Because of its central location and good transport links, yet quiet and peaceful, Residenza Scipioni Luxury Rooms is perfect for a pleasant and relaxing holiday: you can reach in a few minutes walk to S. Peter, the Vatican Museums and Castel S. Angelo, and all other major tourist attractions are within easy reach thanks to its proximity to the metro station Line A "Ottaviano - S. Peter ", which is located just 200 mt.
Piazza del Popolo and the Spanish Steps are respectively two and three metro stops, but if you feel like you can get there with a leisurely stroll through the District Prati, including shops, boutiques and historic buildings, the residence is situated only Scipioni 200 mt from Via Cola di Rienzo, one of the most famous shopping streets of the capital.

Beautifully designed, impeccably clean room and bathroom with large, modern shower. Marta is welcoming, helpful and informative. This lovely B & B is close to the Vatican so touring is easy, as is the Metro stop. Restaurants and cafe's are nearby for a lovely evening out. Great choice!

The owners were the on site managers and were terrific. they were friendly, and willing to do what ever it took to make our stay perfect...even though it rained every day. They went beyond what we expected in terms of guiding us to their favorite restaurants, making reservations, showing us how to locate many of Romes hidden and known treasures, getting great taxi service and so much more.

Marta and Fernando are extremely helpful and welcoming guests with great joy. Fantastic service. They definitely are very focused on you as their customer. My single room was small and I could also hear the neighbours next room - but as I sleep with earplugs anyway, no problem. Breakfast ist very good, compared to other hotels I have stayed at in Italy. Definitely a strong recommend!

Relaxing Retreat in Rome! I love love love this place! I won't stay anywhere else when I come back to Rome. The location is perfect as it is in a safe neighborhood away from the crowds. It was very quiet and peaceful and the room was so clean and lovely. In my room there was a very large shower, unusual for Europe. The room itself was very large. There is so much attention to detail everywhere you look. The breakfast was delicious. But the best part of all was the owner, Marta and her husband. I emailed back and forth with Marta multiple times before my trip and she helped me with arranging my itinerary and gave me a list of her favorite restaurants throughout the city. Every restaurant she recommended was amazing as it was a local quality restaurant and not one of the dirty tourist traps you can find everywhere. Especially good were the Romeo Restaurant and D'Oro Osteria (1 block from the B&B). My tips for Rome Travelers: 1. Use Taxis instead of the Metro as it is more relaxing (generally), less crowded, and less likelihood of getting your pockets picked; 2. Stay here to be able to relax at some point during your touristy excursions - you will be glad you had a retreat like this; 3. Eat wherever Marta tells you is good (The pasta is better here than anywhere else in Italy); and 4. Enjoy a reasonable amount of the amazing sights without having to see everything (just come back). I thank the owners of this establishment for bringing me a truly peaceful and luxurious experience when I had had just about enough of all of the masses of people everywhere in Rome. Because of them, I want to come back to Rome!

Perfect base for exploring Rome and very close to Vatican City without feeling too 'touristy'. There is a metro stop one street away so if you're not a walker you have options. Great local area with bars, restaurants and grocery shops for all essentials. Marta and Fernando are extremely helpful, whether it's booking online tours/tickets, pointing out the best places to eat close by, or just making you an afternoon coffee. The rooms and common areas are modern and sophisticated with an understated elegance. I will be recommending Residenza Scipioni to anyone I know that is heading to Rome.

Both Marta and her husband were absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble from recommending and booking resteraunts to assisting with confirming tours. I would have no hesitation in recommending Inn Residenza Scipioni Luxury Rooms to anyone looking to find accommodation within Rome.

Regarding quietness of rooms: the Resideza within was exceptionally quiet. There was some noise from the street below. Returning to this B&B after a long day of sightseeing is like coming to your new home away from home. Marta and Fernando are the proprietors par excellence... The Residenza, on the 6th floor (you can get your daily exercise going up the marble staircase or take the cool like-in-a-movie gated elevator), of a residential in-city apartment building, has been beautifully, simply and elegantly renovated. Nothing frilly, everything functional, and exceptionally clean. From the time I booked this location to the time I arrived, Marta was in email contact with me, letting me know of essential websites for sightseeing advance tickets and arranging transportation (for a fee, and now having done it, I highly recommend it) to and from the airport. Another welcoming email arrived just before my departure from the States. I arrived a bit early in the day and yet my room was ready... Marta brought me the best cappuccino ever and a croissant to let me settle in gracefully. She got out the map and showed me how to navigate the highlights of the city. You are walking distance to St. Peter's square and the Vatican Museum (where the Sistine Chapel is... don't try to take a picture, you'll get caught :-) and a few short blocks to the metro station that will take you to the inner city (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain or the Coliseum). The metro system is truly easy and the way to get around. A self-serve breakfast of croissants, meats and cheeses, yogurt and cereal (and, of course, a cappuccino!) is included in this stay and is the perfect beginning to your day in Rome! Marta and Fernando are always ready with a suggestion of where to eat and what to see off the tourist-beaten track. I would and will return to the Residenza and recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. I booked here because of the reviews already posted, and I am honored to add to them.

Marta and Fernando provided outstanding service. I would like to return and use the Residenza Scipioni again, but would like a larger room with a double-bed.

I stayed at Rezidenza Scipioni for two nights with my girlfriend. We stayed at five hotels (Venice; Trieste; Florence; Cinque Terre; Rome) on an eight-day trip in Italy and this hotel was by far the best experience we had and the best value. Fernando and Marta were phenomenal hosts. Upon arrival, Fernando made us feel completely at home by welcoming us in, helping with the bags, and offering us drinks. The room was the nicest we stayed in all trip, with (what I think are) south and west exposures, and a view of Saint Peter's Basilica. The room had either just been renovated (they said they'd been open about three months) or has been meticulously maintained. The TV had the most cable channels we got all trip, although I probably should never have learned that since we were in Rome. Marta and Fernando were fantastic -- offering advice on the city and offering to book reservations but without being pushy. They were genuinely concerned about whether we were having a good time. And Fernando makes a mean cappucino. I recommmend Residenza Scipioni without reservation. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Rome is a phenomenal city (as you'll learn) and Fernando and Marta are phenomenal hosts.

Molto disponibili i proprietari e attenti a qualsiasi bisogno. Ottima la colazione, sia dolce che salata. Non posso che fare loro i miei complimenti e tornare alla mia prossima gita nella capitale.

Marta and Fernando are excellent hosts. The rooms are well-decorated and reasonably spacious. The welcome was warm and Marta/Fernando went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and hassle free. They even got up extra early to ensure we got breakfast on our day of departure!! I would definitely recommend Residenza Scipioni and will stay there when we next visit Rome.
