We had a room out the front. Belgrave Rd is noisy - buses, sirens and very noisy people on the street in the night! However, the rooms were clean, freshly decorated, staff friendly giving us good tips for eating out and area very convenient. Breakfast is very basic but as we did not opt for something cooked were offered muesli, yogurt etc which was much more to out liking - they made an effort for us which was very pleasing.

2 night stay. Clean room. Small, but expected for the great location. Very helpful staff. -10 Minute walk to Victoria Rail, so easy for Gatwick Express. -Breakfast fine for local standards -No elevator, so if you have issues with stairs recommend calling ahead for a lower level floor. -Despite many comments about the noise, we found it no issue. 3rd floor room facing street and we left window partially open all night. -It would be a bit cramped if travelling with much luggage (the bed is high enough to put suitcases under) or for a long duration. Overall, great price for a great location, and nice staff. We'd stay there again

The room (as with the bathroom) is terribly small. However, if what other reviewers say about London B&Bs in general is true, then its quite normal. We did stay in a bigger (albeit more expensive and no breakfast included) place when we first arrived in London. The men working in the hotel are helpful and pleasant - can't say the same about the lady at the reception though, who was quite harsh to me. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start off the day with for me. Location was decent (we used Pimlico station as we read that Victoria station would be busy) - bus 24 just across the road takes you to the tourist spots. However, stick to one form of transport since there is a daily cap on each mode if you use the Oyster card like we did. We used the airport shuttle booked through the reception as we had quite a few luggages by the time we are done with the shopping and arrived in the airport in good time to do our VAT refund and check-in for our flight. Know that the stairs up to the apartment is no joke if you are carrying too many things.

Great value, clean and friendly. Not luxury, but comfortable and friendly, and ticked all the boxes for a good overnight stay in central London.

From the moment we arrived we were very well looked after. The staff were friendly, cheerful and very helpful. They helped us find a local computer shop to fix our laptop Adequate, very comfortable, clean room. Simple but good English breakfast, a great start to the day. Close by large Sainsbury shop where food and supplies are cheap and plentiful. Lots of good places to eat out close by. Luna Simone was chosen as it is near Victoria station and we were using both Gatwick and Heathrow airports. For Heathrow cheaper to use underground & change lines at Hammersmith;for Gatwick cheaper to use Gatwick Southern train both available from Victoria station. Be sure to get the little leaflet style tube map at Heathrow as it is by far the best (shows the whole line system) and unavailable at many other stations. From this location it is easy to access everything you would want to see in London. Finding friendly staff at a hotel really makes a difference. We would highly recomend it

This was a real big surprise: clean rooms, very good breakfast, nice and kind people... All of these at the right price. Hard to find a better solution for London holiday. And I've been there many times, so I'm sure I'll go there next time in London.

The hotel staff seem to enjoy having guests and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. Hotel well located with restaurants nearby. Location is relaxed and provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of other areas of London. All rooms in London tend to be small but these are adequately fitted out and the fittings are modern and work well. Limited, but adequate, breakfast choice of good quality and well presented.

The location is misleading. If you check the google maps, you see that the hotel is just 800 meters from the Victoria station, however when you arrive to the station with you baggage and you are not familiar with the neighborhood, it will take you at least half an hour to get to the hotel by walking.

Shopping/theatre break with 20 year old daughter. Excellent location and very friendly in hotel. Close to Victoria station, restaurants and shops. 24 bus stops right outside hotel. We were allocated room on 3rd floor. No problem for us, but could be for other visitors as there is no lift.

Hotel was a 10 min walk from Victoria Station. A small clean room, with a nice breakfast included met my needs for a one night stay. Hotel does not have a lift, but other than that I would stay there again.

Overall I liked our time at Luna-Simone. We were there 3 nights and the family was very nice and helpful and the room was comfortable although being street side was a bit noisy. We had earplugs with us so it wasn't really a problem. The only thing I would suggest is a change to the breakfast. They work so hard to cook breakfast but there is no variety. Some fruit, bread, cereals, meats and cheeses would make for a pleasant alternative to the eggs, bacon and beans.

Nice location, nice employees. bus-station in front of the door. hairdryer didn't work, heating was off while I was not in the room. room and bathroom are a bit narrow. i had a double for me alone, so it was ok. for double use very small. i wonder how they get the 4 stars rating.

This is an economy hotel, but clean and well run by a friendly staff. If you like sleeping in, don't get a room in the basement next to the breakfast room as breakfast starts at 7:00 and the noise will wake you up.

I stayed at the hotel from 29th October to the 1st November. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The staff at reception were very helpful and courteous. The rooms even though small were very clean and comfortable. The hotel was situated in a very central location near Victoria station and Pimlico Tube Station. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a short stay in London.

Luna Simone is fairly basic compared to most B&B we stayed in outside of London, but it is in a good location and offered all we needed. Staff were very helpful and offered good advice. I asked for a quiet room and this was taken care of - no noise at all. The area around this hotel is nice with variety of places to eat, laundrette, supermarket etc. Breakfasts are pretty basic, but sufficient - if you want something just ask and the staff - I wanted muesli instead of cornflakes - no problem.

We enjoyed our stay at the Luna-Simone immensely. The staff were friendly, helpful, warm, and sensitive to their guests' desires. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom facilities were excellent The hotel is conveniently located near Victoria Train and Coach stations. There is a local bus stop right in front of the hotel. There are many amenities nearby within easy walking distance . Breakfast is included and served in a pleasant dining room. I would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely return for another stay.

Good clean room and great breakfast at a reasonable price. This was our first visit to London, but I understand that rooms are generally small compared to what we expect in the US. It was small but comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the Pimlico neighborhood near the Tate Museum. Fairly residential area.

The luna-simone is a hotel i would recommend and a hotel i would return to.The hotel is clean the en-suite facilities are excellent with a good shower, the rooms are fairly small but that is something that never really bothers me(who wants to sit in their room all day?) My wife and i have stayed in the pimlico area before, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs and is nice enough for a stroll, day or night, away from the hustle and bustle of victoria and the west end.Transport links are very good as pimlico tube is only about a 5 minute walk away and the number 24 bus which runs to and from the west end stops outside the hotel. This bus service runs 24 hours a day, having used this service in the early hours i can assure you it is safe and the noise outside the hotel is minimal. The only downside to the luna-simone is that breakfast finishes early (8.30!)and there is no lift but for the price you pay this is a small incovenience.

Good location, right on the #24 bus line and about 10 minutes from each of two tube stops. Restaurants and a Sainsbury market not far away. Room quite clean, although a bit cramped. Bathroom was fine, however. Good breakfast, although some variety would have been nice. All in all, a great place for a decent price.

It was a great place for me and my parents to stay for our one night in London. The brothers that ran the place were helpful, warm and very funny. Breakfast was very good, cooked to order. It was a very enjoyable stay and suited us perfectly. I had requested the minimum of stairs (there is no lift) and we were accomadated with only one flight.

The best things about this hotel are: It is very very clean - in particular bathrooms, staff friendly and very helpful, great location within easy walking distance of Victoria train station and underground. Not so good: First stay was in a very small double room - only about 18 inches between the bed and the walls, second stay was in a twin room which was considerably bigger but still small.

Clean hotel in an acceptable, quiet neighborhood, walking distance from Victoria Station and Westminster Abbey zone. A valid option for a quick week-end visit to London. Breakfast at the expected standards for a hotel like this, with the only exception of some rudiness exhibed by the lady who attend the tables every morning (I believe she is from Portugal)

Rooms are small and simple, but equipt with the necessary things and clean. Some noise can be heard from the street and a lot from the neighbouring rooms. The staff is very friendly and correct. The location of the hotel is excellent, near to Greenline terminal (Victoria)to the airport, bus stop just in front of the hotel.

This is exactly what I was looking for - a reasonably priced, pleasant hotel within easy walking distance of Victoria for the Gatwick Express. I stayed in a very grotty one in another part of Belgravia last year and this was a vast improvement. Inevitably the room was noisy as it was overlooking Belgrave Road, but nothing that a good pair of earplugs wouldn't sort out. The room was clean and the shower room seemed to have recently been refurbished to a high standard. I will definitely use this hotel again when flying from Gatwick.

I really enjoyed the stay. The B&B lies only a 5-minute walk from Victoria station in a quiet and nice surrounding. Supermarkets and restaurants/bars are just around the corner. Staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is informal. The only thing to complain about in the room was the extremely hard mattress and the thin walls - I heard my neighbour snore the whole night... All in all, good value for money, I will definitively come back.

An excellent value no-nonsense hotel that is very convenient to most parts of Central London. Staff friendly and efficient. Cooked breakfast a pleasant surprise. Double Glazing very effective at blocking out street noise which could be a problem at the front in the summertime if obliged to open windows. Will certainly use again.
