This hotel does not have a restaurant, breakfast was a couple of blocks away and only coffee and pastries. It was very noisy in the morning, since this hotel is inside a building that shares other hotels and regular tenants. Pictures are nothing like the real thing! Staff was nice though.

We had an excellent room with windows to the street outside and the little courtyard with orange and lemon trees. The staff were helpful and there were clean and tidy. Bedding and towels changed every day. The breakfast was served in a coffee shop a short distance away. Clean and fresh and very nice. We are very pleased and would like to visit this hotel again next time in Rome

This was our first stay in Rome and also at this Hotel. Unfortunately the hotel is next to a main street and so you can not sleep with opened windows. But with closed windows you will not hear any noise from outside and also there is a cooler in each room. The rooms where very clean and also realy nice. Also the staff welcomed us really nice. Unfortunately the wireless did not work all the time but at the most times it worked. The provided breakfast at riks cafe near the hotel was one sort of sweet and one coffe for free. This was really nice and also the bar is a good meeting point if you like to buy a cheap and tasty coffee or pizza. All over we really enjoied our stay at the city and in the hotel. For us it was located perfectly because it is near the termini and in walking distance of the most sights. I also think that the price is normal for this city.

Terrible place!!, the worst hotel we'd ever been, here are just SOME reasons: 1. Dirty place, the pillows and the sheets was stained with something brown... maybe blood? who knows... 2. The elevator was so old... you can barely get into with one or maybe 2 bags... no more, oh by the way, the room was in the 4th floor and the old elevator was malfuntioning 2 days... 3. You have to use earplugs if you want sleep, you can hear EVERYTHING from the others rooms... even when they use and flush the toilet... 4. We asked for a shuttle to go to the airport (€ 55)... but if you walk 3 blocks you can find another one for € 8. 5. You are by your own, here is no 24h service, no even a telephone in your room. 6. No restaurant. 7. In winter, we had to take a couple of showers with COLD water, NO hot water service for 2 days. 8. Every time that you take a shower the complete bathroom was flooding, some times even the waters came out to the room. 9. 2 days with no soap, shampoo, nothing... 10. The Internet: it's a totally mess, if you want to catch signal you have to go to the room's door and don't move!!, even doing so, you will loose the signal every 4-5 minutes. that's pretty much I can remember about the "lovely" stay in the Palma Residence Castro Pretorio"

Standard twin en-suite. Good location but very poor on everything else despite being clean and tidy. Subject to a request for refund and separate details sent to customer services and the B&B. Main problems:- No hot water from 9.30 in the evening and still cold when we left next morning at 7am. No explanatory information in room (only detail was change in local bus times), breakfast not provided and no information given on how to obtain. Free wifi was locked and no code provided. Sat TV limited a very small selection of channels. No phone, no in-room tea/coffee. Safe locked and no information. Reception in a different block and no way to contact other than walking.Shower didn't work properly (head blocked). Lift instructions didn't make sense. One thin blanket on bed and no other linen.

Breakfast was not included as expected from a B & B. The television didn't work, the window was broken, the water didn't get hot, the bathroom was outside the room. The room reserved was not available
