There was so little information about the accommodation. It was so far to walk and decorated like a child's room. The bathroom was so pokey that the shower's water hit the toilet - a pink plastic seat to it to cope! Small, hot, many mosquitoes. Would definitely not have booked this place if more information/a photo was supplied. So disappointing.

The reception is in the main street which ought to be given as info, because the rooms are far up in the hill and is hard to understand from the map. The reception was a mess and the man had no interest of being to any help when we asked some questions. The boy who took us to the room far away spoke bad English and was rather busy to help some New customers. However the room was nice and ok,apart the far distance to any store for water, breakfast etc. Lajla and daughter Linda from Norway.

very disappointed. no private view, only a shared balcony with heaps of mosquitos. was a single room not apartment. had a shared kitchen which was too dirty to use. was a spare apartment next door with kitchen, lounge and books we could use. no internet at the rooms, only in a public area 10 minutes walk away

Not great ... although served the purpose, even in spite of being WAY overpriced (130 euros); room good location; but no air conditioning/internet/TV. Office very hard to find ... especially with very steep "street".

We were very pleased with our visit. The room was quite a distance from the check in office. It was essentially an attic, but it was quiet with an excellent view. We appreciated Edward, who was a great help in getting us to the room and carrying bags. The parking for guest cars needs to improve.

It's not an hotel, it's more like a landlord renting rooms in Riomaggiore. The 4 bed room is in an excellent position in the city center, 5 mt from the sea with a nice view on a small square. The room is wide but a little dusty, but the bed whites and the bathroom were clean. The room has a large kitchen with dishes, TV not running, no breakfast, no parking (it's normal in Riomaggiore - no one has parking places). I would suggest the room to people who can stand the dust and want to be close to the sea for a fair price (120 Euro for 4 persons).

We were greeted by a very nice lady who took us to our room. The room was a bit small, and we stayed on the top floor.. lots of flights of stairs (but cinque terre expect this). Beautiful view from the roof.

We asked for a triple room and we have had the coiche between two different accomodations. we choosed a mini-apartment with four beds with kitchen corner and private bothroom, on the main street, therefore not so much climbing to do for reaching it. It was clean and even if not particularly new quite confortable. In general we appreciated it quite a lot. they also didn't push us to leave very early, and we could let the luggages in the room during the extraday we stayed in Riomaggiore (very important, seen the difficulties to reach the car, if you have it).

This stay was a major disappointment. The woman who greeted us was pleasant but the man was rude. The room was a dump which made the entire stay an unpleasant experience. We liked the hike along the coast but felt like your website misrepresented the accommodations.

The two apartments were very different and a bit far from each other. It was disappointing that there was not one place to accommodate 4 people, or two doubles, as the triple room was basically a closet with 3 single beds. The double suite was very nice though.

Office is right in the middle of Riomaggiore, then you are taken to your room around the city. We were given a choice of 2 rooms, both up high with nice views of the sea from the common areas. In one we would have shared the bathroom with 2 other rooms (we chose the other with a private bath). Simple, clean, perfectly fine for the one night we were there.

We were very disappointed by our stay. When we arrived we were told we had to pay in cash, which we were unaware of. The wifi is at the office which is at the other end of the center. We were taken to the 6th floor of a building & told we could either have that room or hike outside of the center to see the larger room that you share your bathroom for the same price which was $90USD/night! We thought these were sort of apartments, with a kitchen, but it was a very small room with just a mini-frig. For $90 a night we expected a lot more. They never cleaned the room/changed linens for 4 days. Town house suites is misleading! The shower/tub is very small and it is impossible to take a shower without creating a lake in the bathroom. We were woken up every morning around 7am by the construction directly outside our window. No a/c and only a small fan so you have to keep the windows open to then be woken up by loud construction.

Staff very friendly and easy to work with. You can't stay in Cinque Terra without expecting to climb some stairs! Don't know how others complained about that. Rooms were ideal for a stay in the area. Lots of rooms and welcoming decor.

Really nice room with a new and very clean bathroom. A a wonderful view over the bay and the terasse is useable! But the room is not very high an therefore not recommendable for persons greater then 1m90!

We enjoyed a lot in Riomaggiore. This room was located in an independent house. Actually it was an apartment, with possibility to cook (but everything is quite expensive there). It was clean, but all furnitures and bathroom were quite old and of poor quality. It is located under many trees: fresh but always dark and in shadow, and so with many mosquitos. We choose the most expensive room hoping to have a good see sight by the room, but actually there was not. Anyway, good see sight from the free terrace. Actually we were not disappointed by this place but a little deluse as we expected more.

This is not a hotel or professional vacation suite accomodation! The business has appartments located in different parts of Riomaggiore that he loans out. The "exterior" photos on the web are from different parts of Riomaggiore and have nothing to do with the view from the flat you will get. We needed one double and one triple room. I booked a "deluxe double" and a "triple". The flats were almost identical, so I don't know what a regular "double" would have been, or what I got by paying extra for the "deluxe". There is also no easy way to get your luggage from the car park / parking lot down to the rooms. This is a characteristic of the village, not of the hotel, but the owner / manager was not in the least bit courteous or helpful in suggesting where best to park and how to handle bringing the luggage down to the rooms. The owner / manager was not welcoming (in interactions with us as well as those I witnessed with other guests who were rudely turned down for extra keys while I waited). The "lobby" from which the business is run is untidy, dirty and with a rundown old sofa and a desk with a computer. Old junk (cassette tapes, books) etc. are scattered everywhere. Oil paitings are used as bulletin boards with thumbtacks stuck right through the canvass. The manager has to unplug his phone in order to process the credit cards. This seems like the lowest overhead business one could hope to run! However, he has an effective cleaning service and the rooms were cheap and clean. Probably great for students... We booked at the very last minute, and reserved what was available, and everything worked out okay in the end but this was the worst place we stayed on our 10 day tour of southern France and northern Italy. I would not recommend it.
