A perfect location for staying in Positano. The Villa is half way up the village, near enough the beach to easily all without too much trouble given the steep steps, but high enough up that the views are beautiful. Our balcony was very spacious and it was a real treat to have breakfast served the every morning. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and all spoke good English. The only slight negative I could possibly give would be if you are a very light sleeper, the noise of people coming and going in the corridors could disturb you on the odd occasion slightly, but this is true of any hotel really. I would highly recommend this hotel to all friends and family for a romantic retreat on the Amalfi Coast and Positano is a great place to base yourself.

Very good hotel, great view on Positano and sea. Nice, spacious room with a large terras. Very friendly staff! The only thing we can remark is that breakfast is rather simple and not much variation in it, some fruit e.g. would be nice! Also you should indicate that a parking place for your car costs about 20 euro a day. This is something we didn't know when we checked in. But I would certainly recommend this lovely place...

We really loved Positano and staying at Villa Rosa made it that much more enjoyable. We had breakfast brought to our room every morning at the time we indicated and ate on our terrace overlooking the sea- who could ask for more. Lots of stairs, so not recommended to those with limited mobility- I wouldn't recommend the town for people with limited mobility either- lots of hills/stairs, but they will help you with your bags! It was a great little town with lots of shops and a wonderful beach. We ate at a place called La Tagliata up in the cliffside and this was our favorite meal while in Positano- enjoyed by the locals as well. If you want to stay in town- within walking distance- Max was a good option too.

Close to town, we recommend visiting Il San Pietro Hotel with a drink on its terrace, and a visit on the elevator down to the beach & bar. It is fantastic. The Delikatessen grocery, for its usefulness. The Sirenuse terrace for drinks. We stayed 5 days. [I put "7" for photographs, because the website does not do justice to the size of our room's terrace...it is much larger than it appears on the Villa Rosa website!

This Town House was splendid. Incredible views, Nicola was very accommodating and sweet. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I believe the photos on venere don't really do it justice. We were very surprised with what we got and would definitely go back. Great place.

Villa Rosa was better than we expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful, the view was fantastic and the breakfast on the balcony was a touch of class. We loved every minute and would go back again and again. We cannot praise it highly enough, especially the welcoming staff and the cleanliness. One tip,if you are a first time visitor to Positano and are travelling by bus, get off at the Sponda stop as Villa Rosa is only a ten minute gentle walk down hill. If you get off at Chiesa Nouvu then it is a fair hike and you would need a taxi.
