Hotel Grotta di Tiberio - Sperlonga

The staff was very friendly, and it's a nice place for a beach vacation. Although the space of the double room is very small. The breakfast buffet is very good and it is really nice in the morning. For dinner we would recommand other restaurants. The first day there was a problem with the cleanliness, which was solved directly. Not much to do on rainy days.

Very peaceful hotel in a quet area. A bit far from the town certre but reachable by walk or shuttle bus. Would have hoped more restaurant choices nearby. Very nice pool area with helpful staff. Lovely and peaceful garden.

The hotel is situated in a very beautiful, green area, the best I ever seen in Italy. Very close to the clean beach and the old town, the most romantic place ever. YOU MUST SEE IT. The old town of Sperlonga is exactly what I have always imagined as a romantic Italy. Not to mention about delicious food I had in a beautiful restaurant called Degli Arqi or something like that, sorry.

Very small rooms, but everything spotlessly clean and neat. Not really built for use in the winter; definitely a summer place, when I'm sure it is beautiful! Would definitely return here.

Staff was very friendly but a little bit stiffy. They need to be more relaxed. Restaurant price/quality relationship is not very good. Restaurant staff is quite inflexible.

The Hotel was first class with very helpful and friendly staff. The cleanliness of rooms and public areas were outstanding. You must visit the old town of Sperlonga with outstanding views bars and restaurants. The beaches are beautiful with clear blue waters. Recommendations possible tea/coffee making facilities in room. Returning to Hotel in the evening could benefit from a larger more comfortable bar/lounge area where guests could socialise.

Fabulous hotel and location. Excellent meals at the hotel's restaurant. Beautiful beach. Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation.

The fact we were alone in the hotel played a part in our satisfaction but, notwithstanding, this is an excellent hotel with a highly curtuous staff in a magnificient surrounding. As far as landmarks are concerned, this location is in the middle of what is referred to as " Ulysse's Riviera": I think that says it all.

Excellent hotel. Excellent cuisine in the hotel. Nice place. Friendly staff. We noticed only one disadvantage – the distance between the hotel and sea – direct way about 250 meters but real distance by the pedestrian road is about 700 meters.

Our only regret was not having had more time to spend there, part of a tour covering France, Switzerland and Italy, 9 hotels, most of which were 4star - Grotta di Tiberio was by far the best

The map was completely wrong, we found the hotel through the address and our own knowledge of the area. Photographs did not do the hotel justice.
