Small price and quite place. The surroundings (Piazza Vittorio) are not really advisable for women. If you arrive after 9pm they charge you with 10€ fee, that is indeed written in the website, but is almost hidden.

The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom didn't have neither a window nor a fan but altogheter the stay here has been pleasing. The area in which this b&b is was a little particular, it seems to be in China, but they have had no problems.

I definitely enjoyed my stay in Casa di Mei,The host was so nice, and comprenhensive. He even speak spanish, so that helped alot. The only thing is that the price showed on the site does not include the breakfast (and It is especified in tiny little letters at the end of the page. Where noone actually reads)

Good relationship price/quality, close to center of Roma, good connections with public transport, weakness are surroundings and welcoming because the bell didn't work when we arrived. metro and tram stop very closed should be mentionned.

We stay 4 days in Rome and the hotel was the perfect location. Close to the metro, not far from the train station. The only problem is the breakfast, which is very poor. But otherwise it was a great place!

If you want to smell pee and poo and end up smelling like the toilet, stay here. We were lucky the trains went on strike so we had to call short our stay in rome - we spent only 30 mins in the room and was thankful we did not have to return. Not easy to find. There are more central places and cheaper hotels to stay in in Rome.

The reception is open only in the morning. This means that you have to arrange an appointment for the keys if arrive to the B&B later. The B&B is managed by a man from South-America which is fine. The bathroom is in common and located in the corridor. The breakfast is very basic. Overall the relationship between price (very low), cleaness, quietness and quality is very good. Wi-Fi connection included! :)

The rooms where ok. Nothing else we where looking for. Easy communication with metro. But I never read in rewievs what tipe of zone it is. A bit sceary go out in the night time. And breakfast - if you expect an full Irish it is far away from it!!! Otherwise everything was ok. We came to see Rome, not to stay in the room :)))

This is a really great hotel. The same as in the picture. Free wifi, spacious room, clean rooms. just in front of the metro station. very convenient. the only lackness is the surroundings. it seems it's not a very safe& clean surrounding. but it worth the price. and the staff is very helpful and he will give you free map which is very useful. the wifi is not working all the time and the staff will go home at 13:00 so if you have some problems during night you can't find the staff. that's why the check-in should be before 13:00. however, I will recommend this place to everyone. it is worth the price.

A good little base. On the inside of a big block - the entrance via a tatty-looking communal building door with door buzzer in a scruffy-looking row of shops is a bit disconcerting. But it is easy to find if you follow the instructions given on the booking (look for the flag). You have to let them know when to expect you as the place is not normally manned except at breakfast time. Once inside the hotel is basically a large converted apartment as far as I can see. Very clean, modern decor, spacious rooms which are blissfully quiet as they face into the central lightwell, not street. Comfortable beds, decent plumbing, friendly staff (Orlando). Basic breakfast as in many budget continental hotels, but fine. Free wifi was a bonus. 10 mins walk from Termini and <2 mins from metro. The square in front is lovely. Overall, a good price and good value for a budget stay. We'd stay again.

The staff was very welcoming, even though we arrived late, they agreed to wait for us. Our room was very cosy and clean and we were served traditioonal italian breakfast - coffee and croissant. (People who expect more should read a bit about Italian eating habits) Also this b&b was very quiet, we even didn't hear other quests passing our door when they went to have breakfast and considering how close it was to the center it's something worth to mention. In the room there was also TV, but who would want to watch TV when you stay in Rome?! :) It's was an excellent value for money and we hope to visit "A case di Mei" again in the future.

Very good value for money, hotel manager also gave us breakfast items the day before because we were leaving the next morning before breakfast began (although he was initially reluctant to do so). A kitchen for guests' use was advertised but didn't seem to be open to guests in reality once we got there. Otherwise, room very good, quiet and warm, got a much-needed good night's sleep. Also well-located near to Termini, although perhaps not the most salubrious neighbourhood in Rome.

This B&B represents excellent value for money for accommodation so close to the centre of Rome.We found all the major sights in walking distance (admittedly we do like a good hike) but if you want there is a Metro almost outside the front door. Our room was exceptionally clean, obviously recently modernised and very comfortable. Breakfast is fairly modest but OK. The host, Orlando, was very helpful and welcoming. Great value for a quiet, clean, well-kept B&B in the centre of Rome.

Not spectacular but clean and adequate basic accommodations. Building and surroundings are a little rundown and desolate-looking after hours but safe. Staff helpful but available only in the morning (have a contact phone number with you if you arrive after noon). Location in terms of transportation is very convenient. Internet service very good.

A very central, clean and not too noisy Hotel with excellent service. After nine vacations in Rome one experience that finding a room in a central hotel in the same price range not affected by too much noise is an idealistic and almost impossible project. I dare to propose that even hotels above the price range of `Casa di Mei` may in central areas also be subjected to the same lively sounds of beautiful Rome.

Perfectly situated, in front of the metro line A, and 5 min to Roma termini for the train to the airport via Via Mamiani. Far from the bus shuttle though, on the other side of the station, a good 15 to 20 min away: rather take the train. Very good choice as compared to the other dumps offered around the Termini Station, usually dirty, at the fifth floor with no lift. This B&b is on the first floor, the place easy to find, very clean and well-appointed. Very good value for money (for Rome, not anywhere else!!). Breakfast and fast internet included, which is nice. Rooms a bit small, but what do you expect for €60 B&B in Central Rome.

fine for all type of visitors, it is very closed to underground (line A) and to some other busses that nakes the B&B really reachable from the train station (5 mins) and well connected to the center (5 mins to Colosseo by underground). Rooms are incredibly silent and fresh - even during hot days. Clean and welcoming, the only weaky point I experienced was lack of natural light (since my room looked on internal courtyard).

Good breakfast. Room #1 has a "private" bathroom that is 15 m away via the hall and reception area, so be careful if that is too much for you to bear. TVs are very small, 14" or less. Need two remotes to operate. Rooms do not have plastic caps, and no access to kitchen (after 1 pm) if you want to drink something. Mobile air conditioning units, noisier than stationary ones.

We browsed over the internet for the cheaper hotels in rome, we found this one to be the cheapest and we were afraid that our decision could be horrible. But the hotel was very good..The rooms and the furniture was very good and there was a complete silence..!! however the lady serving breakfast seemed a little rude..but breakfast was quite acceptible..!! if you wish to have a good place to sleep...then i must recommend this hotel...!! it has no negative point...for the price..but we went in december so prices were quite lowered..!! but if you want to live in the hip hop or the poupulated area..then this is not the right location for your choice...!! but overall location of hotel was not that bad..!!!

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Lots of good points : very quiet room, spacious and very clean, comfortable bed, so-so breakfast but satisfying. BUT be aware!! The following point was bad enough to make us feel very incomfortable staying there. The woman in charge of the breakfast and the cleaning in general ( for payment, questions ) was rude and did not speak one word of french or english. For the first time in my life, i was asked to pay for the entire stay the first morning, and in cash ( even though they were supposed to take credit ). When we told her we were staying one week and had plenty of time for that ( she had our passports + credit card number anyway ) she became rude and kept asking for money every single morning during the breakfast ( not a good day start ). After 4 days, all of a sudden, she could take my visa card...so just be aware : no english speaking employee, will ask for cash right away, and may be impatient and rude throughout conversation..very sad, considering the rest was nearly perfect!

A great place to stay for a good price. A short walk from the main train station, just steps from the subway, and as someone else said it has a great pizza place right outside the front door. Room and bathroom are clean and looked after, the bed was pretty basic but did the job for my short stay. I'd stay here again if I ever get the chance to go back to Rome.
