This was a great hotel, though we weren't sure what to expect. Paulo was incredibly helpful and approachable. The hotel is very easily accessible from the metro and is really close to attractions and central points of the city - including the Colosseum. It made visiting that site incredibly easy but it also made it easy to navigate our way around the city because some of the main roads through central Rome pass through the Colosseum and Roman Forum sites. The room was basic but very spacious and had a nice view. The hotel is close to a park and some very pretty residential streets. Great stay!

Pablo was waiting for us in front of building even if we didn t tell our arrival time. Then the next morning, we misunderstood about breakfast time, so he brought us around noon to another place with his pocket money. It s also very convenient to walk from Termini train station and explore the city.

Thos place is cheap and cheerful. It was clean, quiet and despite not being in the cleanest road, the location was very convenient for the colusseum and termini station. The owner has great recommendations for bars and restaurants and was very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again.

The location of the place and the small price is what stole me away at booking a double room for early May. What we got was a room inside an apartment with a sealed window and no ventilation, which made sleeping there almost unbearable. (An interesting note: the decoration of the room walls was not finished, and construction materials were stuffed inside the furniture, which I found both disturbing and hilarious.) The front desk at AnA is a virtual thing (basically it's a phone number), not an actual physical place - that's what prevented us from changing the room, as we came in late and tired, and left early in the morning. Public areas in the BnB/apartment are almost non-existent. My advice: do specifically ask for access to fresh air if you plan to stay at Art and Accommodation. Frankly, I would never stay there again.

In general everything was not bad but the thing which one very dissapointed us was breakfast. In our reservation documents was written that breakfast is included but when we arrived we weren't inform about breakfast and other day then we wrote an email asking about breakfast ( where it served or where we should come to get it) we don't get any answer. About the area: location really not far from centre althought looks not safty.

Excellent location (5 minutes walk from Colosseum, 10 from the center), good ratio of price, service, room). Was a bit difficult with the shared bathroom, but it is customary in Rome, at least it was clean. If I wanted to spend more money, and be in the center, would not go here. But with the money we gave was a very good choice, sourly at the Hilton will be better!

I'll never go back to Art Inn Accommodation! Even a dorm would've been at least as good (bad) as Art Inn. The mattress was filty and worn out, the towels were not clean, there was no air conditioning & the room was not cleaned once during our 5 days stay. There was no toilet/bathroom in the room even though it said in the reservation document that we have a room with bathroom. There was no soap or tissue paper in the bathroom. The staff smoked in the office so there was a stuffy smell everywhere. I really don't recommend Art Inn to anyone!

We only stayed one night and then moved to different hotel as the place smelled like moth-balls when we arrived and the linen and blankets were very budget. The only plus for this accommodation is that it is near to the colloseum, but then again it is also very near Termini station which is a negative.

The wireless was barely usable in our room. The room itself was small, and the bed too. The toilets were often both in use, and one is very small, with no place to lay or hang anything on, and no window. The breakfast offered is really the bare minimum (you get such a breakfast for less than 2 euros in any bar), at 5 minutes of walk from the place. The road was noisy and it was impossible to close the shutters, since they were broken. And the (double) room was so small we couldn't close the window in order to breathe. The staff was present at the "reception" only at random times during the day. I didn't see any trace of this "cleaning service 2 times a day" they mention: our room had certainly not been cleaned in depth since months - though bedclothes and towels were indeed clean. All in all, not unbearable, and prices were very good, but I think taking a look at hostels one can find lower prices and better quality.

3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very clean, inside a top-floor old appartment made up to welcome people like us. Very well located, only 10 min from the Forum and the Coliseum, the tube is a minute away (next to the breakfast place, a little restaurant outside the hotel). Warm welcoming, verey helpful and charming.

The location is very good. Paolo is wonderful host, speaks English very well and explains everything whatever asked. The breakfast in nearby bar is ok. The room has basic furniture. Towels, bedlinen looks a little old, but are clean. There is no soap in bathroom: Rome is not the cleanest city so remember to bring Your own. Also the broken toilet seat is still there :) Wifi was a little weak: maybe it would be better if the router is placed in corridor?

the room was ok, clean and spacious enough. The only one electricity plug is used for the only one light, so you either recharge your telephone or you turn on the light. there was only one window, but no way to open it, and the fan made some annoying noise. the common toilet (one for four room) is clean, the shower is old and may need some more intensive cleaning. The bed was the worst bed i've ever slept in, they really really need to buy a new, decent, mattress!! the guy at the reception is really kind and friendly, which is a big part of the experience, in my opinion. my overall judgement is ok, it's really cheap and you get what you pay for. I think i will go there again, but I'll ask for another room! :)

It was easy to find this hotel, the reception was very nice. Visitors are independent here, so you can walk out and come back whenever you want! Room was quite big, with clean sheets. Just bathroom needs a bit often cleaning. Overall, I recommend this place for short stay in Rome.

The room (no.4 double room with private bathroom) was acceptable: big, clean, large windows, although there was not much fourniture for use. The house is at the top floor, so it was quite enough during the night. BUT!! I really got displeased by the staff. The women who "welcomed" us the first night had a really unplaisant expression on her face, she wasn't happy at all just because we arrived at around 22h. And the other women at the next day, was ALWAYS on phone and SHE DONT SPEAK ENGLISH AT ALL. Finally we could not even leave our baggages during the day we check out (we can certainly not visit roma with the bags)!! Anyway the third day I realized I left a note book and we met another staff (a man) who was really nice and kind.

For the price of 35 Euro per double room we received everything and more than we expected: nice, modest but clean room, shared but nice and clean bathroom, great localization. Perfect for people with little money, who want to spend their time on siteseeing and not sleeping till late in the morning as the place is very noisy then.

Very nice and clean and a very enthusiastic and familiar wellcoming from Paolo and his staff. Explained everything in an easy way!! Some disturbance from the doors and locking up but after a day in Rome it doesn´t matter. You are so tired that everything fits!! This accomodation perhaps don´t fit if You come for zipping champagne in the morning but if You arrive to enjoy and explore Rome it is perfect. Maps and a short guidance provided by Paolo direct on arrival. What more can You expect?? A special notice to the Wi-Fi (wireless network) possibilities. It´s marvelleous. Was able to all the time read the news i Swedish papers and listen to web-radio from Sweden. I travelled with my sister and Brother in law. All were quite enthusiastic!! We loved it and great thanks to Paolo and his personal!! This was may fourth stay in Rome and I surely would like to return to "Art in accomodation".

Although the price was good compared to most places in Rome, the stay was not quite worth it. There was absolutely no hot water. You could also hear everything happening in the hallway, including everytime someone opened their door. The main positive about the place is it was located close to the Termini Station.

The main interest of AIA is the location :close to the Termini station and to Vittorio Emmanuel Metro station. The room was clean and correct but there was no hot water and the elployee would not stop telling there was. Besidesn don't expect to get up late :there is a huge echo and in the early morning the cleaning ladies speak very loud as if there was no one sleeping. We had only three nights there and that was okay for 3 nights but I definitely would not recommend to stay there.

Good value for budget accommodation. Close to Roma Termini. The young guy was very friendly and the welcoming was very good. Quiet area, good beds. Rooms are noisy inside. Showers are bit of a problem : little pressure on the water. In the morning the lady cleaning the rooms is smoking and you can smell it. Breakfast is in a place nearby but croissants and cappucino were not of very good quality. Rome has got better adresses for breakfast...
