Inn Relais La Maison De Luxe - Rome

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The only thing I would say is make sure you set an exact time to check in, if not no one will be there. The hotel is in a great location, fairly close to everything. My husband and I walk everywhere. The breakfast is ok. Water, juice and coffee are available at all times.

The location was great. We stayed in a room facing the courtyard and it was quiet and very romantic. There was a nice tub in the bathroom that we didn't get in some of the other places we stayed in Europe. Great selection for breakfast as well.

Relais La Maison is a stylish, beautifully converted guest house, within easy reach of all the main attractions. You are just on the outskirts enough to make it more reasonable to eat and drink around there but near enough to walk anywhere in about 15 minutes. The room was gorgeous and felt very luxurious, there were all the mod cons you would expect or hope for and nothing that had not been thought about. Even the bathroom was top notch. The staff and the owner could not have been any nicer. They all went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed or to help us. There is a chic communal kitchen area where breakfast is taken however, nothing is locked away and you really feel like this is a home. On returning from a long day out one day we got the kids ready for bed and were able to go to the kitchen and make a cappuchino from the machine, which makes wonderful coffee. When travelling with kids especially you really do realise how expensive Rome is (ie. 5 Euros for a cappuchino outside the Vatican) so to be able to pour yourself a lovely coffee for free seems to be a cheeky treat. No other place we stayed in offered this possibility and I don't know if we were supposed to use the kitchen at night but it certainly was not forbidden so I guess it was ok. The guest house is situated in an old traditional building and uses one of the floors, do not let any of this put you off - it is worth the visit - I have already recommended this place to some friends and I would use it again in a flash. Luckily the large secure car park is about 1 minute away (although this does cost 30 euros a day) and it was a bonus knowing that we could 'put our car away and pick it up when we left'. Rome is not the sort of place you would choose to drive around - we bought a tour bus ticket from around the corner of the Relais La Maison and found this hop on/hop off option the most economical. If my friends were visiting Rome I would encourage them to stay here - nobody coul

Very chic and pleasing internal surroundings for a reasonably priced hotel in central Rome. Nicely furnished and decorated. Short walk from train station (though neighborhood around station a bit seedy late at night). Hotel has private locked entrance. 5th fl, but small lift available. Staff friendly and helpful in the mornings but not around at night. Reasonable walk to public transportation and walking distance (though not really close) to many major sights. Nice breakfast area with ample breakfast choices and caffe machine available all the time. Same area available for public use and nice view out over Maria Maggiore Cathedral in evening. Outside unimpressive, but inside much nicer and more comfortable and modern than expected. Safe and refrig in rooms were a nice addition, as well as free wi-fi. A/C worked well in late June We really enjoyed our 3 night stay there. One of the nicest on our trip in our price range. Not a bargain, but quite reasonable by Rome hotel cost standards

B&B Relais La Maison De Luxe is the place to stay in Rome: a hidden 'diamond' in Rome. Nice, spacious rooms and on a good location (only 5 min walk from Termini/Railway station). Breakfast is ok/sufficient, but not copious.

The location and facilities could not have been better for us. We were surprised to find the B&B on the 5th floor of a building (with elevator) and that explained, perhaps, why there were no photos of the place - just the rooms and eating area. That information is a positive so could be included in information about the B&B. We ate a block away, picked up the Hop-On Hop-Off bus a short walk away - location great for our dream trip that included 4 days in Rome. We loved our stay and highly recommend it to others.

Highly recommended! Stayed there for 5 nights and truly felt at home. Comfortable bed, spacious shower and lots of little touches added to the all-round good experience. Tony and Claudia were extremely helpful and friendly, with great suggestions for places to see and good restaurants. Convenient for many buses, so getting around Rome is not a problem.

This hotel is one of the best hotels I had been in all my life. The pictures are reals. Is very contemporary and full of confort. Very clean and the people is amazing. Is sad they don't have more hotels in other cities. I recommend it to everybody...families, couples or singles. Mrs Loretta and Mrs. Claudia are amazing.

This was an amazing hotel clean quiet and the staf and the owner amazingly helpful.

During a nearly two-week trip to Italy, this was probably the best place our family stayed. It was not inexpensive, but it was so worth the money. We rented two rooms for 3 nights each (one for us, one for our kids), and the rooms were lovely. The A/C worked wonderfully, everything was immaculately clean, free internet was available, and there were even some TV channels in English. The B&B is on the 5th floor of a building and is extremely quiet. Breakfast is self-serve and good. Only criticism is that the building has an ancient elevator. One day during our stay, it was out of order. Also, it can only accommodate one suitcase at a time.

The B&B had an ideeal position. It was possible to walk to all the sites in rome except the vatican but the metro was very close. Tony was very helpfull and spoke a very good english which was very nice. He helped everyone ordering tickets, taxies etc.
