Everyone connected with Daphne Inn was unfailingly pleasant and very helpful. The location was great - Daphne Veneto is located just off Via Veneto/ Piazza Barberini and a short walk to Fontana di Trevi and The Spanish Steps. We were very grateful for the restaurant recommendations - they worked out very well. This was our fourth visit to Rome in 12 years and when we come back it certainly will be to Daphne Inn

We stayed at Daphne in March 06 and the service was brilliant. Although our room was and hotel were excellent, we really feel that it was the staff at Daphne who made our trip so enjoyable and hassle free. They were so helpfull and informative, they really helped us to plan our stay effectively to get the most out of Rome. The location of the hotel is excellent and easy to get around, and the quality of the hotel is first rate. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or to recomend it to anyone planning a trip to Rome. If only all hotels could be like this one!!

From an initial email confirmation asking how they could help, to a final email thankyou asking what they could do better, the Daphne staff showed a sincere concern for the quality of our stay. The room had all we could want - bar fridge, kettle, cups, iron... There was a small sitting area outside our room with laptop and free 24 hour internet access (why need a TV?) The breakfast was excellent with the offer of a take-it-with-you package for an early flight. The Daphne was a real haven from the chaos of Rome. I highly recommend it!

I thought that the Daphne was fine for a couple of nights, and Alyssa and her staff were very friendly and helpful-- making reservations and orienting us around Rome upon arrival. They also gave us a mobile phone to use, with their phone numbers in the phone book, which we could use to call them if we had any problems or just wanted to know a good place for dinner. We also had a laptop with wireless broadband access directly outside of our room, with unlimited use, which was great. My couple of complaints are that there was no television in the whole place, and we're news junkies, so we felt a little out of touch-- no newspaper was provided either, that we knew of. Also, there were no smoking rooms, which is wonderful for non-smokers, but there were no smoking areas either (even in the little courtyard right by our room), so if we wanted to have a cig we had to go stand out on the street. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. The linens on the beds were very nice, they had some very interesting modern art all around, and the breakfast was, though not the best in terms of variety, very fresh and tasty. The location was also very convenient, right off of Piazza Barberini, with many restaurants, the subway, and central Rome kind of activities within walking distance.

The staff couldn't be more helpful with tips on places to go and places to eat and the location was great. They were renovating their breakfast area when we arrived (they had warned us in advance) but it was noisy at times during the early morning. It was dear but probably good value overall.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Rome. Shared room with my hsb. and 2 children (ages 13 & 16).Shower and airconditioning were great. Bathroom was quite large and rm, large enough considering the small amt. of time one spends in room.Breakfast was very good. Staff were fabulous.Location great. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice management and quite helpful. I think for our purposes the quad room was just too small with minimal storage. I understand that quad rooms are hard to come by, but this one was just too small , even for the price. We did enjoy are stay though because of the very convenient location. Breakfast was nicely done and again, the staff and owners were really a delight.
