Inn La Locanda di Colombo - Santa Margherita Ligure

This was a delightful hotel in which to stay. Raffaella was most welcoming, spoke reasonable English, gave us exact instructions and train timetables to be able to reach the hotel. The croissants that Raffaella baked each morning were the tastiest and lightest I have ever eaten. She is a very hard working hotelier with a young family to cater to as well. Highly recommended.

This location was particularly beautiful and we saw a lot of beautiful places. The owner was so great she was right there to welcome us check us in and get us to our room. We were close to the beach and the walk way along the water. We did not have a view at the hotel but they made up for it with a lovely room and many restaurants nearby. We would have loved to stay longer. I would recommend this hotel. It was reasonably priced close enough to the railway and water to make it convenient. The people running the hotel are so great. She packed us such a good breakfast to take on the train since we were leaving early. If you go stay longer than one night.

I was travelling with friends. Our stay was excellent and our hosts were extremely kind. They give all kind of information (including results of Barça futbol match results!) Breakfast very good.

An outstanding small hotel with well appointed rooms. Nice touches with the air conditioning unit disguised as a painting and automated shutters. Raphaella and her family were delightful hosts! The restaurant was lovely and the wine list staggering! Parking is something of a challenge due to the limited availability on the street. However, the walk through the streets to a public parking area was not an unpleasant experience.

Finding a parking place was a nightmare!! Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

They were very accomodating and helpful. The best customer service during our entire 2 week stay in Italy. The owner is lovely and wants to do whatever it takes to make you happy! Love the personal breakfast in the mornging( order the night before from a selction) and its waiting on a table in their adorable outdoor cafe right on time. The rooms were mod and cool! Quite spacious for european rooms. Location is right near the bustling Santa Margarhita piazza and not far from beach- more of a boutique/city hotel. Only negatives, at entry into the hotel, the first thing you run into is their welcom office ("lobby"). and it is really messy and cluttered - and they were all working when we arrived It made me kinda makes you feel awkward and like I shouldnt have been there. Not the best first impression- but it got better after that.

This bed and breakfast in Santa Margherita Ligure (SML) is modern and stylish. The double shower and spacious bathroom were a real treat. Raffaella was a warm and helpful host - she prepared wonderful breakfasts in the morning! I would definitely recommend anyone visiting the Cinque Terre region to stay in this bed and breakfast in SML.

The room we stayed in was really high class. Top of the range fittings and designer decor. Fantastic double shower. Air conditioning unit disguised as a painting. Very welcoming host, and a great breakfast. Highly recommended, and good value for the high quality product

Disregard the 1 star rating for this B&B. It really was a fabulous place to stay. Located only about 150m from the beach, this little B&B was very comfortable. Massimiliano & Raffaella made us feel very welcome on arrival. We checked into the Nera room up the back of the building which was especially quiet. The photos make the room look quite small, but we found it to be more than adequate. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and of excellent quality. We'll definitely be back. Make sure you have dinner one evening at the Restaurant. One of the best meals whilst in Italy!
