A very nice stay! Clean, attractive facilities, good Internet, safe, well located, and fairly quiet. Not an ideal place to meet new people (i.e. definitely a hotel not a hostel), but for any other traveling purposes it was superb. I'd definitely stay again!

Hostel Magallanes is a good place to stay during a short visit in Santander: is located downtown, less than 10 minutes from the bus and train station and close the city council, the cathedral,the port and the main street. There are bus stops just 3 minutes walking. The staff is nice and helpful, there is free Wi-fi, the room is really clean and comfortable, with TV, heating, hot water, and clean towels every day. Near the hostel there are good places to eat, like La churreria, Café La Oficina y Cafe El Mercado.

We cannot fault the room,service,location or helpfulness of the staff. We would definitely stay here again.

It's a good choice expecially for the good ratio quality/price. I would suggest to everybody to reserve a room in this pension to spend some days in Santander.

Very clean, but DONT take your laptop with you as they DONT offer the wireless connection as stated.
