Small hotel (converted apartments) in a great location in Naples. The room was quite big, clean, with big bathroom and A/C. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is provided in a nice cafe nearby - you get a choice of coffee and a pastry. Would recommend this place!

Good clean hotel. Very well organized. Breakfast is small: coffee+croissant. Second floor with no elevator.

Though clean and spacious, with a good breakfast solution, I was disappointed. This "hotel" is more like a set of 5 or 6 serviced bedsits. It is on the 2nd floor of an apartment block where other floors are privately occupied. Reception was manned sporadically from 8am until mid-afternoon only. Access from the street was through a door which guests had to unlock for themselves. The key required a lot of wiggling & a certain "knack" in order to work (I was not alone in finding this the case - I met 2 other guests on different occasions also struggling and failing). I asked staff for a different key & was told "you just have to try". I said I am afraid I will be stuck on the street late at night. Staff did not seem to care, I was told "that is how it is". The area is attractive but beggars hung around the 2 nearby churches, it was not good to be unsure whether or not we would get in when we went out. Also, the safe did not work, & again, no alternative was available. "That is how it is" was the staff attitude. I would NOT stay here again, and would NOT recommend this "hotel" to anyone. Yes, it is cheap, but not cheap enough to justify these shortfallings.

Great place, nice and super big room, clean, very good located just 5 min from Sansevero. Breakfast in a good caffe in a terrace. The only thing was the noise during the Saturday night, anyway wasn't that long. I ll come back here and I recommend it.

First class small hotel with only ten rooms but note, on second and third floor of a block without a lift. (Problems as area equivalent to Grade I listed). Superb position with lots of nice bars and a good pizza restaurant ("Lombardi" round the corner)but quiet and peaceful.

The room was ok. I didn't like the bathroom because of the shower (problems regulating the temperature of the water, or too hot or very cold). The lcation was great, near to the beautiful S.Chiara, in the center of Naples. Breakfast at Scaturchio very good!

Was a really good centrally located hotel at a very competitive price. The Service was efficient and good and the rooms were nice and clean and safe to leave you goods and not to worry about the safety. Really central location to all the major sites and some good restaurant.

Was confused when I arrived at address of hotel. Small sign outside. Should say walk to 2nd floor. Otherwise, the staff was more than accomodating and the room was very satisfactory.

A little private hotel (very few rooms) in a historic building cross the street from Santa Chiara. Renovated rooms, very friendly and helpful service. Breakfast in a nice little cafe 3 min walk from the hotel on the famous Piazza San-Domenico Maggiore next to the monastery walls where passed his youth Giordano Bruno and in front of the house of the palazzo of the famous italian alchemist Raimondo di Sangro San Severo. Perfect location in the heart of the old Napoli.

Excellent hotel. Incredibly well-located, felt like a very safe area, but very very close to all the action of Naples. Very well-priced. Very clean. The breakfast at the caffe is just around the corner and starting the day with a sfogliatella is wonderful. Thanks for a great stay.

This was the perfect place to start a holiday in Naples. Close to all the sights, safe and quiet and Vincent was very knowledgeable and helpful. I hope to return to Naples and plan to stay here again if possible.

Great location right in the old city center. Very convenient to explore the town. Nice palazzo with light&cosy rooms. It was noisy though, with local youths in the street all night (schools, university and nightclubs are just a block away). There is no elevator to the second floor suite. You get breakfast vouchers for a very nice cafe which makes good pastry, but be prepared for an Italian-style short&hectic breakfast in this popular bar, not some relaxed affair. We have also stayed in a different Hotel in Naples with more amenities but we would rather return to the Santa Chiara Suite because of its location and more "authentic" feel.

We are an English couple around 50 years old. This was an overnight stay only. The room we had was very clean and bright and had plenty of drawers/hanging space. The TV, aircon. and all lights worked. The bathroom was large enough with a good "multi-function" shower and bidet. The surroundings are run down, like most of central Naples and the hotel is easier to find if you approach from above (The two churches are nearby). Breakfast is included at a nearby eatery, but we did not have time to sample it this trip. Alround we thought this hotel a good budget choice and would be happy to return.

My family of 3 stayed for 5 days. The area appeared a little seedy, but turned out to be safe enough. The host was very helpful in providing travel and tourist advice. The B & B is located in an area within walking distance of public transportation, shopping and many historical sites so a car wasn't necessary or desirable. Breakfast is provided at a Patisserie a couple of blocks away from Meuble and you eat outside. I don't know where you would eat if the weather was inclimate. The Meuble is situated in an historic building across from the Santa Chiara monastery and four flights up, so is not for those with lots of luggage or health issues (no elevator). All-in-all a very pleasant stay.

We stay 4 nights in this hotel, it was very well located nearby most of the touristic sites and museums ; also not too far the seafront to go for a boat trip. The breakfast is very nice, you have choice among cakes from the most well known bakery in Naples... The room was neat, clean and got everything you need to spend a nice stay. The personnel is very kind and will help you to find whatever you want. The only negative point is the street is a bit noisy but it's quite everywhere in Naples.

A very welcoming "host", location fantastic right in the centre of Spaccanapoli, the room very clean. Only minus was that you could easily hear your neigbours, the toilet flushing, their coughing etc. The breakfast at the pasticceria was good but didn't satisfy you.

This is a value for money hotel as it is very cheap indeed and is locaed in the historical quarter of Naples. However few points need to be clarified. The hotel is in fact a converted flat on the second floor in a listed historical building. You feel more like renting it rather than being in a hotel. That has its charm and pros and cons. The receptionist cares for 5 rooms altogether so is always available for you but from 8am till 8 pm. He has been very helpful to me indeed. To get in and out of the hotel you have keys for the building entrance, the flat entrance and for your room. Breakfast is out of the building in a bistro round the corner. The service there is not very friendly and you seem more like an intruder than a customer. If you go for breakfast early don't forget to ask the receptionist to give you a voucher. If you forget you have to wait for him afer 8am to get one. The first time I had to go for breakfast I have been told that I have to have my breakfast standing because there is nowhere to sit. I was later shown a small room inside the kitchen with 2 tables. At the same time there have been plenty of tables on the square outside which I realised belong to the bisro later. They just did not want to bother. The hotel rooms are very small but very clean and neat. The bathroom is very good and spacy. The big advantage for me was that there was free internet, not all hotels offer that. My room looked to a rear street (2-3m wide) and every day I could hear the screaming of few ladies arguing in Italian. Sometimes I wondered how they did not get tired at the end. You don't need to bother about this if you stay out until late in the evening though. No luxuries like Iron or laundry service or other extras but you could make yourself a coffee on the coffeemaker in the corridor (remind the receptionist to leave coffee cartridges in the evening before leaving). The rooms are also well air conditioned. I do not recommend this hotel to elderly peopl

Located in historic centre of Naples but in a quite street with beautiful Santa Chiara nearby, walking distance to many points of interest, little hotel but spacious rooms, old building but modern installations (don't judge for the building hall, rooms brand new); breakfast not in the hotel but very close in a nice square by a famous cake shop in Naples; Vincenzo, the manager, most kind and helpful: I think it is a great place to stay in its kind, from where you could easily visit not only Naples but its surroundings (Pompei, Vesubius, Capri, Sorrento...). We spent a great time there, and definitely will repeat. Just one thing: second floor, no lift, it was not a problem for us anyway, but maybe could be for somebody.

Visiting Naples for the first time, we found the hotel to be right in the middle of the old town center and easy to find. Luckily, it's a few metres away from the busy main street, but only a ten minute stroll to Piazza Dante. The hotel people were very friendly and the hospitality superb, plus breakfast at a nearby traditional pasticceria was a delightful experience.

Enzo the owner is very welcoming and takes time to explain you all the information you need. The rooms are very new, well-furnished and clean! The location is very convenient, in the heart of Naples historical center and in front of Santa Chiara basilic! You'll be given a voucher to take your breakfast in the most famous pastry of the town, simply awesome! To make it simple, I hugely recommend this hotel and I'll return there next time I go back in Naples.
