Inn Residenza D&D - Rome

Piazza Popollo is just 5 min from Residenza D&D and then - whole Rome is opened to you. Excellent location. Very nice and wellcoming owner - came and let me in at 1 o clock at night when I arrive. Apartments are on the 1st floor and there is extremally noisy as sleeping on the street.

A good central location....well served by tram/bus/metro. Friendly staff. A good sized double bed was very welcome esp. after the demands of Rome. I would book this again. For Rome, it is competitively priced.

B&B is centrally located, it is convenient to public transportation. The rooms are clean, well appointed and well soundproofed. The staff is very kind, generous breakfast even if it is not of excellent quality.

First let me say that Rezidenza D&D is not located in the midst of Rome's tourist areas, but on the edge, in a neighborhood. This was perfect for us as we wanted a quiet refuge at the end of our days. Access is easy from the Metro or on a tram. The Piazza del Popolo is 3 short blocks away, the Tiber is across the street. Our rooms were of average size for Rome but the bathrooms were fantastic! Breakfast is served in the room and is typical Italian (cheese, meat, some form of bread) but always fresh and something different each day. The juice was good and the coffee excellent! Best of all, Dominika is an excellent hostess, very knowledgeable, speaks very good English and has top quality contacts within the tour guide community. She recommended the BEST guide for our tour of the Vatican, made the arrangements for us and made it as easy a could be imagined. She also acquired our Rome Passes for us and did anything she could to make our stay trouble-free.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in Rome at Residenza D&D. Dominique greeted us and was very helpful and informative. This is a small B&B - only 4 rooms, but organized so it is extremely private. Breakfast is served in your room, which is well decorated and very clean. We loved the heated towel rack! And best of all, the historic center of Rome is just a few blocks away. We walked everywhere and Dominique's suggestions for restaurants were great. All in all, the stay was spectacular, hosts were wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. This B&B is great for a business trip or a romantic get-away. Very personal and private. Thanks Venere!

Nice room and very clean. Great location for seeing all the sights. The noisiest room I have ever stayed at. I think Metro run under the B&B with tram running 10 metres away from our window. Breakfast nice on the morning we got it. Nobody asked what time we were departing so never got any on our departure day.

Highly recommended!Very good position of the hotel, within walking distance, also very close to tram and metro stations. Very warm wellcomme, good english, great help with explanations to acknowledge the town. Good and big breakfast. This hotel could be recommended for everyone who commes to meet and admire Rome. For me and my husband - excellent.

The stay at D&D was definitely a pleasant one and the host is very nice. The only small drawback is that you are not in the very center of Rome.
