Room was small, but value for the price was very good. Breakfast was well done and quick. This is 4 minute walking distance to the Underground on the Picadilly line which will give access to the major areas. Especially visit the Victoria & Albert Museum just a couple of stops away.

My children had bought myself and my new Wife tickets for the London Eye and a Thames river cruise as a wedding present. We arranged our own accommodation via the Internet and settled on the Beaver Hotel because of its location - not too close to the heart of the city, and the price was reasonable without being too cheap! When we arrived and parked in the car park, we found several members of stall smoking outside the back door. As we struggled with our cases, no one even acknowledged us or directed us to reception. We checked in and found that there was a charge to use the car park. Although I was aware of this when I booked, I can't understand why it wasn't included in the price. When we saw our room we were both very disappointed! The room looked as if it hadn't been decorated in over 30 years. It was not particularly clean, and there were no tea & coffee making facilities although we later found a leaflet saying there was Complimentary Tea & Coffee. The en-suite shower room was very small and not particularly clean also. There was no toilet roll holder, and the shower tray itself was very slippery! A simple rubber mat would have solved that problem. The towels that were provided were very small and hardly went around your body (and I am very slim!) The bed was not very comfortable, and the bedspread had what looked like semen stains on it! There was just one very old blanket (No Duvet in 2011!) like one you might use for a dog. When we woke in the morning we found that we had been bitten over a dozen times. On closer inspection of the bed we found bed bugs in the corners of the mattress. The breakfast was not good, and falls very short of what you expect for an “English Breakfast” as was advertised. And you had to ask for cereal or you didn’t get it. On leaving the hotel we told the Manager of the bed bugs, and although apologetic – he was not too surprised and offered no refund. All in all, it was not a pleasant stay – especially

(+) Staff at reception is really helpful and nice. Breakfast is good. (-) Shower room is very small. No Internet access in room, only in wired access in lounge area. Overall good value for money. Hotel located in a quiet area, but quite a way to walk when dragging bag through the snow.

Very nice area, comfortable good sized room, helpful staff, good breakfast. The mattress was quite hard, but we didn't mind for one night.

I can say that I enjoyed much for my staying in Beaver Hotel. The room is simple but tidy, with a private bathroom. The reception lady is very nice, she is the most sincere person who I met in London. I believe that I will choose Beaver Hotel again if I go to London in future.

The room was very tiny and the carpet was very dirty, we didn't want to walk around without our shoes on. They even had carpet in the bathroom! It was so filthy we didn't want to take a shower. Thank God we only stayed one night! I know London hotels aren't great anyway, but 90 pounds per night was far too much! I think the room is definately not worth more than 40 pounds.

I was immediately upset at my arrival, as i booked a triple room and they offered to me 1 double and 1 single justufyind this with a misunderstanding and that anyway at the same price i had two rooms with two bathrooms. I dind't comment too much, but i was upset: 1) my children are not too small therefore they could stay alone to sleep, but if they were little what could i do 2) i booked a triple in order to spent all the time together with my children and not shared 3) the day before i called the hotel in order to be sure thjat all was ok with the triple and i got confirmation. So i don't know what happened but anyway this behaviour was not correct and also the managers were not really nice also in the monrning during the breakfast and at the reception. The hotel is nice and clean and also in a good position, but the service is not ok in my opinion-

To be an ENglish hotel it's nice and confortable, the owner were kind and the welcoming was good. Probably just the breakfast should be a little bit better because there was not so manyu different foods to choose. When I go to London I'll try to get a room in this hotel again!

The hotel is a good location, in a nice quiet street, not far from a district with stores and a subway station. The treakfast menu is excellent.

The receptionist was very nice and friendly. He changed my room soon, when I offered him to change the room with bathtub. My new room(double room)was small but there was some space I could open my suitcase. They served good breakfast and I ate too much every morning.(The employees in the restaurant were not friendly though...Because I'm Japanese??) If the room had tea/coffee maker,it was even better. Anyway this hotel was comfortable and reasonable price.

Rooms and beds are small. English Breakfast is good, but we prefer Continental Breakfast: need only some cakes (we choosed toasted bread and jam for... 5 days!). Wonderful area, nearby underground, rich houses and gardens, very safe space even during night. Very nice pubs and restaurants, nearby.

Excellent ratio price/value overall. my room, *30, absolutely unconfortable: ground floor, very very noisy and a bit too dirty: the blanket, the shower. Good location - 5 min to Tube, nice employees, low price. I will surely return, in another room of course.

Though the hotel is not bad at all, we found it too expensive according the quality of the room. For instance, the bathroom, althouhg it was private, was really small (one could almost have a shower). However, it is not a bad place where to stay, only if it were a little less expensive.

The neighborhood is very quiet and the hotel is located near Earl's Court station (very quick to reach from Heatrow) and it's easy to plan London tours. The rooms are typical B&B but overall good for a week of staying. It's near a couple of roads full of pubs and restaurants and also a 24h Tesco store. Price is very good for a well connected location and breakfasts were excellent.

The hotel is situated in the old and beautiful street, Philbeach Gardens, very close to the Earl's Court underground station. My room was very small (single, en suite), but there were two large mirrors, a table, a TV, a comfortable bed. Still the bathroom was so small that you could hardly move a hand without crushing something. But! It's not that important, for cleanliness was all right, and quietness as well. I must admit english breakfast served there is very tasty. Besides, the canteen is open for you until midnight so you can go and have a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea anytime for free. This hotel all in all looks small and cozy, staff friendly, and i don't regret staying there at all. My trip lasted from 13 to 18th of November, 2007. Concerning the price - for 5 nights i payed 300 pounds, i find it not that cheap, but comparing to Enterprise hotel, which is sutuated in a 10 min walk from Beaver hotel and where no breakfast is included, 5 nights would cost me almost 600 pounds. Btw, my brother stayed in Enterprise, i saw the rooms - they are no better than in Beaver! I found it a food choice among cheap hotels.

This property was very reasonably priced and our family liked that it was convenient to the Earl's Court tube station. We also found a 24 hour grocery nearby that we used quite frequently. The downside of staying here was that we had the ground floor room right by the reception. This room's bathroom had a smell of urine and smoke that never went away no matter how much we left the fan on (this being accomplished by keeping the light on), or kept the windows and doors open to ventilate the room better. The occupants in the basement must have smoked non-stop because this smell permeated the room and aggravated our allergies all night. Also, because we were by reception, we were awakened at night when people came in late and also in the morning when suitcases would go bouncing down the stairs and taxi cab doors would slam. Lastly, I would avoid the sausages at breakfast at any cost! I made the mistake of trying one out on our first morning at the Beaver and payed for it with indigestion for half the day! All in all, weigh your expectations carefully with the cost you are willing to pay for a room in London. If you don't mind the same towel for 4 days, the odors associated with a smelly bathroom (mold, urine, and smoke), and the typical London cramped room, then this is the hotel for you.

Honestly, after a long search for an affordable London Hotel offering good quality Beaver Hotel is really the answer. Very friendly service. Well worth the price - at least if booked via Venere. Full English breakfast (but of course not a farmhouse one...). Will be back next year.

The room we had is spacious but cold, toilet is small. There's another room my friend stayed and it has this huge toilet, their room is also cold during our stay. Breakfast was good but it gets crowded and staff gets too busy and kept forgetting to serve our tea. The reception was quite nice to us on the day we checked in... but she turn a bit hostile the next day. And we're not sure the cab cost us 30 pound from the hotel to the Victoria Coach station after we ask the hotel to book it for us. Our trip from Victoria to the hotel was just 10 pound. The driver say he have to pay the hotel for commission... so check how much you need to pay before asking the hotel to book for a cab.
