Inn Sol da Nave - Porto

Just a one day stay in Porto.Some problems with internet access.The staff nice.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn Sol da Nave. We were particulary impressed with the friendliness of John the owner/Manager. He was very helpful and co-operative at all times.

We went to Porto for a short weekend break. I have to say Sol da Nave was an excellent choice! The warmest hospitality I ve ever experienced!! Beatiful, clean rooms, very tasty breakfast, located in the city centre.. its all we wanted. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Initially booked four days, liked the friendly reception and accommodating nature of the staff. Breakfast was good and a nearby restaurant, recommended by the staff, provided reasonably priced good food. We were able to walk into Oporto and get the bus (600) back, the stop was directly outside the hotel. Traffic noise was the only downside but closing the window or having a room on the other side of the house would solve this problem, for us it was not a problem. We were back packing to Santiago but had to return to Oporto for return flight to UK. This accommodation was very good and consequently we booked the same rooms for our return. Very nice and helpfull stuff, hotel is old and therefore can not reach better standard - but enough for requested price

The staff were helpful and freindly. The room was very clean and quiet. Overall this hotel was a great value. I would recommend to my friends.

I stayed at Pension Sol for five nights and had a very good stay here. The room seems to have been renovated sometime recently (parquet floors, good spacious shower). The room was a good size and I found the bed to be very comfortable. An added bonus for me personally was the availability of firm pillows which I find are rare in Europe at times. The staff was very friendly and easy to converse with in English. I stayed in a room facing the street and there is definitely some street noise. Not enough to bother me personally though as I was up early. Breakfast was a satisfying traditional continental breakfast. The Pension is best reached by taking the Metro as it's not in ground zero of the tourist area. You can walk there, but public transportation is much faster. The metro is super easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff super friendly with tipical portugese kindness. very good relationship price/quality 25-30 minutes walking from the center in safe area (5 minutes by bus)

Nice stay and nice people! Really practical for buses and metro.

The breakfast was very good, everything fresh with good coffee to start the day, we were only dissapointed by the to small bed-2 persons tall over 180 cm could hardy sleep on it.

Highly recommended - it's like coming to a family place with a superb breakfast served in a cozy room.

Bien spécifié si vous voulez la chambre qu'il y a sur la photo, car nous en avons eu une 2 fois plus petite. Attention certaines chambres donnent sur la rue qui est assez bruyante.
