Stayed at the Seraphine Gardens for three nights with my twelve year old daughter. I was very happy with the location! Kensington High street has lots of shopping possibilitys as well as dining. It is a very nice, affluent area and it felt very safe to walk around even at night. The hotel is close to the metro station, and it is easy to get around London with the Metro. The hotel was clean, and nice. The rooms were very small, but I knew that from reading other peoples reviews. All in all a great choice for the price, and the location is excellent!

The Seraphine Hotel has a lot going for it. It is ideally located within the city, very close to public transport and shops. The staff of the hotel is pleasantly friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Breakfast is the same standard as with other hotels in London. Within the hotels price category, I would however have expected much higher quality items than just the cheapest type of industrially fabricated jam, cheese, salami and ham. The hotel has apparently been comprehensively renovated recently. The interior designers have done a great job with branding the hotel and making it visually coherent. There are some very good ideas such as setting each of the interiors against a large printed black-and-white photograph from a place in London. Unfortunately, the designers have not been quite as interested in guests' comfort: The mentioned brandmark large image cannot be seen when in bed. It is utterly impossible to shave and to wash one's face in a handwash-only sized basin. The single bed was very narrow indeed (80 cm) and reminded me of experiences of travelling on boats or trains. It seems comical that such a tiny bed should stand freely in the guest room, when this makes an already quite small space additionally crammed - if layed-out more intelligently, there would have been space for a queen-size bed in the room without cramming it. I would definitely not return to book a single room here, but imagine a double might be fine.

I have been travelling to London for the last 5 years at least 2 weeks per time. This is the best hotel within acceptable budget I have ever stayed at. The reception personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is new and all appliences work perfectly. As all London Hotels, the rooms are tiny but as a business traveller, all in neeeded was clean facilities, comfortable bed, good TV and good internet conexion.
