I stayed in the most expensive room in the hotel at the price of Euro 135. The experience is the worst I have had in 20 years. The hotel does NOT have free parking. There is public pay parking nearby which is difficult to access and was closed off during my visit. The nearest free public parking (not always available)is below the hotel down about 50 steps. I had to park about 1.5km from the hotel and walk back to my car in the rain the following morning. After entering the room one has to walk up a flight of very narrow stairs carrying cases. The bathroom was incredibly small and cramped; the water was barely warm; the shower didn't work and the refuse bin had not been emptied. The opening for the door into the bathroom was less than 1.65 metres high and there was a beam running across the room close to the bed at the same height so I kept banging my head as I moved about. There is no proper place to hang clothes: no full length hanging at all; and one bent wire hanger and a cheap plastic one were all that were provided. The lighting was extremely poor. I couldn't get the door to the room (which exits onto the street!)to lock from the inside but this problem was eventually rectified after the "restaurant manager" who "knew nothing about the rooms" had tried to lock it about 20 times and eventually succeeded. The management response to my raising these issues was uncaring and inept (the only one which they resolved was the emptying of the bin). I asked to speak to the owner but she did not bother to contact me. After insisting I got a 50% reduction on my bill authorised by the restaurant manager (apparently there is no one supervising the operation of the hotel) but still felt I had been robbed. If breakfast was anything to go by, I would not recommend the restaurant. I would advise that this hotel be avoided like the plague.

Charming place, hope to be able to visit it again. Would definitely recommend eating at their restaurant, a delightful experience.
