator did not work and, our repeated claims didn't have response. Anyway the hotel is worth to be recommended.

Venice is wonderful by itself, but staying at Casa Nicolò Priuli has been a plus. All the personnel are very kind. Our room was very nice and quiet, and the location of the hotel is perfect, since it is only 10 min to St Marco's square.

Hotel Casa Nicolò Priuli is a 3 different buildings hotel, very close one to each other. But you need to cross a little street for having breakfast, it's a little bit strange. however, the streets are very nice and the distance very little, only 30 or 40 meters.

We booked a delux double, based on the photographs on the website. Our room was not as nice as the photos. When we spoke with the front desk, they immediately checked and gave us another room for the next night. It was the one above our first. Nicer interior. There are lights outside the windows, so one must keep the curtains closed (hence the windows). The hotel is actually a number of renovated houses along the canal. Staff was great!

We were given a very small room with no view in the annex; we had requested a room with a view in the main building. The breakfast room was very small and we had to wait turns to eat and on the second morning, our family of four had to use separate tables in order to eat at the same time. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to be together. The staff was gracious and helpful and once we found the hotel the first time, we had no trouble finding our way around to the city's major landmarks.

This was my 4th visit to Venice and the best hotel I've stayed in yet. I loved the area the hotel was in ~ off the beaten path and very quiet. Yet there was great shopping and good restaurants nearby. The only problem was finding the hotel, because of the way the addresses are, it was difficult to find. The next day, I was able to help 2 other people who also couldn't find the enterance to the hotel. Otherwise, I loved the place and plan to stay there again in March.

This was my second visit to Venice, hotel is in good location and was easy to find which is a plus for Venice! This is a seperate annex to the pretty main hotel, had booked a deluxe canal view but they also gave us a balcony room which would have been lovely except it seemed scarily precarious with large gaps in the wooden slats and creaked a lot when walked on.However the reception did prove very helpful when we wanted to watch world cup final as they booked us into restaurant with huge screen and fabulous food and even provided a guide to get us there as it was really tucked away in a back alley and we would never have found it.Good selection at breakfast with cute courtyard if you can get in,only 2 tables there. All in all had a fabulous time.

We felt misled by the photos and in what part of the hotel we were actually booking, because it stretches into other buildings. We were in a small building with a tiny slow elevator a block away from the main desk. Our phone didn't work and was never fixed despite repeated requests. This deluxe dble room was anything but convenient or worth the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Venice and were very happy with our spacious and comfortable deluxe room at Casa Priuli (other rooms in the Casa looked much smaller than ours). The "canal view" wasn't as lovely as imagined but that's hardly surprising. The location was excellent. Breakfast was served a few doors away in the Palazzo Priuli - a great array that was constantly replenished, the best we had at hotels in Italy. We stayed in November and winter rates made this hotel much better value than other hotels of lesser standard at this time. We found this hotel very easily by following a map we downloaded from another website - I don't think we would have found it using the one on venere.com

The character & quality were beyond our expecttions. The short walk to St. Mark's Square was rich with history, quaint shops and restaurants. The unexpected boat service to the Morano glass factory owned by the hotel family was a bonus. A wonderful place to stay.

The hotel is quite difficult to find, despite the map provided. Our room was not in the main hotel, but in an adjacent building. Lovely old Pallazzo, but the conversion to bedrooms just falls short. Very dim lights in rooms. Clean new bathroom. Breakfast was a scrum - lovely large room, 12 tables squashed at one end.

The only thing, that was not very pleasant was the fact, that our room hardly had any daylight, we would have appreciated if we could have opened the windows! Kind Regards, Rainer

We stayed here in September of 2005 and were VERY happy with our stay. The room was perfect (we stayed in one of their new buildings) and the people were incredibly friendly - they even helped me find a room somewhere else when we decided (last minute) to stay an extra night. The manager even negotiated a lower rate for us with a high end hotel - what service!!! We would definitely stay here again - even over our other 'high end' hotel.

This was a really nice hotel to stay in, in Venice even though a bit pricey. But the service from the staff was brilliant. We wanted to stay another night (a Friday) in the hotel but there were no rooms available. The concierge phoned around other hotels to get us accommodation for the night and obtained for us a penthouse apartment in the Palazzo Contarini for less than half it's normal price!

We had the delux canal view room & loved it. Close to everything, but dont use the web site directions. Instead, get off the water bus at St.Zaccaria instead of San Marco-walk up Calle del Vin-takes you rite to the hotel-just one bridge to go over with your luggage instead of many. We would stay there again.

The room was superb, with a nice view on gondolas and a little canaletto; we have had a little inconvenience at our arrival, because the room we had reserved was not available for one night, so we had had to accept a lower accomodation.

The only problem, an expensive one, is that we needed to change reservations during the trip and couldn't reach the Priuli. No phone company in Italy could find the Priuli: We researched Casa Nicolo Priuli, Hotel Priuli, all to no avail [upon check in we noticed a entry door mat that read, Palazzo Priuli]. Having exhausted all attempts to phone the Priuli, I enlisted the help of our Villa rental company. The native Italian representative worked for two hours to get a phone number for the Priuli, reaching them at approximately 12:15 p.m. I traveled to Siena in the meantime to find an internet spot so that I might contact them. The only means of contact was to book a reservation! On the reservation page there was room for comments which I used to notify them of our need to change reservations. An email response later while in another town stated that we would still incur a fee of 146 Euro because we had missed the 48 hours notice requirement. The Priuli had received notice from the other rental company representaive on our behalf within 15 minutes of the Priuli's noon deadline! It was interesting to note that only when we complained about not being able to contact them by phone that they began putting their phone number on the emails they sent. There was no number to be found elsewhere. We and our friends stayed one night and as noted it was excellent.
