Inn Relais Piazza del Popolo - Luxury Rooms and Suites - Rome

Great place once we found it - very very difficult to find and get to.

warm welcome, good location, clean bathroom, clean towels, clean bed linen, basic breakfast.

Lovely little B&B in a very central position next to the metro station. They should give better instructions on how to find B&B within the building complex. It was not clear when we booked that the entrance would just be a push button on a door to an appartment block in a multi-building complex. Once we were inside, all was fine!

This was our first time in Rome and chose the Relais Piazza due to other feedback from previous guests and because of it`s location. The Hotel is exactly how it is described and the location is fantastic. It is next to Piazza Delpoppo which is a very nice square at the entrance to Rome. It is approximately 15 minutes walk from the Hotel to the Spanish Steps and about a 40 minute walk to the colosseum also 25 minute walk to St Peters Square and the Vatican. The Hotel is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are small and so is the breakfast area but it isn`t a problem because you don`t go to Rome to stay in your hotel!! The service we received from Rosie was brilliant....very efficient service at breakfast time and catered very well for my gluten free diet. Overall this hotel is great value for money and a great location and we would recommend it.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and wanted a hotel close to central locations, but not too noisy. The Relais Piazza del Popolo was just perfect. The rooms are small (to be expected in Europe), but absolutely spotless. The beds were super comfortable as well. The hotel is pretty modern and definitely recently updated. We were a bit hesitant to stay in Room 31, as it was just off the breakfast area and we were worried it would be noisy, but it was perfectly quiet. We didn't even hear the street noise and the room was light and airy. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel to a family with small children, as the elevator/lift is tiny and it would be difficult to get suitcases as well as strollers into it. The hotel is a great value as well. We would come back tomorrow if we could. We highly recommend this hotel.

Location was good but shared spaces/public areas were poor, the room (32) was just a couple of feet opposite the reception desk. The phone was ringing at night keeping us awake, people woke us up when they got in at night when opening and closing the main door. The breakfast area was really small and there wasn't much chioce of breakfast. It wasn't really a buffett breakfast. In the morning we were woken up by people having breakfast and noise of dishes and so on. In the PM it sounded like the dishwasher was being emptied with again noise of dishes. All in all not at all worth 150 euros per night!!! The staff were polite.

Small, basic but clean, friendly and a great location. Not a hotel, a B&B but all the better for it. Great for Central Rome.

Small hotel ideally situated opposite one of Romes nicest Piazza's the 3 roads leading from the Piazza will take you to all of the main sights,all within walking distance.Also plenty of good restaurants and bars 5 mins walk.The hotel itself was excellent rooms modern and very clean and staff really helpfull.Good continental breakfast

Very good accomodation for visit wonderfull city of Rome! Enjoy for breackfast in the morning with my friends.

We had a wonderful stay, the hotel is in such a brilliant location. Staff were very helpful, we would certainly come back here when we are next in Rome and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location: next to the Borghese park and villa (15 minute walk to Borghese Gallery), 15 minute walk from Spanish steps, 20 minutes to Trevi Fountain, 20 minutes to the Pantheon, 30 minutes to the colloseum and forum, 30 minutes to the vatican. Walking is great from this hotel - you really get to see alot of old Rome, so picturesque. Convenient to public transport: you are right next to the metro (which easily takes you to the vatican), or you can take a little electric bus to the colloseum. The rooms are clean, modern and quiet, the building feels very secure, and they even have a small lift. On check in, our host gave us some great restaurant recommendations and the staff made us feel really welcome in every way and gave us some good advice about our sightseeing itinerary. Loved this little hotel, it is a great value!

the service was exceptional! We had trouble finding the parking garage so the staff put coats on and walked with me to the garage...above and beyond expected service. The hotel is well-located, beautifully designed and decorated, immaculate...there has been and continues to be a lot of care taken with the property. It is small enough to get personal attention. Breakfast was tasty.

Perfectamente ubicado (junto a la plaza del Popolo y una parada del metro) es una zona tranquila, pero cerca del centro. Los desayunos se toman en una sala acondicionada en el hotel, ya no es necesario bajar al bar.

I think the rooms had been modernised since the web page photos were taken which was a nice surprise. It would have been nice to have another mirror over the desk area as the room was a little sparse for a luxury hotel. Also turn on the heated towel rail to help dry hand washing. The 8.30 am breakfast was too late but we managed pretty well on our own at an earlier time.

Rooms were in a good, convenient location. Functional, for the visitor who wants convenience. Right on top of the underground and at the end of a main shopping / restaurant area. Enjoyed the stay, especially the seafood restaurant mario (owner) suggested.
