Inn Rooms & Apartments Matkovic - Split

Out flight was delayed and we had no way to contact the owners. They figured that out and were looking for us. We had some trouble finding the place so it was wonderful that they found us on the street close to the apartments. They were exactly as advertised - very nice and great location. They might be a bit overpriced for the area - we really don't know, but we were happy with the accomodations. This would be a great place to stay if you are there for more than one night. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of having a kitchen.

The hosts were attentive and very helpful. Staying at a hotel where there is no one on the premises after the early afternoon can be problematic. The room and all that was involved with it was fine, clean and roomy. The towels were not suitable for real sized people, one per person smaller than a hand towel. It is a good location in the Old City. You should know in advance that it could be noisy because there is a park across the way from some of the rooms. I was there when there was a very loud band playing to accompany a skateboarding event (fun to see if you like that). Anything I gave a zero to was not because of zero quality it was that I didn't know the answer which there was no option for on the survey.

A really lovely appartment right beside the city walls in the very center of the town. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Air conditioned, free internet, a spacious bathroom... what else can I wish?

It is very clean, cosy and comfortable place. Owners are very friendly. It was dark when we arrived and they met us near hotel to help us find the way. Rooms are excellent and they're placed in the center of the old town.

The management emailed us a week before our stay with very helpful directions to their guesthouse. The staff was very helpful in providing ferry information. Very centrally located for bus and ferry transportation. Very satisfied with our accomodations.

The Room was very clean and pretty. We had fresh towels and a spacious and freshly renovated room/Bathroom! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice people! The rooms are located at a perfect spot! right at the outer wall of the Diocletian Palace. 1 Minute to the center of the Diocletian Palace, 1 Minute to the next food place and market and only 5 Minutes to the harbour! To the Bus Station and the City beach it is about 10 Minutes to walk. It was a perfect stay in Split!

We had some trouble finding the apartment (the map marker on the website didn't seem to match up with location) but after a phone call we were met by the friendly owners and taken to it. Clean and good basic accommodation well located (right outside the walls of the Diocletian Palace) and within easy walk from the bus/ferry/rail terminals. Good value for money.
