Inn Moses Fountain - Rome

As the hotel is on an old church property , the entrance is from the side road opposite of a church. The taxi may not be bale to find the entrance, so just get dropped off near the fountain itself. Not a big deal to walk down to the hotel. Again as this property is an old one, there are no elevators to take your luggage in. There are stairs so either someone will help you with your luggage or you may have to take it up yourself. When we initially found our way into the hotel, we were not too sure if there was anyone there as the hotel does not have a front desk. We were however immediately greeted by Emma and welcomed with warmth that is not seen in commercial hotels. We were shown our mini apartment which was very good for 2 adults and maybe 1 or 2 small kids as it had one bedroom and one living with one single bed and one sofa cum bed. This apartment also has one bathroom so for us that would not have been adequate as we are a family of 5 including big kids. We talked to Emma telling her that we would leave the next day as the accommodation was inadequate for the 5 of us, unless she could give us two separate bedrooms with attached bathrooms. She did her magic and at euros 200 each room instead of euro 360 for the mini apartment, she shifted us to two fantastic rooms- Turtle and Terazzo. The rooms were too good!!Excellent bathrooms, great deco, and great wifi too. As the hotel site says this is a great guest house / hotel. The most valuable asset for this property is Emma who ensures all the comfort one can dream of in a hotel and the fantastic rooms make up for the small size of the hotel and missing front desk. The continental breakfast was as good as can be in a European hotel. All in all, we were extremely happy about our stay there. The sound from the Moses Fountain did not really bother us as written in one of the reviews, but better darkening of the windows in the terrazo room would have made our stay better than perfect!
