the hotel should be positioned in the tuscany countryside to be called excellent; here where it is you can't refrain from the surroundings which are the roman highway and the awful surroundings of a metropolis: too loud and all seems dirtier than it really is

I dare you to find a more peaceful stay. The grounds inside the walls were so peaceful and lovely. The nuns were helpful with maps, questions, etc. Breakfasts in a nice and large downstairs room. Vending machines for hot orcold beverages and junk food in separate building on the grounds. Wonderful view from the back of the property. Negatives: We were shocked when we first arrived because of dumpsters overflowing with trash/garbage outside the walls of the property. The property is high on a hill and the bus is at the foot of the hill so bring your comfortable shoes.

Nice hotel- clean and well-kept. Good breakfast. The location is not so good for tourists- there is nothing to do around the hotel. But just to sleep it was perfect for us.

When our GPS brought us there ,we couldn't find out where the inn is,you must ring the bell ,then they will open the door for you !My son was excited about the space in the room ,bigger than the hotel we stayed in Rome and Chianti!

The hotel and grounds are excellent. Run by nuns and very clean. Breakfast very good Secure parking. Centre of Rome can be reached by a bus and underground train. Only costs 1 € for a ticket to allow 75 mins of travel. So can get to the centre for just 1€ . bus is every 30 mins and the train is every 5 mins. It is located in the outskirts of Rome. As for quietness. As this is a retreat for church people as well the nuns open the blinds in the common areas at about 7am which woke us up each day. But for us that was a good wake up as we wanted to see Rome. One night the hotel had a class of French students which were dunning up and down the halls until about 11 pm Would go back again.

It was a pleasure staying at Casa Santa Rosa as the place is clean and well maintained. The nuns are friendly, but we had trouble communicating as the nuns hardly spoke any English and we didn't speak Italian. Breakfast is filling and the ambiance is relaxing and peaceful. The nuns also provided us with maps and good printed guidelines to help us travel around Rome.

this hotel is outside of Rome, so you need a car. The main advantage of staying there was an excellent price and the quailty of provided services. For 30€ you get TV, a small room, soap, shampoo, towels in bathroom, good breakfast and very welcoming nuns. The only complain was a noise from outside, because the windows were not soundproof, but you just pay a very small price, so its ok. Just remember that the navigator(if you have one) will bring you to 700m ahead from the hotel(directly to Metro supermarket), but in fact it is right on the roadcross to A1 Firenze and SS1 Aurelia

The nuns were very welcoming and helpful, and the accommodation pleasant and relaxing, and I would definitely consider staying again, as it provides easy road access to the centre of Rome but also to the sights in the countryside to the west of the city, such as Ostia Antica and the seaside. The breakfast room was spacious and the buffet-style continental-style breafast filling. No limit to just one roll per person like some hotels I have stayed in in Rome. The hotel is best accessed by car, although I noticed that there were bus stops nearby. The only unfortunate aspect is that the address when entered into our satellite navigation system took us to a supermarket at the bottom of the hill half way down the via Del Pescaccio at the junction of Del Mercato, which is also the location marked on the Venere map This is about three quarters of a mile further north than the Hotel's true location at the top of the hill, immediately you come off junction 33 of the circonvallazione occidentale. That is to say, at the very beginning of the via Del Pescaccio. We actually had to go into the supermarket and ask one of the staff if the knew where the hotel was, and they pointed us back of the hill towards the junction with the motorway.
