Great location on the main street in central Rome, nice and helpful staff, the rooms are very well decorated, I fully enjoyed my stay there! The only small issue is that, depending on the room location, there is sometimes no WIFI signal inside the room, every time we need to go to the front gate and get connected online.

Excellent location, just one minute to the Via Nazionale which is situated in center of Rome; you can easily use busses, metro or simply walk to the historical places. Shops, restaurants, bars are also near. Notti personnel’s are very professional, and always likes to help. Highly recommend Notti, and next time will choose the same place to stay.

I would not recommend this place. It had a good air conditioning, but the rooms were dark and very small. The breckfast was barely adequate. I would not stay here again and instead would spend more money and get a nicer place to stay in Rome. The location was close to many of the good sites and metro a plus. We stayed 3 nights and it was too many for us in Rome, hot and crowded in July. I would choose to go to Rome in Spring or Fall.

We stayed in a triple and when i booked the room was under impression that there would be a bathroom in our room. when we got there our private bathroom was outside. so it was hassle some. but other rooms seem to have there bathrooms in there room. the shower stall & shower head could have used some renovation. also, the room keys are actual keys and were annoying to use to open and close the doors. but overall everything else was fine. the room was clean and spacious. there was a working ac. breakfast was included; nothing too special. there was 1 computer w/internet in the common area that you can use. the ppl at the hotel were nice and spoke english.

Very good location - easy to reach main sights of town, friendly staff. Free safe in the room and free internet on reception (but just one computer). My room was rather small and dark, but for the people who are not going spend all the time in the room this B&B is very good place to stay.

We had a great stay here, 6 people in two bedrooms. The staff was very nice, polite and extremely helpful with any type of question or request. They do have a breakfast area now, but not that spacious and next to some of the bedrooms. Ours fortunately were on the opposite side of the building. It is a a perfect budget place and definitely will be back.

Notti a Roma Staff are fantastic! Very kind and helpful! We would give them a 15+!!!!!!! The location is great for experiencing Roma! Only 2 improvements suggested: 1. attention to large amounts of mold growing on ceilings in bathrooms (it drops onto bathroom floor, toilet and into sink) otherwise the rooms and common areas are very clean and 2. Air circulation in guest rooms and breakfast area is poor. Fans/better air con would be good in summer.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon! Our first stop was Rome and we were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly English-speaking staff, and the close proximity to most of the sites. We walked everywhere, except to St. Peter's Basilica but that was just a short subway ride away. The hotel is within walking distance from Termini Train Station, as well- which was a big help, as Taxis in Italy can be expensive. Another advantage was, they had a computer available for free internet use. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others who just need a nice, clean place (nothing too fancy) to lie their heads while in Rome.

The hotel ist well situated in the center of Rome in a beautiful old house. The welcoming was very warm and the receptionist was very kind and gave us a lot of informations about the town, public transport, food and many other things. The room was a little small but nice and clean. The breakfast was typical italian with croissants, müsli, yoghurt, cake and a small choice of cheese and sausage. Regrettably the coffee was not so good. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would stay again!

Notti a Roma is in an ideal situation but the room we were given was not suited to a family with tall teenage boys.It was a double maybe a triple room that had a fourth bed squeezed into a corner. The bathroom was very small with no ventilation and was very mouldy and smelly. The linen is only changed every 3 to 4 days and there is no where to air towels except on the end of your bed. A hotel could possibly have suited our family better. Our room was right beside reception and it was noisy. Breakfast room very small and limited chioces of food offered. Our family would not stay there again.

Notti A Roma is nice and reasonable for the price. It is very accessible to all the important sites in Rome. It is also close to the Termini. If you take the train (Leonardo Express) from the airport, unless you are dog-tired and/or have a lot of luggage, you can walk to the B&B from the station. Exit the Termini by the taxi/bus stands and walk towards the Piazza della Repubblica (can't miss it). At the Piazza turn left and continue down Via Nazionale (stay to your right). Walk about 2 blocks to Via Firenze, make a right. Notti A Roma is about 1/3 the way up on the left. If you decide to take a taxi, be warned, it will cost (about 11 Euro for just a few blocks). As for Notti A Roma, the room was clean and comfortable. However, it was by no means quiet. I had a room in the front facing Via Firenze and there is a bar on the corner that comes alive at night. The noise was awful and quiet didn't come until around 3:30 a.m. Luckily, it rained a couple of nights so the people stayed inside. But you can be certain, if the weather is nice, the street will be bustling until the wee hours. Be sure to ask for a quiet room, if they have one. Still, despite the noise, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The price is right, the staff friendly, and the location is perfect for getting around.

The accomodation is situated close to the train station, only an 8 minute walk from there. in comparison with other bed and breakfast is the price and what you will receive for it excellent. the rooms are very comfortable, not much space but enough. rooms are quiet, although close to a big street. we enjoied our stay at notti a roma. one thing i missed was the possibility to reach a good and traditionell italian restaurant on foot. we found one good restaurant. we think that spending holiday in rome might be better around the campo del fiori....very romantically places around there, but very far from notti a roma... we did not use the metro, everything is within walking distance.

My first comment is, there are some rooms whose are only separated by a door. When people of the other are noisy, it is very disagradable. And my second comment is when you reserve a double room, please do not put a simple bed beside the other. Anyway, thanks. A.G.

This is a wonderful place to stay, at a very good price. It's about 5 blocks from the Termini station, maybe a ten minute walk. The nearest Metro stop is Repubblica, which is two blocks away. Located right off the Via Nazionale, it's within walking distance of the Forum, about 15 minutes away. The breakfast is good; a little more than just coffee and croissant. Very easy to find, and very easy to get to shopping and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling on a budget to Rome, especially if you want to be near Termini to get to/from the airport quickly. The ratio of price to quality is very good, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were; they were much better than expected.

Very good value for money considering central location of hotel. Pluses - helpful staff, quieteness and easy reach to bus stop, metro and Termini station, minuses - poor breakfast, noisy A/C, no bathroom shampoo.Just take care that airport transfer may be found cheaper than that offered by hotel. All in all it's difficult to find this level of service and location at this price.

Our stay in Roma was very excellent as stated before. The description of the accomodation was in the way we found it in Roma. The employees were very helpful, their english was better than ours, and they tried everything to make us happy. When you arrive at termini station, take the metro to the station Republica. Walk along the via nazionale up to the Mc Donalds, than there is the Via firenze. It is nearly in the middle of roma, so that you can reach all monuments by foot. Once again thanks for our stay, and we will come back next year.

We used nearly one hour to find the hotel as the hotel was marked totally wrong at the map from Venere. Once we found the place it was a big surprise to us to find that our room was not at the address of the hotel but around the corner, and that we were not able to get to the reseption without going out at the street and in the next dooreven though the employees were able to go between the two appartments trough a door we were not allowed to use this. A totally unacceptable thing was that my children were yelled at and told to go away while they were waiting in the yard for me to close the door and get down the stairs. You cannot rent a room to tourists and not allow their children to stay there! Furthermore, we are a family of four and had ordered a quadriple while what we got was a double with two spare beds. The room was increidle small and there were no room at all to place two suitcases! But there where some positive acsepts as well; The hotel is ideally placed with 'everything' within walking distance, the room was totally quiet (We stayed there when Italy won Football WC, so we should know!) and the staff was friendly and allowed us to ue their computer.

We requested a quad room. What we got was a double and 2 single beds shoved in so that we could barely move in the room. At best, this was a triple. Breakfast was served in the hallway/lobby outside the room doors. There was not enough room for everyone to sit. It was clearly designed for only 2 people per room to have seating. The air conditioning did not work well at all.

We stayed a week at the Notti a Roma. Hotel and furnishings were older but for the price it is a great deal. The staff was one of the friendliest and most helpful we have encountered. They went above and beyond in all areas, lining up taxis, providing maps and tourist information, etc. You can't get a better location in the middle of Rome. You can walk to just about any attraction (except the Vatican) and the train is no more than a 2 minute walk. Price vs. quality and location makes it a great deal. Highly reccommended.

We were in an off site location, which was very nice., THe staff was so helpful, however our room was suppose to be air conditioned. It did have a unit, but with the HOT weather this week it never got cool. We were uncomfortable only due to the heat. It is a very nice place, and the locatioin is the best. The on line map is not accurate, I walked around for 20 minutes becaue only some of the streets were shown on the map. A better on line map would have been helpful But the location is walkable to all sites and LOTS of wonderful inexpensive places to eat.

If you are just looking for an affordable place to stay in Rome, this will work. The location is good, but there are some inconveniences. Our bathroom was down the hall, not part of the room (but it was for our private use). No computer access, but they let you use their's if they are not (briefly). It's nice enough, but nothing great. We enjoyed our time at Notti a Roma. It was very central and in a nice part of Rome. The family were very helpful and willing to assist all the time. We had a pleasant stay at "notti a roma", but we had a few remarks; First of all our room was located next to the reception so it was somewhat noisy. I had a grand time. Like others, missed the doorway and walked a couple of blocks before turning back. I missed the door because someone was standing in front of their sign. The staff helped find several great restaurants. Breakfast had no fruits, but there was a market nearby so I just picked up some and kept it ready. The place pretty well matched what I had read on Venere (positve). I would be happy to stay here again.

Ask for a room in the adjoining building (called Roman Nights), as it is away from the main road, which sees heavy traffic well into the night. The double room is small & so is the bathroom, but they are both clean and well maintained. After all, this is a B&B, not a hotel. My wife & I were totally satisfied with our experience with the place & its staff. The people are friendly and helpful, with directions & itinerary suggestions. We will definatley stay here again.

A friendly, quiet hotel despite its closeness to one of Rome's main roads. Brilliant location, literally a stones throw to both Metro and Bus stop, also near to the station but far enough away to be out of the dodgy immediate vacinity! For the price this first floor hotel is a very good little place to stay in Rome. The staff are smashing. It is clean and comfortable with period wood ceilings. Forum, Trevi, Spanish steps all around 15 minutes walk. Railway station 8 minutes and Metro 3 minutes. The area has good shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again.

Wonderful personell, that helped us with everything. They were even very helpful with the booking and alterations that needed to be done before the stay. The location was perfect. We brought children on a class trip (12 yearas of age) and this hotel was perfect and welcoming. The rooms were very nice and clean. But the best aprt of the stay in the hotel has been the very helpful personel.

Our stay in Rome was excellent. The location, which was several blocks from the train station was perfect for train travel, plus catching bus transportation to sightseeing areas. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms, though small, were similar to others in Italy as for space/size. Very clean & comfortable. I would definitely return and stay in this location.

The only problem was with hot water. It is unpredictable whether we have it or not. So it takes about 15 or more to wait till hot water starts going from the hot-water tap. And another rather funny thing - because the soggiorno is in the old house with thick walls, the only place where my cell-phone worked was window-sill and preferably with slightly open window.

Unfortunately, I had a very early flight and was not able to fully enjoy what the hotel had to offer. They kindly made arrangements for a 4 am taxi for me, and ensured I had the contact information in case there was any problem, as the reception was not open that early. They also offered to pack me a breakfast to go, but unfortunately, forgot to leave it for me. But, this was not a problem. I do plan on staying at this hotel on my next visit to Rome.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was charming, and the breakfast was just fine. The location was great, just 7 minutes walk from the train, bus, and subway stations, so getting around was a breeze. We had a room that was reached by going through a courtyard, and up about two flights of stairs, so it was very quiet, no street noise.

Our flight arrived at 11pm and the staff at Notti a Roma were kindly waiting for us. Our room was clean, spacious and had all that we required. The bathroom was also very clean. Our breakfast was lovely - croissant, toasts, jam, cheese, and coffee. A great start to the day. Overall we were very happy with Notti a Roma and it appeared to be very good value for money - especially in Rome!

We really enjoyed our stay at Notti al Roma while in Rome. For three first time travelers to Europe, all of our expectations were met and the front desk people were very helpful in answering all of our questions. We ended up staying here our last night as well after we toured more of Italy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Breakfast was served to our bedroom door at our request and was good. The Notti a Roma is very central for the sights of Rome and is good value for money.

This hotel is close to everything in Rome and only about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was average. The room was small and the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but what do you expect for 100 Euro in Rome? The room was quiet as far as outside noise - we had the windows closed with the A/C on. We stayed in a "back" room which was actually separate from the main part of the hotel, so street noise was not really a factor. The only noise issue came from other guests. The walls were thin, so you could hear others talking, and the doors were noisy. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke relatively good English.

Very good value. Clean. A bit noisy because we were on the street. We had a quad room but, with pullout sofa in living room, we could have made it 2 bedrooms. Great shower and bathroom. The towels were unusual - more like tablecloths - but OK. We left very early so breakfast was left on a tray outside our door. Staff were very efficient and very helpful.

Our room was clean and pleasant. Small, as expected, but workable. At check-in, the staff was courteous and everything went smoothly. Our room was not in the main complex but a few doors down the street, which was not a problem. Breakfast was good, nothing outstanding. The advertisement stated in room air conditioning which was correct. The problem was that the unit could not efficiently cool the small room and the maid, although requested to leave the air conditioner on, insisted on turning it off every day so we would come back to a stuffy, hot room. As for public areas, there were none and no place to escape the room to cool off. All in all I can't say I was terribly displeased or that anything was not as promised. Given another visit to Rome, however, I would search for other accomodation.

Bonne situation, accueil sympathique.

Notti a Roma is a great place to stay when in Rome. Location is convenient to railway station and most sights and shops are within walking distance or you can catch a bus or underground which are also close by. Staff were very warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The day manager was particulary helpful, young and enthusiastic and speaks english well enough. Our room was a little on the small side but there are larger rooms. Very secure. We would stay there again.

I would say that the personal is very helpfully and really like you to have a good stay at there place. The rooms are better in reality then on the pictures. Respond time for questions is very short during booking. Our experience: Late in the evening we ask for scotch tape so we could secure the baggage and after two telephone calls to the chief, the night personal could found the tape to us. We ordered taxi early in the morning and taxi did not showed up as told. Personal at Notti Roma help us to order a new taxi very quickly and we arrived as planed to the airport.

Quiet room, small but with necessary equipment. Clean, but a little dilapidated( 2 small windowpanes replaced by cardboard, a drawer missing in chest of drawers). Situated close to central public transport.Good English breakfast. Kind staff.

Everyone was extrememly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Although the location was close to the metro, it would have been better if it was closer to the sites. We had a great stay and we would definitely stay there again!
