This was an excellent hotel to stay in for a visit to Siracusa. It's a quick 10-15 minute walk to Ortigya and a 20 minute walk to the Parc Archaeological to see the Greek ruins. And it's only a two minute walk to the train station. It's an old hotel that's been renovated while still maintaining the heritage feel. Although it's on a noisy street, when the heavy shutters are closed over the two sets of glass doors, the room is completely quiet and dark. The bed was very comfortable and the linens clean and fresh. The breakfast was a great surprise with fresh fruit, cereal, ham and cheese and a great selection of croissants and breads. It was served in a bright cheery room with indoor or outdoor seating on a rooftop patio. The staff was very helpful in providing directions and a map. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again when we visit Siracusa.

Just a basic hotel. Nice roof terrace for breakfast. Close to the station. Far from Ortegia. Some of the staff were unhelpful. I had to ask repeatedly if they could hold my bags after check out as I had a night train and there is no place to leave bags at the station. NB: Nothing to do with the hotel, but the Greek theater is a disappointment. Most of it was covered in wood planking and seating to stage modern place.

Room very dark but otherwise comfortable. They say they are "brand new" in which case odd that hairdryer and tap in bathroom not working properly - but they did fix v quickly when we pointed this out. NB "free parking" means parking in street outside (although signage indicates that it's not free parking we didn't get a ticket so assume they must have some kind of agreement in place). Location good - 10 minutes wlk from Ortygia and v close to train station and to routes out of town to beaches down the coast and Pantalica. Quite a busy street at night though. Overall OK hotel, however nothing to write home about. Overall

This hotel is very convenient for the station and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Ortigia. The room was lovely with a high roof with beams and it was painted a bright blue which really worked. It was a very relaxing room to be in. Breakfast is on a nice roof terrace. The road outside is quite busy but noise wasn't a problem as it was so hot while I was there that I needed the double glazing shut and the air-conditioning on all night!

The hotel is situated between the 2 main tourist sights in Siracusa. A lot of things were closed when I went and there were no restaurants close by and a bit far to walk in heavy rain. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was good.

It was pretty good, but I expected more for the price. The beds were quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was good and it was nice to have free parking. One other downside was that the boy woking the desk during the day wasn't able to help me at all find an internet point or an address I needed to find.

The hotel was located fairly close to the old town so it was a conveniently located to all the things we wanted to see in Syracusa. The hotel staff was helpful and provided wifi in the hotel lobby only. The Wifi connection was rather challenging to get to work but the hotel manager was great about providing assistance. The only bad thing was the hotel staff took their smoke breaks in the entry way of the hotel - leaving the doors open so they could hear the phone - which of course allowed the smoke to waft up the stairwell into our room. We had to cover the lower edge of our door with the bathmat to combat the smoke. Also, we read reviews that the hotel was very quiet. We heard a lot of traffic noise during the night, even though we requested a quiet room. In addition, there was no elevator.

This hotel is very near the train station and the bus stops. Although it is on a busy street, the room was very quiet. It is a short walk to Siracusa old town. Everyone who works in the hotel is very friendly and very helpful.
