Impossible to sleep without opened windows. At night time hotel stopped heating, so, smell and cold! Hotel dont have Lift, Breakfast room very small. Declared Wifi for 10GBP per day, but network jumping, and on the top level rooms no connection.

The hotel is very close to Victoria station. It''s just 10 min walking. The room was very warm and i had to sleep all the night with the fan open The girl at the reception was so annoyed to answer to my questions and for these reasons i will not come back anymore to melita house.

The cleanliness of the guest house was very good, excellent breakfast. I felt that for £117 they didn't come close to a previous stay in a Premier Inn in London. There was a slight smell of cleaning/detergent fluid in the bedroom and the toilet had the same strong smell. There was a nice group of guests at breakfast.

Nice stay. We were grateful to be able to leave our luggage there after check out. They have a special Lounge including toilet that we could use to repack our things after a shopping spree in Camden Market... :-) Food at breakfast was something like ok. The staff was however quite reserved when serving; a little smile would have been nice to start the day.

This is not a three star hotel. Breakfast wasn't satisfactory, they offer you only english breakfast. If you wish, there is an automatic machine for cappucinos and other drinks. The place was really good to visit London, but next time i'm going to look for another hotel.

I thought it was very expensive for what was on offer. I would rate is as a basic B&B not a 3 star hotel. Room small, no tea making facilities in room. No lobby or lounge areas worth talking about. Breakfast basic. Ive never been in a 3 star hotel or any B&B where cereals are charged as an extra! It was clean and the staff were pleasent and helpful but the pricing model was totally out of line for the type of rooms/facilities on offer.

Really clean, compared to some others I've stayed in london. I booked a twin and we got one double bed and one single bed, both very comfortable. It has proper bathrooms, no metal cabinets. The breakfast is good, the area is very quiet, just ten minutes walk to victoria station, bus 24(which takes you to Trafalgar) stops at the corner and has night service.

The room was filthy. The bed spread was covered with stains and hairs. I called down to the front desk to ask for new bed spread. The replacement was just as dirty. The owner was very gracious, however. Decent location. Close walking distance to Victoria Station. Would not stay here again. Much too expensive for the quality.

Ottima posizione, pulizia e grande cortesia.

This was a basic hotel in a reasonable location in London. The family room was too small to be comfortable otherwise for a two night stay it was adequate. Breakfasts very basic. Be careful if ordering a taxi through this hotel - you may get a private company that charges the earth as we found out!

The staff at the Melita house are very welcoming and friendly , the area is within easy walking distance of Tate Britain and tube stations ect. Room was very dark and pokey and horrible orange drink instead of orange juice at breakfast. I was put in one of the basement room so I expect the upper rooms to be much nicer.

Equipements sommaires. Absence d'eau chaude un matin pendant quelques heures. Apparently Typical small rooms for england. My room was at top of stairs; these are very narrow, so if you are unable to climb many stairs ask for a lower level room. Room had a queen size bed, small desk and closet built in, not much room to walk around. Small bathroom with stand up shower, toilet and sink.Perfect place to stay if you are just looking for a place to stay for a few nights, if you plan on spending any quality time in you room this is not necessarily for you. Staff is excellent always on hand to take care of your needs, and breakfast included in room charge is nice.

We recently stayed at The Melita and were a little disappointed with this hotel. The rooms are extremely tiny and we had nowhere to put our luggage. It didn't help that our room was basically on the roof and the ceiling was lower. We had several large suitcases that barely fit up the 3 flights of stairs!!! (No lift). Overall, we were not impressed with the hotel or the price!
