I mostly appreciated the professional but also very kind attitude of the owner of the B&B. She was extremely kind and helpful, and everything went very well. The B&B is located in a very nice place, close to the Vatican and it is easy to reach also from the Central Station

we were not prepared that we should share with unknown persons living room and kitchen. Otherwise we could have booked a Hotel. The use of the rooms with other guests should be more explicit written.

As there is a VERY long flight of wide steps on an uphill grade up to the street on which the apartment is situated this apartment would be very difficult for many older or unfit clients to reach on foot with luggage.

An excellent welcome from Liana the owner. She helped us to make reservations for a van for our group (six people) from the airport at midnight for a good price (better than for internet) on a very busy day at the end of the year, and also to get us to the airport at our departure. She was excellent in giving tips for transportation, restaurants and so on. The appartment is very nice, clean and confortable. Plenty of items for breakfast and with a basic kitchen if you want to cook (who wants to cook being at Rome for vacation!!) so we did not use it. The appartment is about three blocks form St Peter square in the Vatican. It includes a short walk down some stairs. On the way to the vatican there are some nice and affordable restaurants, minimarkets, shops. There are two Buses (during the day and night) to go to the main atractions, and the stops is about two blocks from the appartment). Good enough. The closest metro station (Otaviano) is not very close, but the buses should be enough or walking is always a choice. We loved our stay in Rome at Emmy´s Guest house, We definately recommend it, and definately would stay there again. It sort of feels like being at home.

The owner Liana is very helpful and welcoming, The apartment was cleaned daily by Diana, who again was very nice and cheerful. Well located for walking to all the sites (particularly the Vatican) Immediate resturants not to many, but food quite good and not over expensive like the rest of Rome which is now very expensive indeed

Nice location, 5 min walk to St Peters Square. Buses also 5 min walk away. Very clean 2 bedroom "Apartment." Breakfast was "Self Service." Kitchen is available if you wish more elaborate food. Owner gave very enthusiastic welcome, gave us info we needed and then we never saw her again. Street noise was an issue but room was air conditioned so keeping windows closed was some compensation. Nice Balcony off of room provided enjoyable place to sit and relax. Over all a nice experience and we would stay there again.

Stayed at the bedroom with double bed, air conditioner in the room and private bathroom in the room. The appartment has one more bedroom, bathroom and large dining room, well equipped kitchen and nice balcony. Liana, the manager of the property, is very kind and service minded, she met me outside upon my arrival by taxi and in fact helped to negotiate the price with the taxi driver. She used more than an hour of her time to show around the property, adviced on places to visit and other useful info. Vatican is 5 min. walk, bus stop is even closer, subway is 15 min. walk.

The owner Liana is a gracious and helpful woman--the apartment is very attractive, with terrace, excellent kitchen, dining area, well stocked for continental breakfast, comfortable surroundings, easy bus ride to the center, very close to the vatican, shops nearby.

First, the owner, Liana, is a truly gracious and considerate woman, friendly and professional. The apartment is well stocked with the basics for a continental breakfast and the kitchen fully supplied for cooking. The dining area and the terrace are very attractive. I would highly recommend it--the short walk to the bus looking up at the dome of St. Peter's past umbrella pines is pleasant and the bus system in Rome is good--map of bus routes provided. I liked getting into and then back out of the city center. Good gellateria, bar, food and clothing shops and restaurants nearby. When next in Rome and I definitely will stay again.

We traveled by car to Rome. The owner of the appartement guided us by motor scooter from the motorway exit directly to the address, otherwise it would be difficult to find. The very pleasant and kind contact with the owner was first via e-mail afterwards via mobile SMS. The two sleeping rooms are air conditioned with a comfortable over-night adjustment. Walking time to St.Peter is about 10 minutes. A nearby bus line leads in a 10 minutes ride directly to Pza. Venezia, the centre of the City. From there it takes maximum 15 minutes walks to nearly every place of interest. We would stay at EMI's every time in future, passing time at Rome. The owner speaks fluently English and understands German.

This is a little gem of an apartment the photos do not do it justice. the rooms were in excelent order and a good size. The owner was there to greet us and explained everything about the flat and the area which was very nice. Breakfast was laid out for you every day and the apartment cleaned and beds made. They even tidied my sons room which was beyond the requirements.A lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy breakfast. A safe area to be in at night right next to the Vatican. Earjy morning call when the Vatican bells ring at 8 but it gets you up and ready to do your sightseeing.

We had an excellent stay at EMI's guest house. The rooms are spacious and quiet, and much more beautiful then we expected from the pictures we saw here on Venere. There are 2 bedrooms with the bathrooms and shared kitchen and a living room. Everything is spotless clean, the kitchen is fully stocked and it's definitely more than just essentials for holidays. The house is situated in a nice residential area close to Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. The owner met us personally near the doors and was really very helpful about everything during our short trip. I'd be happy to stay again there!

Excellent does not seem good enough to describe our stay, Emi's Guest House was FABULOSO and Liani the owner was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Liani, THANK YOU for a really wonderful stay we will definitely be passing your details on to all our friend's. The house is so beautiful and you were so welcoming especially after such a long day in the heat which was unusually high for time of year 39 celsius! Of all the holiday properties we have rented in Europe over the years and there have been a few, this is by far the best one!!!!! Highly recommended to anyone, location fantastic, house fabulous and Liani, just wonderful Thank You P/S The description and pictures of Emi's Guest House on Website does not do the property justice it was far better then we could have imagined.

I had an enjoyable stay at Emi's Guest House. I visited during the off season, so things were less hectic and I had the apartment to myself. The apartment is a two bedroom unit with a shared kitchen, dining/living room and balcony porch. One bedroom has two twin beds and the other has a double bed. Each room has a private bathroom and its own television set. The owner, Iliana, was very good communicating with me via e-mail and she was extremely helpful. Her son picked me up and took me back to the airport for a very reasonable amount. It was much easier than a taxi or taking the train, then the bus and then walking. Iliana welcomed me to Rome, explained how to get to the bus stop, which way to walk to get to St. Peter's Square, gave me restaurant recommendations and gave me helpful pointers regarding Rome. Your stay includes breakfast, which consisted of cereal, milk, espresso, yogurt, bread and a variety of pastries. The kitchen is fully stocked, so you can go down to the market and pick up food to bring back and cook if you so desire. Being Rome, it's noisy. No fault of the apartment, it's just Rome. You'll hear scooters, ambulances and trucks pretty much all day and night. The windows are double paned, so it's not bad. The walk to St. Peter's Square was less than fifteen minutes, so no need to take a bus or taxi. From there you can hop on the 110 bus and go all around to the tourist spots, or stay in the Vatican and see those sights. Again, very nice apartment and a very enjoyable stay. Thanks Iliana!

The house was really hide from the view in a alley, and is easy to get lost if you do not now the area, even the taxi drivers didnt know the place. After an awfull and long travel by plain I had to search by myself at 12:00am because no one knew the place, and after find it I should look up for a phone at 12:00am with all my bags...because nobody were at the place; after that, I did not realize I could not have visits at my place, so they ask me to pay extra for this and insult my boyfiend. Well beside that, I have to say the owners are kind of nice persons, if you go by their told and untold rules, is a nice place to stay... kind of far from almost everything but the plaza St. Pietro.

One of warmest welcomes I ever had. The owner does nearly every thing for you to be comfortable. Very clean rooms. You can hear the street but for Rome it's not loud. I can recommend it and I would return.
