Corto Old Town Pension - Prague

Room very hot with no ventilation, a bit noisy and without shutter. Staff very helpful, kind and polite

Great location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely stay there again. Could do with more TV channels. A mini fridge might be nice to keep milk in for tea etc. But those are just picky things. We loved it and love Prague. Will recommend the hotel to most people who can manage lots of steps.

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay at Corto. First off, the girls at the front desk were extremely helpful and very friendly. The room was great - very clean and cozy. Our room had comfortable twin beds in an attic room. The only things that could have been better - less stairs and a bigger window in the main area of the room. BUT, very minor in the grand scheme and good exercise! Well worth the reasonable price, especially since it included a free, hour long guided city tour - which I suggest you take when you first arrive to orient yourself - free buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant, free welcome drink and a discount on the hotel restaurant if you choose to use it. Finally, on top of all of this the location really couldn't be much better. It is located only a couple minutes walk from the old square and just outside the door is a nice market and other shops. HIGHLY recommend. If I visit Prague again (I hope to) then I will definitely stay there and will recommend it to others as well. Cheers, RW

I did not have time to look for hotel so in venere.com I sorted 3 star hotel and this Hotel had high enough rating 9.2 so the price was about 65 euro and I booked. The advantage is that the hotel is in the center, 3-4 minutes from central Cathedral, also they give 20% discount for food in their restaurant and one drink free of charge. The big disadvantage is my window was looking to the market, so it was noizy enough in the late everning when i wanted to sleep as machines cleaned the market area, took all rubbish like emty glass bottles and in the morning some noise from people on the market. In the toilet was some smell, but on the second day they sputtered some air spray. TV did not worked I asked why, they adjusted but at the end only 3 channels were working. In general Hotel is ok, but I expected little bit more for 65 euro in Prague, or may be I should have looked forsomething more expensive. Thanks Alexander

Very nice Pension! It's located between Venceslao square and Old Town Square (Clock Tower) in front of Havelska Market. There are two choices of accomodations: near Corto Pizzeria in Havelska 15 rooms only on the first floor (I don't know if I would advice your stay here... Probably the market in front of the building is too noisy for 1st floor rooms..), and if you prefer to stay in a mansard/attic you will be accomodated in Havelska 21 on th fifth floor (WITHOUT LIFT), the rooms in here are so nice! I appreciate a lot the breakfast too, served from 9 am to 11 am in Corto Pizzeria Restaurant in Havelska 15. So what are you waiting? :)

Good hotel, very well located - close to city center & metro. I had a room on the 5th floor (no elevator there) - so if you have heavy bags - it's not the best choice. And my room had a shower outside the room (it wasnt mentioned into hotel desctiption). So, next time if I stay there I double check the floor and where is shower (they have one or two rooms with shower outside the room). Friendly staff, good breakfest, clean room. Good quality/price hotel in the city center.
