Great location, nice staff, except for the a little slow WiFi, this hotel is perfect!

This was my second stay at The Green Garland. The staff is the most attentive and pleasant I've ever encountered. The location of the Inn is perfect for walking around the historic city - close to restaurants, shops, and transportation. The breakfast is lovely - so nice to sit quietly each morning and enjoy the meal while planning my day. I would definitely stay at this quaint bed and breakfast again and would recommend it to my friends. My only sadness with this visit was seeing all the grafitti which had been applied by vandals to the outside of the building, but it is an epidemic across the city. Otherwise, many stars!

Really clean, good breakfast and great location, quite basic accommodation but for our short stay it was perfect.

Such a perfect accommodation if you want to spend some days in Prague. Spacious and cosy rooms as well as a kind and warm atmosphere.

An excellent location. We felt welcomed and well cared for and would thoroughly recommend this small but interesting B & B in the heart of old Prague. We enjoyed the easy proximity to so many of the attractions of the city, which is a delight to visit and walk around.

I did not expect to have to climb 47 steps to the room only to find 5 more IN the room between the door and the bed, and between the bed and the bathroom and/or closet. The "community area" had only a couch and a fridge - no microwave for heating food. Besides that, it was dark and dismal. No wonder no one was ever there. Breakfast is minimal and unremarkable. There is no feeling of caring or service here. It is just tourist digs. It has only its location to keep it going. It does not compare to a different one where I stayed next that cost 2/3 of what Green Garland cost.

The location of the Green Garland cannot be beat. It is an easy walk to Old Town, the astronomical clock, Wenceslaus Square, the Charles Bridge, and the Jewish Quarter. I also walked to the castle (about a 25 minute walk one way). The staff is extremely helpful. They arranged taxi service to and from the train station, and gave me a map and showed me how to get around. The B&B itself was very clean and surprisingly quiet, given its close proximity to the major sites. I travelled as a solo female traveler and felt somewhat vulnerable when first arriving in Prague, having heard stories of pickpockets and tourist scams. I felt completely safe in the area near the B&B, even at night. I was treated like an old friend by the women on staff, who all spoke English fluently. I highly recommend the Green Garland!

Very good situated in die old town, close to the charles-bridge and the townhall, warm welcome, but lot of noise from the steet outside, during most of the night, all three nights, hotel was not responsable for this disturbance, but the sleep is ruined as well

The room has never been cleaned in a week, especially the bathroom. On the other side the staff was so very kind and helpful with us.

I cannot recommend this pension highly enough for the price. The location is perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Town Square, yet down a quiet street (apart from the road repairs going on when we stayed!). The owners are very friendly and helpful too. Breakfast was typical European affair, everything fresh and plentiful. For this price you surely cannot do better in Prague.

The Green Garland was an excellent place for us to stay...The staff was quite friendly and helpful...the location to all sites were within walking distance...The room was very clean...and the sitting area was very welcoming...Their breakfast room and breakfast were both good! We would highly recommend the Green Garland!!!

We found the staff very friendly and helpful,the room and hotel itself was very clean. Breakfast kept us going well into the day. The locations excellent,walking distance to all the sights,no need for public transport.Lots of nice restaurants close by.

We had a wonderful, 5-night-long stay here in December. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Would have preferred a single bed in the room. The old building itself is part of the pleasure of staying here.

My husband and I spent one night at The Green Garland. We wanted to experience the Old Town Square but didn't want to pay the high cost of hotels in the area. We chose this hotel because of reviews written by those who had stayed here. We asked to be picked up by a shuttle van and transported to and from the airport. That was worth every penny. We had a different driver each time and both were competent and friendly drivers. The outside of the hotel and entryway are plain. For a little bit of time, we thought that, perhaps, we had made a mistake. But when we were shown to our room, we were more than pleased. It was spacious and very clean with a separate toilet area from the shower. We slept soundly in the quietness. Just one block away, Old Square beckons with St. Charles Bridge, shops, restaurants, people from all over the world, and Prague Castle. If we ever visit Old Town Prague again, The Green Garland will be the place we will choose to stay. I don't think one could ever beat the combination of the price and quality with a friendly staff to meet every need. Because of our early departure to the airport, we were not able to experience the breakfast provided but we were told we could request a 'sack' breakfast if we desired. I peeked into the dining area and it looked very clean and inviting.

a very very good hotel! I would ALWAYS stay here in Prague.. The staff are very helpfull and location can't get any better! Our room was also the BEST!! I just cant express how satisfied I am.
