Inn 1 Via Dei Valeri - Rome

The hotel is great for visitors who wants excellent hotel facilities in a fair price. Rooms are very modern, nice decorated, clean and equipped with excellent bed and high speed Internet. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, fluent English speakers. The hotel is not located in the heart of Rome attractions, but still in a walking distance for people who like to walk. In addition attractions are easy to access by public transportation (bus stations are located very close to the hotel).

What a wonderful B&B! I was initially a little apprehensive since it seemed a little far away from the center of the city, but I was worried for no reason. Getting to/from the B&B from the train station (literally across the street from the 714 bus stop) as well as the city (around the corner from the 81 bus stop) is really easy and fast. It was still a very active part of town and the Colosseum was only a 10-15 minute walk. The B&B has a great staff - the day people (Niels and a lovely girl whose name escapes me) spoke GREAT English. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy - to die for chocolate croissants, meats, cheese, whole fruit, juice, coffee, cappuccino, and rolls. The rooms were just like they looked in the pictures - very stylish and modern. The bed was also the most comfortable of my trip (memory foam topper and pillows). My only rather insignificant complaints would be you could hear noise from the halls rather easily (my husband and I are light sleepers) - maybe putting down rugs would help to dampen the noise since it is tiled. The other one is the water pressure is rather light in the shower and it takes a little while for the water to get hot (we just turned it on 5 minutes before we were going to get in and that worked well). I would definitely recommend and return to Via dei Valeri - it far exceeded our expectations.

It was a very good experience; between this and another B&B booked a few months earlier; B&B 1 Via dei Valeri was wonderful,the services and accommodation were excellent and, even if we woke up late in the morning because of some problems we could eat together for breakfast. Receptionist were very nice and friendly being gentle and professional anyway. I'll do return to this B&B.

The owner of the B & B was very kind and accommodating to my wife, her sister & husband during their 5 night stay in Rome. When my wife forgot her glasses in her room, he mailed them to our home at no extra charge.

What a wonderful bed and breakfast! The location is a short walk or bus ride from the Colosseum, but in a very quiet, safe area. Very clean, modern, and nice rooms for an excellent price. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend, and I would definitely stay there again next time we are in Rome.

The location is perfect, just between San Giovanni in Laterano and the Colosseo. The rooms are clean but not very spacious. Our room was quite noisy since it was just by the reception and you could hear the telephone ringing, people arriving at the BB, and people talking while having breakfast... Our shower had problems and the staff did not manage to solve them during our stay, nor did they apply any discount on the final price. The breakfast is very poor: only a coffee or cappuccino and a croissant with marmalade. The staff was not Italian, and they only spoke basic English. They were not able to give any advice on transportation, places to visit, etc. nor did they provide us with a city map! In my opinion, a poor price-quality relationship...
