My One Hotel Radda - Radda in Chianti

nice hotel for children (big rooms, pool nice) and easy to reach many spots from the hotel (siena, greve, firenze, san gimignano...)

The hotel was empty, we requested an upgrade and received it for free. That was good. Only complaint was we took room service the first day really beacuse they asked and we were the only guests. But we were charged 10 euro for the room service when we did this for the hotels benefit. Overall though staff was very helpful and courteous.

We have got the great room on the last floor with big tarrace. Very modern nice and clean hotel, big private parking, two swimmingpools. It was great to stay there.

large room with all facilities but our TV satellite doesn't work, internet connection in the room as well. Infrastructure is excellent but the maintenance is not efficient. Fine cooking in the restaurant.

We have some problems about reservation, Hotel didn't receive the reservation of 2 rooms even if we have all three reservations confirmed by Venere. So, we have to change the room because they were not available, no more. Fortunately the Hotel applied a discount

Very poor breakfast in comparison to other italien hotels. The hotel refused to turn on the air condition though we had 32°C. Very poor service, unfriendly staff (except one waiter )and defects in the room have not been repaired WE CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Really an excellent building in an excellent area. But the stuff of this hotel is incredible. never again!!!! beside this horrible service: more than half of our group get three days diarrhea from the dinner in the hotel!

The service in the hotel was really bad. None of the persons in the hotel who should have known that i`am there could give the following people any advice that i am there. That is a really poor experience on this level of accomodation.

The accomodotions were excellent for the price paid. The view of Radda was awesome. We highly recomend this property to anyone staying in the area and hope to return ourselves.

The hotel is outside Radda, though that was not much of a problem as we had our car with us. The bar is in the breakfast room, a " clean and well lighted place" and therefore not so much of a pleasant place to be. Radda itself is a dead village on September evenings. The staff recommended nice places to eat out.

Excellent deal

I visited Hotel Radda in early April 2006. I traveled with my family of 4 therefore we booked thier "Exective Suite". The room is "Greate" very large and have 2 bathrooms and big terrace we can see wide tuscany view. Breakfast also very good with many kinds of bread and also fresh Pineapple was delisious !! The price 180euro is very reasonable for its specification. Of course this period was bit earlier than high season, but I checked that the price is 250euro even August. I strongly recommend when you visit south Chianti area.

The photos give the impression that rooms will have an excellent view of the Toscana countryside. In fact most rooms give onto the courtyard. My room (which was booked 4 months in advance) had a view of brick wall. The swimming pool was too cold. The food was mediocre. The previous year I stayed in Radda itself and had an excellent stay. This hotel is not worth the price.

Eccellente! Meraviglioso il panorama che si gusta dalle camere. Un po' isolato, perfetto per una vacanza romantica. Competente e gentile il personale. Unica vera pecca il ristorante: deludente per servizio e qualita' considerate le possibilita' fuori dall'Hotel, soprattutto se si fa mezza pensione e non si ordina alla carta. Ci tornerei.

A first class hotel with lovely views of the surrounding counrtyside. The staff were welcoming and efficient. A memorable holiday.
