Excellent welcoming, nice reception and owners, near to everything, parking on 150 meters, restaurants and pubs nearby. Absolute recommendation for someone who wants a triple or quadruple room.

This is a family-run hotel, and the owners take great care in making your stay a pleasant one. Marianne was helpful in arranging our tickets to the Mozart Concert at the Fortress and our Sound of Music tour. The hotel is within walking distance of the Old Town and the Mirabell Gardens. It is clean and comfortable. It has old world charm but with modern conveniences. Important for me was the fact that it had an elevator. Great place to stay in Salzburg.

Sylvia was very helpful in every way. She even offered to wrap a present on Christmas Eve for my daughter using her own supplies! While the neighborhood is nothing special, the pension is located only 4 - 6 blocks from everything we wanted to access (Christmas Market, cathedrals, Mozart dinner concert...) We were disappointed that Sylvia's Italian husband was not there, since we had been practicing our "Buon giorno," as recommended by Rick Steves!

Very friendly local hotel. Tourism guides are available at the front desk and can be borrowed anytime. Staff is helpfull suggesting places to go, restaurants and shows. We found our beds to be a little hard. Excellent location if you want to be in the middle of the action.

Friendly welcome. Noisy street at night. Owners reluctant to accept credit cards. There is an advice at the lift kindly asking guests to pay cash. However at our departure our VISA card was accepted. Hotel is beautifully located and we would not mind coming back.

The staff were very nice and helpful. We got there at 8:00 AM and they checked us in right away. We had a quad room which was very good sized and clean (The towels were somewhat thin). The breakfast was good but be sure to get there not too late. Otherwise some of the good stuff would be gone. The location was excellent (walking distance to everywhere).

We chose this hotel because of its location. Near enough to walk to the train station and close to the old part of Salzburg. The owners were helpful and treated us well. One night our street-facing room had much noise from revelers well into the morning. That was a Saturday. On the following night, it was quiet. This is a good, basic pension that we would book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trumer-Stube. The location is fantastic and the staff delightful and helpful. Our rating for quietness of rooms reflects the fact that we were there at New Year, so expected to hear more noise than usual, but it didn't stop us sleeping. Our few drawbacks were no hair dryer provided, or in room tea/coffee.

We are a couple in our mid thirties, and stayed at Trumer Strube for 3 nights. We were disappointed overall with value for money. It was the middle of winter, and the heating wasn't switched on. I overheard another guest was complaining about her room being cold, to which she was told "we do not keep the rooms at 30 degrees", to which I interjected and said that our room is cold as well, and clearly not even 20 degrees. The breakfast is highly over priced, for 8 euro each there is little selection, and the breakfast room is very claustrophobic and over crowded. Our room was very basic. Shower had no pressure. For 90 EURo per night we would have expected maybe a kettle and couple of teabags. Based on this we would not recommend staying here.

A lovely hotel, great location, staff very helpful, a wonderful bistro breakfast to the music of Mozart, rooms are a little dated but they are very comfortable and clean. The owners organised everything requested. The only thing is the map of directions from the station was a bit confusing. Hotel Trumer-Stube met our standards and we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is well located short walk from the central tourist district of Salzburg, and near restaurants and shops. parking is not available near the hotel, so all luggage needs to be dropped at the hotel entrance on arrival and then the car parked about half a kilometre away in a public carpark. We did find the street noise carried into the front room we had, especially when patrons of the neighbouring nightclubs were leaving. Very friendly and caring staff, we have even had a christmas card from them since our stay.

Family room. The breakfast quality and quantity was very poor. Also Mr. Giovanni was very arrogant and inefficient. His attitudes are very poor and not in line to manage the breakfast in one hotel.

Silvia and Giovanni are wonderful people and go out their way to make visitors feel welcome. The breakfast is good and rooms clean. The location of the Pension is great and transport and attractions nearby. Overall a great holiday, we wish we had more days to spend in Salzburg and the Pension. We will certainly be back.
