Inn Palazzo Abagnale - Sorrento

Only complaint is the lack of proper shower facility in bathroom.....impossible to use without soaking the entire bathroom floor....need to be able to place the shower nozzle above to use "hands free"...other than that....room was quite comfortable. Small balcony looked out onto the main street...which was nice, but noisy if you want the window open at night. For the price, and a short stay, I would return.

My stay in Sorrento was only one night. Besides, following morning I had to leave there very eary (about 05:50). So I wanted to stay the hotel closed to the train station. Looking at the map of the hotel, I'd chosen this one.Though the reception was located in the center of the town (just next to Plazza Tasso), my room was far away from there. One of the staffs took me to my romm. It took about 20min. on foot. My room was located very lonely place and after dark I had difficulty to find it by myself. And the staff said me that Japanese was very rich and etc, so I was a little scared walking with this first-meeting man.The design of room was good although it was narrow. But there's no refrigerator for this price. The staff had forgetton to tell me the airconditioner was broken. Anyway I wonder why this hotel is supposed to be located in the center, Actually my room was in the remote place.

This hotel was very fun to us. Its always clean, and super trendy. The location is excellent. Our only downer was the fact that you can hear alot of noise from your room, walls are not that thick. I would recommend it and the staff was very welcoming and helpfull!

We stayed on the black and white floor, with a room that faced the back of the building. The room was gorgeous! The bed was firm and comfortable, the bathroom was very big and the room was quiet as it didn't face the street. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful - they even booked a table in advance for us at a wonderful restaurant that they had recommended for Valentine's night. The location was unbeatable - a few minutes walk from the Circumvesuviana and bus stops, and a few minutes in the other direction to the centre of town. The only very slight complaint was that the shower above the bath was a hand held one with no shower screen or curtain and we managed to get water all over the bathroom floor when we showered - but maybe we're just clumsy! This B and B is excellent value for money and has lots of extras (like free computer access, safe and fridge in the room, decent breakfast) that makes it more like a hotel than a B and B, but at a lower price!
