The stay was wonderful. The location is perfect for exploring Florence, Sienna, and other places in Tuscany. We drove to Scandicci and took the Tramzini in to Florence. Our hostess was very nice and offered us lots of great travel ideas. We will return here next time we want to stay in Tuscany.

Isabella y Paolo han rehabilitado esta casa con gran encanto, mezclando nuevos materiales con un aire rústico. Nos costó un poco encontrar la casa por no tener un cartel a público. Puedes dejar el coche a pocos kms y tomar el autobus hasta Florencia (10 min.). Todo estaba equipado, limpio, ordenado y precioso, con mil detalles lindos que mirar. El desayuno se sirve en el jardín si hace buen tiempo, aunque en la cocina puedes prepararte lo que quieras. Incluso puedes poner una lavadora por 5€. Isabella es una anfitriona estupenda, gran conversadora, puede aconsejarte a cerca de las rutas y hasta organizó una cena con los huespedes de la otra habitación. Una opción estupenda como base en tu a viaje a la Toscana. Muy recomendable.

We were a family of four and stayed in the quad bedroom and so value for money was excellent. the decor is very different and gives lots of character to your stay in Tuscany. Isabella was very welcoming and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. |We all loved her tea cake. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the kitchen area fantastic. We drove to the train station and then trained into town but felt confident that our car was safe in Scandicci. This was one of our children's favourite stays due to Isabella warmth. The shower cubicle was tiny but nice and hot.We felt that we incorporated a country stay with a city stay.We would definitely go back. Wahing machine also fantastic!

DOUBLE BEDROOMThe general look of this room is very attractive and pretty unconventional by mixing old fashion and modern style. This is a very charming master's bedroom for two people sleeping into a extremely comfortable standard queen size bed.. Private bathroom is directly accessible from the room. From the window the typical Tuscany country-side can be seen as far the eye can go. In some parts of the walls bricks and stones of the old peasant's house masonry can be seen; the room ceiling is made in the traditional way by using old bricks and woodden beams.
MULTIPLE BEDROOM
The main flavour of this accomodation is the almost unique feeling concerning contemporary shapes and traditional materials as the look about this space is pretty unusual and unconventional.
This is a very charming room for sleeping of four people into very comfortable standard single beds. The space into this accommodation is extremely large, particularly to host children and teenagers into a full separate space; private bathroom is directly accessible from the room. In some parts of the walls bricks and stones of the old peasant's house masonry can be seen; the room ceiling is made in the traditional way by using old bricks and wooden beams.

By carOn motorway A1/ Autostrada del Sole driving from Milano to Roma stop at Firenze-Scandicci barrier. Step into freeway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno and take exit at Ginestra Fiorentina. Step to the village of San Vincenzo a Torri and overcross it. Follow signs to Scandicci and drive to via Canto alle Gracchie. After 1.5 km ca. on your right hand you will reach the b&b "casadichianti”.
