Inn Residenza San Domenico - Siena

B&B has a perfect possition - not far from Autobus Station and 10 minutes walking distance from Piaza del Campo. The building is beautiful acient "palazzo". Room is spacious, clean and quiet. The area is beautiful, full of small shops, cafe and restorants. The view from B&B is probably the most splendid in the city! The staff are very kind and helpful!

No lift ... and the hotel is not near to the Duomo, as said on the site (you can see the Duomo, but walk there is long); you are near of Piazza del Campo

A lot of money was put into the revitalization of our room at some point, but unfortunately no understanding of space/function was present. Biggest problem was that the owner, who had a poor grasp of English, (not a condemnation) did not live at the building. So when an electrical breaker tripped at 10:30 at night, we couldn't really contact the owner because of difficulty in reaching her by phone. Our supply of nasty processed foods for our breakfasts ran out 1/2 way through the second morning; nothing was ever replenished. There was never enough hot water for even one shower. The young woman who dealt with us was kind enough, but it seemed neither her head or heart was in the business. We recieved incredible amounts of help from the lovely young girls who ran the hotel down at the corner, where we really, really wished we had stayed.
