Very welcoming staff, very friendly, nice villa, great food. Surroundings are rural but it is not a farmish agriturismo if that is what you are looking for. Otherwise, enjoy the nice villa and especially eat dinner as that was the best we came across!

The hotel and service was very pleasant. The grounds of the hotel, however, are in-progress and this is not reflected in the photos. The evening meals are pleasant, though the house wines are not worthy of the excellent Sicilian wines. It is a good place to stay to visit the Villa Casale, though Piazza Armerina is hardly worth a long stay.

Quality with a capital Q. The evening dinner served there was the best in our ten days in Sicily.

We had the pleasure of meeting the Trigona family. Baroness Trigona, her son and daughter were most charming and explained the history of their family and the villa. The Trigonas are from a very aristocratic family of the region and one of their ancestors was a founder of the Duomo. Next to the Duomo is the Palazzo Trigona, recently restored but unfortunately not yet opened to the public. Baroness Trigona used to spend all her summers at the Villa as well as her children. They decided to transform their house into a agritourism villa to protect it from decay as it had not been lived in for a few years. The furniture and decoration are early 20th Sicilian with mementos from the family and the surrounding areas. The food at dinner was excellent. And the mosaics from the "Casale" at Piazza Armerina are an absolute must. We certainly will return there should we go back to the region.

Accoglienza, cortesia e stile ottimi. La cena non si dimentica per qualità e servizio eccellenti. Si percepisce un'ottima mano nella guida dell'albergo
