This room was excellent value for our family of 6. The bathroom is very small, but it is in the suite! The room was noisy, but it is in a very busy part of London- very close to Hyde Park and the Marble Arch tube station. The breakfast was sufficient for our needs.

The location was great, just a few blocks from Marble Arch tube station and Oxford street. And for the price we paid it was just fine - clean rooms although a bit on the small side and a bit dated decor. The only thing I'd comment on as a minus is that there were no place in the room to have a seat, and because you got your breakfastbasket to eat in the room that was a bit tricky. Otherwise we had a great stay, the questions we had for the staff they could answer and they were as helpful as one could ask for.

The Inn was ideally situated in the center of London, the staff was really nice and kind. The quality vs. price, seeing the Inn situation, was more than correct.

The hotel was clean but expensive compared to the quality. But don't forget we were in London, and finally it was not so bad...

There was a cockroach in the room. When we arrived the reserved room for 5 people it was not available and we had to split in a room for 3 and 2 people for one day. This alone would not be a big problem, except that we could not have a room for the whole day since the new room was not ready in time and we had to check out of the rooms they offered for the first night at the normal check-out time. The woman in the reception was extremely unfriendly facing this problem as if it would have been our fault and did nothing to help solving the problem. I will certainly never go back to this hotel even if I need to pay double for another hotel.

What bothered me most about this hotel was the staff which was very rude. As soon as we walked into the reception at the hotel the first thing they asked us for was the full payment without us even having seen the room. This has never happened to me in any other hotel before especially considering we were going to be spending 3 nights in this hotel on the third floor without a lift. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Marble Arch Inn is a very small and dated b&b. We stayed there for 2 nights and I wouldn't want to stay a day longer. Worst: tiny rooms and breakfast in the room only! Best: good location for sightseeing. We opted for the en suite double bedroom, which was tiny- I've read other reviews in the past in many websites and always thought that the authors were exaggerating a bit- believe me, it was TINY- and neither me nor my boyfriend are big people. The bathroom was a miniature- the walls were plastic and reminded me of a chemical toilet/cubicle- the shower was the best- in order to wash myself I had to stand sideways as the position of the fixed shower was such that I could stand facing it... And the icing on the cake was the breakfast- the previous evening we picked our breakfast tray from reception and had to eat it in the tiny bedroom on top of our bags, towels, straighteners- a lot of clutter... I would personally opt for a nicer hotel 2-3 tube stops further north next time (Paddington area) or try something near Euston station.

According to the price it's a good location, but it has very high and narrow stairs, .. you have to carry your luggage ! not easy for elderly customers.

Room to small. Bathroom even smaller. Breakfast all in plastic. To noisy in the morning (around 6:00). No closet for cloths, so you need to leave them in your bags. If you have more them one bag it becomes a problem to walk around the room. Only what is good is location.

The location of the hotel was fine, but the room we were placed in was extremely small - we could hardley get passed each other if we walked around the room. What we received in return for the price was not equitable at all.

The room was clean, the staff was very kind, but I didn't like to stay in the basement. The street outside was very busy with traffic and people. The air in the room was very heavy because of that, and I woke up every morning with headache. Also we sometimes smell gas from a gaspipe outside the window. The breakfast was given to us in a basket every evening and we hade to eat in bed!

Most of the staff were nice, but one did not spread sunshine... No common breakfast-room made our hotell-room very tiny.

Quiet and clean room, small room and bathroom, we know we are in central London. But could the receptionist learn to smile ? Besides, as there is no restaurant, having breakfast sitting on the edge of the bed was quite unpleasant. Next time, and for the price we paid,we'll try another place.

Basic but nice. We expected something like that, booking a budget hotel, so we enjoyed our small room. Location is very good. 5 minuts of walk from piccadilly circus. Only one negative thing: my gilrfriend forgot a earring in silver on the shelf.. Not precious.. but it was a gift.. She never could find it.

The Marble Arch Inn was disgusting. There was a black film on everything in the room. The towels were stained with what appeared to be dried blood. We turned around and left after informing the manager that the internet photos were misleading and a scam. I would never recommend anyone stay there. We are still disputing the one night charge because we did not stay and would not let our dog stay there!!
