The Piazzapagna view is an excellent place to stay right next to the Spanish Steps. I was keen to stay as close to the Spanish Ste[s as possible for my mother. And it certainly didnt disappoint. We had booked a triple room and from our room certainly we could see right on to the Steps. We'd booked a taxi through the hotel from the airport. I thought it was a bit steep at 50 euros for one way (we also took a taxi back, so another 50 euros). However, there is a tube stop very close to the hotel. We didnt use it as my mother wouldnt have found it easy. But for those who can, this would be the far cheaper option I Imagine. Room was on the small side. There is no tea making facility at the hotel, not that unsurprising. We didnt take breakfast, as there are plenty of places to eat all around. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, a good stay, and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to others.

The hotel was initially difficult to find with no signage other than the intercom panel. Once we found it we were pleased with the room and the hotel's location.

We stayed 4 nights in Rome. Our room looked out onto the Spanish Steps which was calm in the mornings and full of excitement in the evenings (lots of World Cup celebrations). The rooms were air conditioned and breakfast was brought to our room. Breakfast consisted of a variety of croissants and rolls, coffee, and juice. The Piazza di Spagna View is on the 4th floor so lots of stairs. The front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgable about the area. The Spagna Metro stop is just around the corner from the hotel - very convenient. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Rome.

The location was superb. The rooms were beautifully decorated, but really small. After a day of hard sight-seeing, a comfortable chair or two would have been nice to sink into. Literally, the rooms are the size of the bed and bed-side tables with a small area for breakfast. We also had a situation where our cell-phones stopped operating and our daughter had no way to contact us when it became necessary for her to do so, as there was no full-time desk or concierge service or phones with voice mail in the rooms. Assets? Location, location, location. Literally overlooking the Spanish Steps and right next to the Metro so we could get around quickly and efficiently and we felt like we were really part of the neighborhood. The service that was given was gracious and well presented, but not extensive and definitely a negative.

I have visited Rome about 5 times but this is by far the most pleasant stay i had and mostly because of the excellent choice i made of this lovely hotel. It is probably in the best area of Rome yet surprisingly quite and most welcoming. Unlike other hotels i have been to, this hotel has the top quality of making one feel at home and not in a commercial place. I would most definitely use Pza di Spagna View hotel on my next visit. Well done to the management.

This hotel is just perfect for sight seeing. You wake up and get the breakfast served in your room and when you get out of the hotel you are in the city center. There are many restaurants and supermarkets near by and the metro is just around the corner. I would definitly stay at that hotel again, when I come back to Rome!!! Thanks venere.com to get such a great price!!!

Location is fantastic. The view was great. The room was tired and shabby although it was clean AC worked well and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very small, old and the water pressure for the shower was terrible! It was very expensive for what was offered. If it wasn't next to the Spanish steps it would have been barely acceptable.
