It is far from the center of Trapani but close to its airport. It is recommended to have a car because the nearest shop is quite far by foot. The swimming pool is perfect and the staff very welcoming.

Having visited Trapani with my wife three times so far and having stayed at the Casa Trapanese twice, we have to say that the hotel ticks all the right boxes and we would heartily recommend a stay in this establishment. The staff( in particular Alessio) are very helpful and will do everything to enhance the quality of your experience. The rooms/apartments are clean, spacious and well appointed. Situated on the edge of the old town, the hotel is ideally placed for almost everything of interest to the tourist in both the old and new sectors. Bearing in mind that Trapani is not yet a fully fledged resort, there are quite a few bars, cafés, and restaurants within several minutes walk and many, many, more in the old and new town respectively. One of my favourites is Nuovo Chalet situated near the tourist port at the bottom of Via Torreasa 14/16. Speak to Irene and tell them Ian sent you. For superb coffees and the best pastries (served in a beautiful atmosphere and at surprisingly reasonable prices), we suggest "Cafe del corso" on the Corso Vittorio Emmanuele. The train station is conveniently situated close by and is handy for trips in the locality such as Marsala (the trains are magnificent by the way and check out the gardens). We have been warned however that a trip to Palermo is better undertaken by bus ( as the journey by train takes over twice as long.) Buses leave from various points around town and depending on your trip it may be an idea to check at the hotel /tourist information. It may also be worth enquiring about the Trapani Card which entitles you to transport around the town and discounts in various museums and other establishments. Also included is a return trip by cablecar to Erice. Erice is a world heritage site situated on a hill behind Trapani. It is an unspoilt medieval village in a magnificent setting ,affording spectacular views of the area. Definitely worth half a day. Although Trapani possesses several adequate town beaches, connoisseurs

Large rooms in a quit location but in the center of the city. Free parking is near enough. Really enjoyable breakfast. One suggestion: placing wifi in the rooms might be an improvement.

We didn´t expect much after reading the reviews quickly. But we had to find a place for the same day, so we booked Casa Trapanese because of the price. When we arrived we were very surprised by the location - everything was perfect! The two rooms we stayed in (we came back at the end of our trip) were perfectly clean and very nice. The breakfast is not bad, and you can have such a variety of coffee made by one click on the coffee machine, I never had before (and after) in a B&B. The stuff was really friendly, they helped us so much and printed train timetables and everything we needed. So - completely recommendable...

IMPORTANT FEEDBACK TO VENERE.COM ON HOTEL VISIT IN TRAPANI IN SICILY. Thank you for asking for feedback on the hotel facilities. We stayed at the hotel for two days. The young lady on day reception and the young man on night reception were most helpful and friendly at all times and they worked hard to try and premote a poor hotel.. The dining area was too small for the number of guests and the food was of a very low standard. UHT milk, the cheapest of cerials, no facilities for toast, cake for breakfast, low grade orange concentrate, but the fresh fruit was enjoyable! The internet only worked in the very small dining area and this resulted in the seats being blocked by the wifi users who had already had breakfast! Also every day the code was changed on the wifi which just added to the poor penny pinching arrangement! Our room vaw very comfertable and there were plenty of clean towels and cotton sheets on the bed. The bed was two singles put together and the gap kept widening during the night! Only one of the heaters was working. No facilities for making a hot drink. Fridge working. In summmary a high price for low grade hotel when compared with any other country in Europe. I must say that the hotel called us a couple of days before our arrival and they told us we should be moved to another facility of theirs which was always in the historical center: the one in San Francesco Assisi road. Anyway, it's been a very nice stay in Trapani at Trapanese CASA.Staff and location are excellent.

Hotel Casa Trapanese is ideally situated in the old town of Trapani. We stayed in the apartment nearby, rather than a hotel room and it proved a very good choice.

I find it hard to believe that this was the same place described so glowingly by other travellers. In many years of booking with Venere in Italy this was our most disappointing experience to date. The place was utterly without charm, our "apartment" was down a rather grubby alleyway and to get to it we had to climb very dangerous stairs, the two young men in reception were unhelpful and uninterested, the free wifi was available only in the braekfast room etc etc etc. Not an enjoyable stay.

Overall, very good and just what I expected. The room (apartment)was large, clean and had a very good shower. There are cooking facilities and a fridge if you need them. The free trip to Erice organised by the hotel was really worthwhile. Part of the deal is that they take you for free but you have to have lunch at the Fronterarossa restaurant.Being a sceptic I thought it would be a rip off but I was wrong. The restaurant was wonderful, the food excellant and the wine reasonable (4 euros for 500cl). The hotel also organise transfers to the airport at a very reasonable price. Furthermore, when I tried to give the driver a tip he would not take it. He said he only hoped we had had a good stay and that we would come back to Sicily some day. How good is that!! With Casa Trapanese you get what you pay for and a bit more!

One of the more expensive places I stayed in Sicily. The unit we stayed in was not at the main reception area - those rooms looked a bit lighter and with some airflow. We were in a little place with impossibly cramped kitchen (not that we needed it, but if you'd intended using it you would have thought twice). I think it was the only room available for the dates. Our room was stuffy and airless and had no phone reception for mobile (not unusual in old buildings), hence our own usb internet thing did not work unless we went to a public place with laptop. Seriously, I think the main building near reception would be better light and air wise, but don't take this stuffy unit down the lane from the main building if you can find somewhere else. Do go to Ai Lumi Tavernetta in old town for the seafood cous cous!!! Delicious. A culinary bliss point for my month in Sicily.

A great, cheap option for your stay in Trapani. It was clean, comfortable and well-placed in the old town with a simple but pleasant breakfast in an enclosed courtyard. If you're looking for 5 star comfort it's not for you but if you want a decent base to explore this fascinating part of the world then it's well worth a go.

The apartment was clean, spacious and very well equipped. The breakfast was great, fresh croissants, freshly squeezed fruit juice and lovely coffee. The only negative about our stay, was that there was construction work close to our apartment and there was some noise during the day. Otherwise everything was perfect. Great value for money.

I don't bother with reviewing hotels generally but this hotel so impressed me that I felt compelled to complement them publically. It is a new establishment and I wish them every success as they certainly deserve it. The room, the breakfast and the people we dealt with made our stay very enjoyable.

What a wonderful bed & breakfast/hotel this is. We had a long delay on our flight into Trapani, and to end up in this hotel was just what we needed. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean. The center of town is about a 3 minute walk through some really beautiful historic narrow streets. The breakfast was excellent, and you can sit outside in the interior courtyard, and enjoy the Sicilian Sun. Molto Grazie
