a pleasant stay. Rooms for three people could be a little bigger, but this reasonably well, if we think in terms of price-space. Thanks

Single room was on the top floor. Receptionist described this as 4th floor but in fact it was 8 flights of very narrow progressively more winding stairs. No lift. Dragging suitcase up and later down potentially heart attack inducing. Room very small and didn't realise they made beds that narrow! En-suite was so tiny it was impossible to sit on the loo and close the door! On the plus side the view was fabulous and the parts of the hotel I saw were very clean. Didn't use the dining room as, altho breakfast was included, it was served in the basement and the thought of another flight of stairs was more than my elderly legs could take!

A place to sleep and get cleaned up. If you are looking for more go somewhere else. Smallest room I have ever stayed in.

This was a typical small London hotel, overpriced for the facilities, run by seemingly middle-eastern people who were for the most part surly. If you can get over that, the room and bed were adequate.

The situación of the hotel is excelent. For what i needed the hotel at london that is to rest and have a shower after the whole day visiting the city, is a quiet Room but a little bit small, but cant complain. The only thing that I didnt like was the breakfast, the milk was terrible and the tea , there was just one and for being in uk, was the worst.

Very kind people, very good reception, very good location, very quiet place, very small rooms... The surrouding of the hotel are interesting, and it is linked with train stations and the heart of the city

Smallest room I ever had (just a bed and a sink, virtually no space even for an open suitcase) and the bathroom was private but outside the room (had to way up a stair to access it, and it was incredibly tiny). The hotel is ok clean, but the sheets were stained. The staff was half friendly half nasty. the only very positive thing was the position, two minute walk from Victoria Station, and the area is nice and quiet. Consider this hotel something more than a hostel, no more than that.

The room was very small but clean. The breakfast was quite poor but the location is good (near Victoria station). Maybe a little bit expensive for the service provided.

What would highlight, unfortunately, the hotel is the size of the room (very small) and the breakfast, which is extremely poor, making the stay quite unpleasant. Noteworthy is the location very close to the subway station and Buckingham Palace.

Humble but pleasant hotel. Good location, nice employees. Everything we needed was done, except for the breakfast's ladies, they were too rude.

Excellent small hotel near Victoria station, but still peaceful and quiet. The hotel and the rooms were really clean. The room was quite small, but still enough for three adults. Great english breakfast was served in a restaurant near by. We would definately return to this hotel. Good value for the money.

The situation of the hotel is the better thing. The breakfast is correct. The worse thing is the mattress, is very inconvinient, they should change it.

twin ensuite very small but quite clean, only one towel per person but they change it everyday, very good position (five minutes far from victoria station), poor breakfast, kettle in the room but the coffee/tea quality is quite bad. What's wrong with this hotel is that they asked me to pay as soon as I arrived (without seeing the room), they didn't tell me that they had charged the fist night to my credit card yet so I've paid it two times...be carefull with that!

we've been there 4 days, as a "weekend holiday". The room (207) looked on the terrace above the road (beautiful sight), and was quiet, clean, provided with hairdryer; the towels were changed daily. Breakfast is quite poor, but good, and for the price we paid I think it's well enough! The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Victoria station, perfect for the tube, in a quiet street, with some locals, but not so much "movida", so if you're looking for parties till late night I think you should look somewhere else! I think this is the perfect place for couples/small groups wanting to travel cheap, and visit the city during the day. We are completely satisfied, and for sure our next stay in London will be in this hotel!

Terrific value for central London. within walking distance of many major tourist attractions. Clean rooms and public areas, staff very helpful and friendly. Single room was small but more than met my needs and was great value for money. Would stay again or recommend to a friend.

Definitely not the best place to stay in London. Tiny room and poor service. I had to walk up over 70 steps to get to my room at the top floor, very poor breakfast and you have to pay your stay at arrival. I guess there are better hotels among the dozens from the same streets.

Hemos estado tres noches.

I stayed in a 4 people room, and when I arrived, it actually is a twin room with two double bed. So the area in the room is just too small for 4 person and therefore we feel hot when stay there. But at that time is winter. We didn't open the warm air and we opened the window.

The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean and in good conditions. FOR ME ONE OF THE BEST LOCATIONS because is very near of Victoria Station. THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY BAD because you must go to a coffee shop with a card from the hotel where I had the worst coffee of my life. There wasn´t enough space for everybody and some persons had to wait to have a table. Better go to Sosta cafe (next coach station) where with only 5 pounds you have the best FULL ENGLISH BREAKSFAST and cafe mocha

As expected, the room was small; we took turns standing up and moving (two of us had a room for 3). The bathroom was new and very nice. Our room was near reception and the receptionist was often on the phone, speaking loudly. We asked about storing our bags and the offer was to leave them in the hall; when we pushed for something safer the receptionist was rude and unhelpful. The location was fine; good restaurants/pubs in the area. Breakfast served at a small restaurant around the corner until 9 am. I would not stay there again.

The hotel was excellent for the price, and it has recently been refurbished (I have never had that much space in the shower before). There were 4 of us, and they put us in a room for three, so it was a bit crowded, but the room was still better than in hostels and most budget hotels in London we stayed before. The hotel is also very close to the Victoria station (5 min walk) where you can start your daily adventures. Two downsides (one is also a critism of Venere.com): a) we got 4% discount via Venere, but were still charged the full price at the Hotel. The hotel manager told us to take it up with Venere.com to get the refund for the discount. When contacting Venere.com, we were offered that money as a discount with our next booking - which is fair enough, I guess, but I was still expecting to get the cash back. b) The breakfast was not in the hotel but around the corner in a small cafe. The stress being on small, as people sometimes had to queue outside and wait for 15 minutes to get the table. The hotel manager said that they are still considering whether to keep this option in the future. On a positive note, we were able to choose between a full English breakfast and a continental one - a rare treat in budget hotels. In summary, a great hotel for this price, and I would recommended to any travellers on low budget who are looking for comfort for a low price.

Overall my experience was positive, good price, good location, a short walk from Victoria station. Breakfast was included in the price, however it wasn't served in the hotel. You are given a voucher to take to a nearby cafe.

At first I was disconcerted by being placed on the top floor, but everyone needs the exercise. The owner was courteous and all employees were friendly. The full English breakfast was served around the corner and was excellent. I would certainly return to this hotel.

Overall it´s a good hotel to stay a few days in. In was quite clean and the bathroom was in really good conditions. The size of the room could have been better because we stayed in a triple room that looked like a double one (very narrow and small). The breakfast was served in a near Cafe and was excellent.

Apart from the early closing hour in the reception counter, and the long flight of stairs we have to climb (we were on the top floor), the hotel is excellent in terms of location, price, and services provided. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. We enjoyed our stay in St George Hotel very much.
