We arrived before check in time and they let us store our luggage there while we went to get something to eat. This is very close to piazza del la republia and S.Marie Bascilla. Very convenient location. They had breakfast served out on a covered deck which was a nice surprise. All the staff were very welcoming and had good attitudes. I traveled with my mom who has difficulty getting around, stairs etc. They did have an elevator but it is tiny you couldn't fit 2 people with luggage on it so we used it one at a time, but this is everywhere in Italy lots of stairs. I would reccomend this place and/or stay there again.

I just spent one night in the hotel between flights. The toilet seat was broken (it was simply gone - you had to sit on the porcelain), there was no shelf near the sink for toiletries, no place to place the soap in the shower, and there were some signs of mold. For 100 Euros/night I would expect to get a bathroom in a much better condition than what I got, and because of that I would not want to stay at this hotel again. Otherwise the hotel was reasonable quiet, there was decent and free wifi connection in the room, and the breakfast was fine. The room was small, but not smaller than what is normal in Rome. The location is convenient, in walking distance to the main tourist attractions.

The hotel is in a good location, very accessible and within walking distance to the Termini. Great for those planning to make day trips to neighboring cities by train. Although it's on a back street, it's quite easy to find. The room was of decent size, came with all amenities which one would need but the bathroom was quite small, especially the shower. I was also unsure how clean the bedsheets were as there're stains on the bed cover and the sheets felt a bit sticky. All in all, it was on par with my expectations. With some upkeeping, it can be an excellent place to stay.

The hotel's location was great - just off a main street and close to a metro stop and the main train station. Room was great, big compared with what we'd experienced elsewhere. Internet access was free. The only negatives: a bit noisy on Friday & Saturday nights, and the breakfast buffet could have been better. I'd go there again however because of the location & the friendly staff.

This is our second stay at the Belle Suites. We enjoyed this stay as much as we did our stay 3 years ago when they had just opened and only had 7 rooms. Alessandro and his staff are welcoming and provide great assistance. We are sure to return. I would request an interior room as the exterior rooms can be noisy at night.

Bellesuite was a great place for us to stay. We really appreciated the location, in easy access to Termini train station, and the subway was very close. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good. Air conditioning worked! It was clean. We actually stayed 3 nights at Bellesuite, and one night later in our trip at Adler. It's the same hotel, just 2 different floors. We liked our room at Bellesuite better. Reasonable place -- not luxury. Good value. We found the shared computer with free internet access helpful.

My partner & I stayed at the Bellesuite from 24/8/8-28/8/8.Fairly well placed for all the major sites.A little awkward to find- had to ask policeman at the bottom of the Via Modena-it was at the other end.Bruno & Allesandro on the front desk both very helpful-although Allesandro's understanding of English was much better than Bruno's.Breakfast selection adequate but cappucino's were very good.Rooms well furnished but bathroom alittle on the small side.On the whole good value for money.

Great little alternative hotel at a very convenient, central location in Rome. Walking distance from Termini rail station and platform 24 (train to the airport) - if carting luggage, it may be easier to walk than take the metro to Repubblica stop (2 blocks from the hotel). Rooms are spacious and very stylishly decorated, staff are efficient and discreet, breakfast is adequate and served on a nice patio. If you don't care for the big hotel experience, this is quite a bargain for what you'll get.

Excellent welcoming. My flight was delayed so I arrived the day after, and I didn't pay the first night. Very well located, near Piazza Republica close to metro bus stops. I was in a business travel and I got a triple room, what's not usual in Rome! The only problem, I asked for Internet availability in the rooms, and actually there is... but a wired connection (not wifi).

Been to Rome three times and this was definitely the best hotel we have stayed in. The best thing about this hotel, which separates it from any other hotel I have stayed in is the staff - Bruno and Alessandro were very friendly and greeted you with a smile on arrival and every morning. They were very concerned that everything was okay with your room and did everything to make your stay easier including booking tickets for sights that required reseverations. It makes your stay so much more pleasant when you have nice friendly staff to come back to after a tiring busy day in Rome. The location is brilliant, within walking distance of most sights - make sure you bring comfortable walking shoes though!

Enjoyed our 3 night stay here in Nov 07. Bruno on the desk was friendly. Unusual set up with the hotel being above some appartments, but there's a nice, old fashioned lift with wooden doors and an iron gate. Breakfast not that special with squash style juice and coffee that tasted a bit of chicory. Disappointing that there was no hot water in the hotel on the morning of our last day but may have been an unlucky one off! Free use of the internet in the hallway and overall it was very good value for central Rome.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially when it came to recommending places of interest and, more importantly, excellent places to dine. Hotel was hard to find as it is part of a block and there is only a tiny plaque to show that the hotel is on the 2nd floor. One receptionist spoke very little english and when we tried to check out he told us there was nothing to pay then chased us down the street which was really embarrassing.

Very good value for Rome. Once upstairs, the reception and public area's are immaculate. Room was very clean as was bathroom, and very modern. 2 minutes walk from Via Nazionale with lots of shops / cafes / restaurants, and a metro station (Republica). 10 minute walk from Termini station which is ideal for getting the various open top bus tours. We loved this hotel! Bruno and Allesandro were so helpful in every way. The Target restaurant, just down the street was excellent and the nearby George Byron Cafe was convenient for a quick snack. It is nice now that breakfast is served right in the hotel though the room used for this purpose is rather small for the amount of tables. Breakfast was adequate. High praise for the morning cappucino! Its a great location, easy to walk to many sights and near a metro stop where you can ride to the Vatican. We felt safe on metro, no problems, even rode it doing rush hour. Can't wait to go back as we loved Rome and they made our stay so very pleasant.

We booked 3 rooms for January 14th thru the 18th. The hotel was only one block away from via Nationazale which offers excellent shopping. We could easily walk to the Trevi fountain, the Coliseum, and most other sites. The Repubblica subway station is 2 blocks away, which we took to the Vatican. We can't say enough about the hotel and the staff. When we arrived we were greeted by Alessandro and Michelangelo (both spoke excellent English). Michelangelo quickly took our bags to our rooms while Alessandro made us feel welcome. The rooms were exceptionally clean and newly updated. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Rome the Bellesuites is an excellent choice. The staff Bruno, Alessandro and Michelangelo are great hosts.

As a family of 5 we enjoyed our stay and the location of the hotel was great. The staff were very welcoming and were happy to give advice and make restaurant bookings. The only negative point is that my parent’s room was on the same floor as the reception and I shared with my sisters on the 3rd floor. The difference in the quality of the rooms was very noticeable and my parent’s room had basic decor in terms of the room and bathroom, also there was no shower curtain. On the other hand my room had a flat screen TV, DVD player and was very comfortable and matched the photos on the hotel site. Since it was my dads 50th birthday one of the nicer rooms would have been great. I cannot say if all rooms on 2nd floor were like this but I would advise requesting a room on the 3rd floor if you are staying here. The other comment I would like to make is the basic choice of breakfast which was now in fact being served in a room on the second floor and not in the Target restaurant as previous visitors have experienced. If you like cereal and pastries this is OK, but not for those that like a hearty hot breakfast. I would definately stay here again.

We stayed at the BelleSuite Rome for two nights in Decemeber 2005. I would rate our overall experience as excellent. The rooms were modern, clean, and well appointed. The location was great--close but not too close to the Termini train station, and within walking distance of the historic center of Rome. Finally, the customer service was almost unprecidented. Alessandro went well above the call of duty to help us find a last-minute reservation for New Year's Eve. The BelleSuite was booked but he found us a place less than 3 days before this busy holiday night. I would recommend this fine, small hotel with no hesitation.

This is a businessman's hotel. It looks nice in the photos, but the windows behind those pretty yellow curtains are not real windows, at least in my room. Its difficult to get up to go out and see the sights of Rome when you're encased in a pitch black cell. And the "room service" is not actually room service. Its when they re-stock your minibar which consists of a coke, a beer, and a bottle of water. Stay somewhere nearer to the center of town. Its worth it, especially when you want to get a nice bite to eat after a long day out on the town. In Rome, try to get a bigger hotel, they might have more services, and a door that actually opens onto the street, instead of the 3rd floor of some obscure building. If you are going to Florence, which I highly recommend. Stay at the Degli Orafi. I got an incredible deal on Venere for this stunning hotel. It was more than I ever expected. Beautiful.

My daughter and I were traveling for several days in Italy prior to our arrival at this hotel. I was extremely pleased to find that this place was everything advertised and more. The staff was professional, very helpful with any and all types of questions, the room was large and exceptionally clean, we felt absolutely comfortable and safe here. I would highly recommend this one. Having the internet service was also a definite plus, and I have since decided that I will not stay anywhere that does not offer this service. Only one slight negative, the hotel was not very well marked on the outside, it is in a building with several other small hotels, so we passed it twice while searching for it. It is however, very convenient from the train station, we walked from there in about 5-10 minutes.

This was a wonderful hotel for anyone who needs a comfortable bed and clean surroundings within walking distance of the main attractions in Rome. Our room was tastefully decorated and had a modern TV screen, well cared for furniture and a stylish (if small)sparkling bathroom where the towels were changed and the toiletries renewed every day. All the staff were extremely pleasant and as helpful as anyone could wish for. They all SMILED and seemed genuinely interested in helping us enjoy our stay. We had 4 nights here and were more than pleased with our choice. My husband celebrated his birthday whilst we were there and when we got in following dinner on the night of his birthday there was a bottle of champagne chilling in our room! I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would not even consider paying an extortionate rate at a "chain" hotel. Contintental Breakfast was served in the Cafe Byron, less than 1 minutes walk around the corner, and here again the staff were pleasant and the surroundings clean and tidy even though the place was busy. We will definitely use this hotel again and recommend to our friends.

I stayed with my wife for two nights in September 2005. It was ideal for our needs. We were onour first visit to Rome and the location was perfect. Close to the main tourist attractions which were so easy to find. The staff were superb. It would have been nice if there was a bar on the premises so we could enjoy a nightcap. That said, there were several ideal places close by - and the price or drink in the room mini-bar was very fair. Belle Suite Rome is certainly top of our list for affordable, clean accommodation on future visits.

Great value for a downtown hotel in Rome. A small and quiet modern hotel, wonderful staff and perfrct amenities. Definately recommended for a trip to Rome where you only plan to sleep at the hotel. The only downsides of this property are that it is on the 3rd floor of a small building ( there is an elevator )and that breakfast is served in a small bar down the street. Although the hotel will arrange for breakfast to be delivered, just ask, as they are as friendly as the staff at the bar, where we stopped in at for our nightly Limoncello nightcap. Walking distance to everything at a reasonable rate.
