Location is amazing at 10 minutes walk from the Vatican. Getting there was easy by the subway from the train station. The room was big. The sheets have not been changed and we have stayed there for three nights (the only negative point).

The shower stall was too small even for us, slight Asians and the water does not flow down the drain properly so you have to stop showering intermittently or risk flooding the toilet. One main grouse was that we were not informed of the clock change that took place at 2 am on Sunday 25 Mar which caused us to miss our train to Florence later in the morning for which tickets have been booked and paid for. When we reached our hotel in Florence, we saw notices in the hotel lobby informing guests of the change. This is pretty lacking in customer service especially for Asians, we are not accustomed to clock changes. As for services provided, how can shuttle service be listed as a service if you have to pay for it? Location is quite ideal only because it is within walking distance to a subway station. However, it is quite difficult to locate the apartment as it is not a hotel nor an inn as the name suggests but only an apartment therefore there is no signage unless someone is there to meet you. The name sounds grander than it actually is.

Nice clean room for family of four. Kids 7 & 9. Easy to get to the Metro but you could also easy walk to St Pieter or Castel St Angelo. Not very many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Small fridge in the room. And hairdryer :-) * We can't respond to all questions in the form as we have no knowledge of those. Indicated 5 on them.

The self catering accommodation was clean and well equipped, the Proprietor was friendly giving us a street map showing and showing us the main attractions in Rome also with some of the shopping areas marked and advice about transport and tickets. Although not a 24 hour reception we did not arrive until after 19.00 hours and there was no problems. Very close to the Vatican city with plenty of restaurants and shops around. Very easy to find from the Metro. We were very happy with the accommodation and welcome.

The Vatican Suites was a terrific find. The value of the room was fantastic in one of the most expensive cities in the world. We had a 4 person suite for 120 euro per night and another 2 person suite for 80 euro per night. The only real complaint I have is the same complaint most people have...it was a little hard to find. It isn't marked on the outside at all, you just have to find the place from the address then find David's name on the buzzer. Then finding it on the second floor because it is in the back. Other than that, zero complaints at all. Very convienent located right by the metro stop and 10 min walk to the Vatican. I would easily recommend to all of my friends and family who are traveling to Rome.

Rome is generally very expensive for accommodation but this place is good value for money. We had a 4 bed suite which comprised of a single, a double and a single sofa bed. The room's air con and TV signal were not working which meant we had to keep the windows open at night. It was very very loud! Romans love using their car horns, haha! The bathroom had only a shower and no bath but there were plenty of towels provided and the water was always hot. The kitchen was cleaned daily and the apartments are nice and close to many transport links. I would recommend!

Good place to stay. Cafe (breakfast) at the opposite of the street. Shops and restaurants in the vincinity. Town Centre and Vatican at walking distance (keeps you fit). Public transport at hand. Airport pick-up was great and on time. Transport to airport can also be arranged. We will come back when visiting Rome again.

Excellent services and rooms, great positioning of the suites - right next to the Vatican, practically you can reach all the main attractions in Rome if you stay here (it's OK by foot - just a few steps away from the most interesting areas in Rome and also next to the subway if you don't like walking). All my best to Fiorella, who manages the rooms :) You will never meet a nicer person, she should be hired as a guide also :) - Thank you for all your help! We will surely return very soon, I personally don't need to find any other location where to stay in Rome - Vatican Suites are the best.

this was a great place to stay in Rome. It was very close to the subway, maybe too far away from downtown if you like walking but we really enjoyed it. The water pump? was a bit loud but other than that there was not much noise unless you open the windows which keep out almost all street noise. We had a double room with bathroom included and it felt like we had our own apartment in Rome for 3 days (minus kitchen and living room of course) but who needs that if you are out exploring all day =) We found a great gelato place closeby on the corner of Viale Giulio Cesare and Via Otranto.

We (3 adults) lived in the Quadruple, what was spacious enough. In addition to the fridge and the water boiler a bit tableware is available. TV with mostly italian channels, only one in english. No problems to find the place. Welcoming without any problems. Excellent communication in advance by e-mail. Excellent location (next to Metro Ottaviano, S. Pietro and Vatican). Only one thing: the toilet flushing is very noisy and you hear it in the room. By contrast the room itself with closed windows is nearly quiet.

The room was very good: quite, clean, air conditioned, with fridge and kettle, and only 5 min walk from the Vatican and metro, but when we came we found the notice from manager to call her. After we bought the phone card, found a public phone and call the manager, she came in 20 min. She gave us keys, asked about the rest of money in cash and we never see her again. The key we left in the table.

It was my time to Rome, didn't fully grasp how expensive lodging is in Rome. Vantican Suite is located very close to Vantican, right outside of the Metro station, am fairly satisfied with the location. It's not a "hotel", it is a two bed room apartment in a aged building. The lady caretaker speaks no English, but did try to help by having someone translate between her and us. Room is clean but tiny. If you are looking for a place to crash at night at a cheap price, without much need for anything beyond basics, this is a good choice.

Very nice and clean place, close to the Vatican/St. Pietro. Easy walk to the City Center. We had a room next to a busy street, but this was not a problem due to very good isolation. The only disadvantage is that the walls between the rooms are a bit thin. I would recommend this place as a base to discover the city of Rome

Overall, this was a nice place to stay. It is so close to the Metro it is easy to get to from the Train Station. After that it is only about two blocks away. Very close to the Vatican and not too far walking distance to everything else. The Vespa's were very noisy at night but the day we left they installed sound proof windows. We could not get the air conditioning to work though so we wanted the windows open at night. I'm glad we chose this area to stay in. The only bad part was that there is no door man. We had lost our luggage on our flight and so we had to be there when the luggage arrived since there was no one else to receive it.

In total 1 double and 2 single beds in the room. Very spacious accomodation for 2 people but imagine it could get a bit cramped for a whole family. Price very good for high quality of residence and a fantastic location close to St Peters and only 200m from the underground station. Good air conditioning which was needed in 37 degree heat. Much better value than some of the more centrally located apartments and the underground provides quick links to most of the sites. Only problem was the noise - in Rome rubbish seems to be picked up between 11pm and 2am every night!! Not exactly the fault of the Vatican Suites however which overall was a very pleasant place to stay.

Having a kitchen is great for budget travelers. The contact person was efficient and professional, but his mother who met us was brusque, rather than welcoming. A better map would have saved being called by the contact and his mother repeatedly when we were a few minutes late. The 25% deposit at reservation + cash on arrival policy is annoying, but clearly stated. The 9:30am check-out was not stated before arrival and would have affected my choice. Having pillow cases for all the pillows would have been nice. But the place was clean and convenient. I would look further for similar accommodations, but finding none, would take it again.

The place was OK. I thought for one room with 1 double and 2 single it was expensive. The room was sparsley furnished, no TV although it did have tea/coffee facilities. Never got much of a help from the owners on arrival apart from the very efficient payment process. The comment of not paying until you leave is not correct for this place. You have to pay 25% up from by credit card and the remainder when you get there in cash. In the end it's ok, very near the Vatican and within reasonable walking distance of most places. Metro was 3 mins away which was handy.

This was, generally, a nice room - large and comfortable. Minorissues - the bedside lamp didn't work, hot water was not always possible in the shower (seemed a function of variable pressure and bad plumbing, and it would have been nice not to have to unplug the fridge to use the kettle. The people were friendly, the price was right, and the location was convenient, though.

The accommodations were perfect for the price and location. I was traveling with a female friend and we arrived relatively on-time. I ran into a little complication with the ATMs in the airport but our driver, which was scheduled through the Vatican Suites, was more than helpful and very friendly. On arriving to VS we were greeted by a woman that spoke almost no English but tried her best to explain the map she provided and subway system. Our flat was connected with the woman that greeted us. There was a door in the hallway that connected the two flats, which apparently the maid would enter and exit from when cleaning the two flats. It wasn’t a problem until we came back one afternoon to find her sitting on our bed watching TV and on the day we were schedule to leave we went to get some coffee before the shuttle arrived and upon returning to the room she had taken all of our luggage out and put it in her flat which was strange as well. Let’s just say that wouldn’t happen in California but maybe the rules are different in Rome. The flat was walking distance to the Vatican/St. Peter’s and relatively quiet at night, but if you plan on taking a nap during the day bring some earplugs. Rome is just a loud place, sirens and horns going all day. Our flat was swept, bathroom cleaned, and bed made every day except for Sunday which is understandable. Overall the accommodations were perfect for what we needed and wanted but I could have done without the woman in our room.

Vatican suites lies within walking distance from one shopping street and the Vatican. We rented a 2-3 p room with a nice and comfy four poster bed with lovely pillows. Grand lit, so prepare for a struggle if you share the bed and aren't used to sharing one big cover. The glasses and coffee cups weren't cleaned properly, but this was fixed immediately without any sour faces when we pointed it out. Misstakes are OK under such circumstances! Room, sheets and towels were clean but the towels smelled strangely from the detergent. During our week's stay the bed was made every day but the one public holiday that occurred during this time (maid was off). The linnens were changed once. The hot water preassure was quite low, so to set the shower head to "massage mode" is a hot tip if you want any hot water. Else you're in fore a brusque awaikening in the morning ;) There is some traffic outside, but not more than can be expected in such an area. Sensitive sleepers should bring ear plugs just in case. There's a great coffee place on the opposite corner in the intersection Via Silla/degli Scipioni. Not that coffee in Rome ever was bad, but this one had the best and most varied breakfast cornetti selection ever. Vatican Suites is very close to the subway and some good busses, but a good tip is to use the offered shuttle service (only cash) to and from the airport as it takes close to two hours to get there. Travelling by the Leonardo Express is everything but fast and finding one's way for the first time at Termini to the metro takes time even without backpacks, bags and suitcases. The subway and busses have no time tables available at the stops, but the longest we ever waited for either was about seven minutes, close to midnight on a Sunday. Great when sightseeing :) The driver and the older lady that let us in spoke English, the maid did not. And although she told us she understood us when speaking it, it was quite obvious that she didn't. Just

Excellent location, short walk to the Vatican and other tourist attractions. This is not what I would call a Bed & Breakfast, rather a compact apartment.

NO HABIA NADA PARA DESAYUNAR. SOLO UNA CAFETERA Y UNA NEVERA. SI QUERIAS HACERTE UN CAFE TENIAS QUE COMPRAR LOS FILTROS, EL CAFE, LA LECHE Y EL AZUCAR. PARA DOS O TRES DIAS QUE ESTAS NO TE MERECE LA PENA.

Very nice and clean room with high ceiling, a refrigerator, adequate for four people. Very nice bathroom. Very convenient location. Very quiet all day. We enjoyed our stay.

i did not like my stay at vatican suites at all and wouldn't recommend people to stay there. the room is overpriced and doesn't include breakfast...and you can get a three star hotel with breakfast included for a better price and quality. the area is residential so it is hard to find, and there isn't help available when you need things such as a map, or recommendations of where to eat and go out because it is not as heavily touristed as other areas. the building that the vatican suites is located in did not have electricity and the elevator didnt work when we arrived, although it was later fixed.the building is full of elder people. Upon our arrival, we waited for like an hour before we were given our keys. the people at vatican suites are not welcoming at all, and are not flexible if you need to make a change of your stay. the location of this place is far away from all of rome's main sights except the vatican which is walking distance. the room is clean although the beds aren't very comfortable. i would only recomend someone to stay here if they are looking for a very quiet and calm place that is easily accesible to the vatican. overall, i was very disapointed with my stay at the vatican suites
