A warm welcome, good advice about boat and traintrips, parking. The terrace was very nice to sit after a busy day (it's a very touristic and crowded aria) and looking over the sea and harbour. The narrow road is an adventure but with a good driver and car you reach the house! The breakfast was very good. Some little advices: -give some information in the room about the "towels-policy" ("on the ground, we need new ones..."), make a good towelrack for the towels guests can use the other day. -we missed a good shower-curtain or door, the cabin is a litlle small, so it was difficult to keep the bathroom dry.. -give some information in the room about hospital and docter, if you need it, it's very welcome! -the internet was not always working... But, overall: we had a wonderfull stay at Arianna Hill House!

The owners are unbelievably friendly and helpful, I thoroughly recommend following their suggestions - Port Venere was my favourite location of the whole trip, even more than the Cinqueterre. When I got lost with my Navi, the owner happened to drive past and immediately 'rescued' me, leading me to the right place. The room is very clean and tidy and the view is amazing. The only gripe I had was that I couldn't find the number on the hotel when I first got there (go into the first park on the bottom that says bed and breakfast), but it was a very lovely and memorable stay. I'd very much recommend it when visiting the Cinqueterre, the owners will tell you where to park your car for free to take the train.

The owner, Fernando, greeted us upon arrival, after a long drive from Switzerland. He showed us our room and made a great recommendation for dinner. We asked him if there was a store nearby to purchase a bottle of wine. He gave us a bottle of wine and two glasses and said "welcome to Arianna Hill House!" He was quite helpful in planning our daily excursions as well. Only issue, it was a struggle to get our luggage from the parking area to the room.

We had a pleasant stay. Immediate surroundings of the B&B is nice but the road to get there is going through an area which is not so nice. Fernando, the owner, was friendly and make us feel at home.

This Inn is located on top of a hill. The view & location is the best in La Spezia, however needs caution as the road is winding & narrow. The rooms are great & the owner Fernando is extremely knowledgable, fluent in English & a very help in planning trips. We stayed 5 nights & enjoyed our leisurely trips to Cinque Terre & surrounding towns. 2 great restaurants - Acadoleo 600 metres away & one at the bottom of the Hill - i forget the name but its Hoteliara somthing. The owner/ chef is amazing in both places.

A wonderful B+B. Fernando and his team go out of their way to make you feel welcome, even giving us a lift to the station as we did not have a car. He recommended a restaurant very close and we had a perfect evening there, both food and ambience wise. The views, quietness and general area were just great. Do not hesitate to stay if you are thinking about it.

This is a 5 star B&B with thoughtful service, beautiful room and outdoor patio and excellent breakfast. The owners genuinely enjoy meeting and helping their clients. The only negative is the parking....the drive way is very steep and it takes some expertise to park the car.

We had a wonderful 4 days at Arianna Hill House. The view is spectacular and definitely worth the drive. Fernando, Alessia and their family and staff were the perfect hosts. We were in the "Shelley" room and the terrace was wonderful with a great view. The room was well equipped and maintained. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. Every effort was made to make our visit a good one. We would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

Staying at this B & B was a wonderful experience. The hosts were so helpful and gracious. It is up on a hill 2 km from the center of town, but the bus comes up there, there is off street parking for rental cars, taxis are available, or one can hike it.

I spent a very nice week-end in la spezia @ arianna hill house and I would like to strongly recommend this B&B for your staying. The B&B is five minutes up-hill but very near to the city center in a convenient location to spend a quiet holiday away from the noise of the city but also very easy to reach. The staff is really nice and professional. The rooms are very clean and cosy, the breakfast buffet is great!

A wonderful place to stay in La Spezia. Everything is brand new and in super quality. Very nice family owned property. Excellent knowledge and advises what to do and where to eat. Don't miss the restaurant nearby for dinner - it was one of the highlights of your trip! After 10 courses we had to give up because we were so full. And everything for 23 EUR, unbelievable. Hope to be back soon. Highly recommended!

Excellent information about where and what to see. Room very nice with views of La Spezia. Bathroom is very small...but you can manage. Great location to bus, train and places to visit. Breakfat is very good with a lot of choices... except no hot food...which was not a problem for us.

We were extremely impressed with the Arianna bed and breakfast. The location is up on the hill side overlooking La Spezia, with beautiful views of the sea. Unlike many bed and breakfasts, it is a brand new facility and the building is very nice, with large rooms and very nicely appointed. We were extremely impressed with the owner/operator Fernando who was very friendly, and spoke very good English. He provided us with a lot of suggestions for things to see and do in the area. For the money, we felt it was a very good deal in the area, especially if you are interested in a relaxed environment outside the bustle of the city.

This was our 6th times back to Italy and first time in Las Spezia. We adored the town and it proximity to Cinque Terre. We also loved our stay at Arianna Hill House, it was a little further up the hill that expected, but the house itself was fabulous, with the best view of La Spezia. Alessia & Fernando were very lovely people and couldnt do enough for you. Would stay again. Paul & Ileana AUSTRALIA

Superb accommodations, well designed boutique-style hotel, immaculately clean, beautiful views, hospitable hosts, excellent value combined with an abundant breakfast. Train service to Cinque Terra from La Spezia is economical, efficient and runs frequently. Do not drive to CT, since parking is impossible & expensive, the terrain is treacherous as well as time-consuming. Everyone would enjoy their stay at Ariana Hill House - just ensure you have a GPS: a definite marriage saver.

The owners of this hotel were top class hosts, surpassing our expectation for quality service. Fernando was ready to chip in to assist us even though we stayed only one night. Also top class are the quality of the rooms, the communal area and the outdoor terrace. The building is new and its Cinque Terre style stonework is spectacular, especially lit up at night. This is a very nice place to stay, a small house with 5 rooms. It´s a little bit far from the city, but the view is fantastic! There is a bus takes you into the city, and takes you back untill 8 evening, aftrer that you have to walk. It takes 30-40 min, including the 700 stairs up. The houseowners are very friendly, they help you to check out the whole area. The rooms are nice and clean, all of them with view. The breakfirst is good, coffe, milk, juice, bread, croissants, cookis, cheese, ham, müsli. You can sit outside and enjoy the view. If you have a car, there is parking-place. I did have a great time there, and would stay another time again. A big thank you to Arrianna´s mum and dad ;-)
