While the web site stated there may be a charge for arrival after 9pm the only flight from Dublin got in at 8-30 and we were outside at 9-50pm.It took us over 10 minutes to gain entry. The girl on reception spoke no English and demanded we pay an extra 22 euro as we were late. The room was dark and dreary. The breakfast was two types of cake only. I telephoned the B&B on 11th Oct,as they spoke no English I rang Venere to let them know we would not arrive till late Venere informed me there may be a charge of 5 or 10 euro but could not give me an exact amount. They did not say it was per person per hour. We were very glad to check out.

I arrived at 10.20pm travelling with my brother who has a disability and was asked for 20euro late arrival fee. I asked if my brother could use the toilet was refused until the 20euro was paid over. The location is beside the train station but the area is not good. The staff were rude.Breakfast is terrible. The 101 bus goes to the train station and there are lots of lovely b/b or hotels to stay on the 101 route. I asked if the payment had been taken from my credit card one member of staff said yes and the following day another member of staff asked for the cash which I paid. When I checked my card the payment had been taken it took them 24 hours to return my money. Regarding the hot tub this is located in the breakfast room. I dont know how this works and didnt ask.We were allowed leave our bags in the hotel free of charge. When we returned I asked for the toilet and was told no we could not use the room again and obviously they have no general toilet. We had a balcony which overlooked the roofs of houses I saw a rat running around outside. Enough said. This is not a suitable place to stay. OK near the railway but the area is a no go area with a lot of beggars hanging out around the general area,DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE THE AREA IS FILTHY. I tried breakfast first morning but after seeing rat I decided just to have coffee which was luke warm. The staff consisted of 3 girls who were more interested in their phones and didnt really take any interst in their work . I cannot reiterate it enough do not stay here.

We stayed only one night at Dimora Annulina. We chose it because we needed to take an early train the next day and wanted somewhere close to the station. We cannot comment on breakfast as we left very early in the morning. Our room was a family room, with a double and single bed, and a small cooking area with a fridge. It was one of the few places we stayed in Sicily that took credit card for payment. The streets around the Dimora are not lovely, but the B&B inside is nice, clean and safe, and the hotel sign is brightly lit on the street at night. It's very handy for bus/train connections. We would not hesitate to stay again if we were staying in Palermo.

Hotel page explicitly says that check in is after 14:00. We tried to leave our luggage at the hotel beforehand but all doors were locked and there was no way to contact the staff. Luckily, train station is close and the service was easily rendered there. We especially ordered this hotel because of the kitchenette option. Upon arrival we were appalled to discover the kitchenette was an extra 50 euros "if we wanted". The room is vintage styled with an uncertain floor that made furniture tremble. Bathroom is dark but adjusted to handicapped (we didn't need it) and as usual, shower temperature varied with overall hotel usage. Breakfast were served usually later than 0800 AM and that's a hindrance especially if you want to travel out of town. Meals included preserved products of sorts and coffee was not an obvious option, especially for non Italian speakers. On the last day of our stay we got only frothed milk and were told "it's OK". We got better meals and service on the train station fast food court. Hotel surroundings are as a whole unpleasant, flooded with emigrants and other dubious characters. Parking is free, if you can find the drivers double parking next to you in the morning.

Very POSITIVE surprising relationship between price and quality ! only one little comment about breakfast time : starting at 8 am ... could be earlier... but perfection is only for God....

My interaction with staff was very good. The room was very well decorated and the breakfast was very good. The principal restriction of this charming B&B is the location: bad and dirty surroundings ( train station region). There is no parking if you travelling by car.If you forget the outside, this is a very good choice.

The rooms are nice and clean, but the hotel is located in a very bad area. Breakfast is poor and low-quality, especially if you think that you are in Sicily, so be sure you won’t taste anything typical!
