Inn A Casa di Serena a San Pietro - Rome
Circonvallazione Trionfale 1 (Piazzale degli Eroi) - Rome
877-662-6988Thanks to the Cipro-Musei Vaticani underground stop (in front of the building), guests will reach sights like the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain or the popular shopping miles Via del Corso or Via Condotti in a twinkling of an eye.
This fully air conditioned Rome town house suite welcomes guests in a cosy ambiance, providing comfortable accommodations and a charming lounge area with satellite TV LCD flat screen and digital terrestrial television (DTT).
Please note that A Casa di Serena a San Pietro does not have a luggage deposit room, but it is possible to leave bags and suitcases at the reception every day, except Sunday, until 1 p.m.
One issue is that the room may have a private bath but I don't recall being told that it was not part of the room. I would have liked to know that ahead of time.

Serena was extremely helpful and the rooms were immaculately furnished, full toiletries, the lounge/living room area was equally charming, the best of our stay in Italy. Small touches like champagne with glasses on arrival, helping us reserve a taxi on our departure were very much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Rome

It was our last night in Rome and an earlier room I'd booked had cancelled because of a booking error on their part. So I had to scramble to find this little gem and Serena! The room was small, but comfortable and Serena was a most gracious hostess. I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this inn to others. Serena is what makes Italia bella!

Very nice and warm welcoming. Room was very clean, bathroom not high level but ok. The B&B is located inside a normal appartement house, the rooms were originally part of an appartement which makes it a bit clairaudient. Surrounding is ok and everything good to reach by feet or bus or metro.

We absolutely loved our room at Casa di Serena. We stayed in room #4 (red room). Serenella was so welcoming when we arrived and very helpful - especially since we were so jet-lagged. We also used the driver service provided by Serenella for an extra 40 euros (Thank you Phillipe for picking us up at the airport). The location was very convenient to the Vatican Museums which was the main thing on our priority list while we stayed in Rome. We would definitely stay here again.

Serena is a marvelous hostess with a powerful sense of what it takes to welcome and relax you after a hectic day of travel. We enjoyed room 5, the family room, with calming blue decor, a private bath with lots of space for a Rome hotel, and a large outdoor patio. As stated, Serena welcomed us on a hot afternoon with cool peach tea. A tray with gift boxed chocolate treats and champagne sat on one bed, and cold bottled water awaited in the mini-refrigerator. There was a flat panel television mounted close to the high ceilings and she sat with us for 30 minutes explaining the room and preparing us for a couple of days in Rome. Serena's is not a full-service hotel. There are only 5 rooms, and there is a hall bath that might be shared. Imagine you have a wealthy Roman cousin who has offered you her place in town and you'll understand. You feel the place is your own - you have a set of keys (for the buildings outer and inner doors, the main door to the B&B, and your room) and you'll rarely run into another guest. The building is quiet and solid and feels safe, with a gated entry and strong metal shutters which Serena asks that you lock when out of the room. The neighborhood did not feel upscale, but neither was it frightening. We came and went at any hour and the streets were well-lit and busy. Serena has relationships with antico caffe Doria, just across the street and down about a block, for the 'breakfast' part of the B&B experience. It is a typical Roman cafe with fresh and delicious pastries and of course wonderful espresso. You are entitled to a pastry, espresso, and juice daily, and it's a great place to pick up a few bottled drinks for your day of walking in Rome. Upon departure, make sure to ask for Alex to take you to the airport. His charges are more reasonable than the car you arrived in, I promise, and he is a polite and friendly gentleman we were pleased to have met. A Casa di Serena is unique, clean, comfortable, calm, and welcoming.

Serena could not be more helpful. The room was lovey and the location was good as we could easily find our way round on buses and the metro from the accommodation. While I understand the rationale it is a pity that breakfast is very basic at a local bar Nontheless we really enjoyed our stay.

On arriving in Rome my wife and I became separated on the Metro. Serena helped my wife find the B&B and then also find me(my wife had the directions). All this for someone she had just met. She also helped us with directions. She made our stay quite enjoyable.

A house very well conducted, very well furnished, with a high class decoration, with particulars that demonstrate the sensibility in art of the conductors. It daes feel at home. A change at the impersonality of many hotels.

The owner was very helpful and friendly. Staff was also very nice. Breakfast was nicely served. The location was convenient to visit Vatican. This property is recommended to a couple or family. I found single occupancy room is small and a bit too expensive.

Good accommodation perfectly situated for visiting Vatican City and Rome.Very convenient to the Metro and small grocery shops. Serena and Federica were very friendly and helpful, and the apartment is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean with tv, fridge, air cond. and internet connection! Highly recommended!

Very pleasant place. Walking distance to Vatican Museums, metro station Cipro is very close. The only weak point was the breakfast. Altough it compriesd various items, it was rather not tasty. No fresh fruits or vegetables at all. Everything very very sweet. Cake, jam, honey... Better buy something you can realy eat for breakfast in a nearby supermarket .

Very nice bed and breakfast, located very close to the metro station and the Vatican. Welcoming staff, very clean, we even had a nice terrace to enjoy the breakfast outside (room no. 5), absolutely a place to come back the next time we visit Rome!

There was just one disadvantage: we had our own bathroom with WC, but it was seperate to our room; apart from that we can highly recommend this B&B Casa Serena. The Pick-Up-Service functionned excellent (40 Euro one way) - it took us only 25 minutes from Ciampino to Casa Serena.

Coming back from busy days in Rome with rushing traffic always pleased us. We would walk into the common area and be immediately refreshed because of the beauty of it. Breakfast was delivered always right on time. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Only breakfest was in our view not good. No fresh bread and only a few sorts of jam. We advice to make the price a little hiher and serv a good continental breakfest

We received an excellent welcome after a harrowing taxi ride from the train station! The B&B is only 5 mins from a tube station which is very cheap and easy to use. The accommodation is decorated beautifully and both the bedroom, bathroom and communal lounge were spotlessly clean. The bathroom, although private is not actually en suite and although it was next door it did involve going out into the corridor which was a bit of a bind in the middle of the night. Breakfast is served in the bedroom which is great (although the bedroom was very small) and all the crumbs were gone by the time we returned in the evening! Overall (apart from the bathroom arrangement)I would reccommend Casa di Serena for lovely decor, cleanliness and value for money.

A little difficult to find but worth the effort. Very welcoming, clean and well positioned for the Vatican. Would be nice to have had a breakfast room. We would be more than happy to stay there again.
