Very helpful staff. Accommodations were great. Hard to find this B&B, however. A better map would help. Good breakfast. Good suggestions for dinner and catching train to Cinque Terre. Nice view from B&B.

This is a 5 star B&B with thoughtful service, beautiful room and outdoor patio and excellent breakfast. The owners genuinely enjoy meeting and helping their clients. The only negative is the parking....the drive way is very steep and it takes some expertise to park the car.

We had a wonderful 4 days at Arianna Hill House. The view is spectacular and definitely worth the drive. Fernando, Alessia and their family and staff were the perfect hosts. We were in the "Shelley" room and the terrace was wonderful with a great view. The room was well equipped and maintained. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. Every effort was made to make our visit a good one. We would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast.

Staying at this B & B was a wonderful experience. The hosts were so helpful and gracious. It is up on a hill 2 km from the center of town, but the bus comes up there, there is off street parking for rental cars, taxis are available, or one can hike it.

I spent a very nice week-end in la spezia @ arianna hill house and I would like to strongly recommend this B&B for your staying. The B&B is five minutes up-hill but very near to the city center in a convenient location to spend a quiet holiday away from the noise of the city but also very easy to reach. The staff is really nice and professional. The rooms are very clean and cosy, the breakfast buffet is great!

Alessia and Fernando's friendliness make you feel at home there. They also give you useful advice about the area. The views from the hotel are fantastic, you can see La Spezia and the sea far down, beautiful sunsets. Breakfast is good and generous: fresh fruit, fresh bread, hot croissants... They do everything in their hand to help you enjoy your stay there.

A wonderful place to stay in La Spezia. Everything is brand new and in super quality. Very nice family owned property. Excellent knowledge and advises what to do and where to eat. Don't miss the restaurant nearby for dinner - it was one of the highlights of your trip! After 10 courses we had to give up because we were so full. And everything for 23 EUR, unbelievable. Hope to be back soon. Highly recommended!

The road up the hill is steep and tight to drive...be carefull. Once you arrive you will enjoy. Great people, Alessia,Fernando and Arianna (daughter), made us feel at home. Excellent information about where and what to see. Room very nice with views of La Spezia. Bathroom is very small...but you can manage. Great location to bus, train and places to visit. Breakfat is very good with a lot of choices... except no hot food...which was not a problem for us.

Fernando and Alessia make you feel like special guests and provide excellent advice. The view is incredible. Not easy to found because the web location on sites like mappy or google is incorrect. But Fernando came to fetch us when we got lost!

Alessia, Fernando and Arianna all helped to make our stay very enjoyable. The rooms are very well presented and very clean. The owners have paid particular attention to detail, all the wall photo's are beautiful and the furnishings tasteful. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The family welcome you into there environment and make everyone feel special. They also have numerous recommendations on where to visit and what to do and see in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definately return. I recommend it to every one. Old or young.

A hidden jewel in the hills of La Spezia. Fernando and Alessia went beyone their way to attend and make our stay the best possible. You just feel like staying at a friend's house rather than in a B&B. Wonderful recommendations, amazing property and rooms. All details are very well taken care of. You definately need a car to go there but it is worth it! Definately will recommend this place and will come back! Thank you and keep up the good work!

We were extremely impressed with the Arianna bed and breakfast. The location is up on the hill side overlooking La Spezia, with beautiful views of the sea. Unlike many bed and breakfasts, it is a brand new facility and the building is very nice, with large rooms and very nicely appointed. We were extremely impressed with the owner/operator Fernando who was very friendly, and spoke very good English. He provided us with a lot of suggestions for things to see and do in the area. For the money, we felt it was a very good deal in the area, especially if you are interested in a relaxed environment outside the bustle of the city.

This was our 6th times back to Italy and first time in Las Spezia. We adored the town and it proximity to Cinque Terre. We also loved our stay at Arianna Hill House, it was a little further up the hill that expected, but the house itself was fabulous, with the best view of La Spezia. Alessia & Fernando were very lovely people and couldnt do enough for you. Would stay again. Paul & Ileana AUSTRALIA

Very friendly staff. Phenomenal view over La Spezia and the sea. Our room had a terrace where you can relax in a quiet ambiance. Nice breakfast. For dinner: a ten-minutes-walk away try the new opened restaurant "Acadoleo", fantastic cuisine!

Superb accommodations, well designed boutique-style hotel, immaculately clean, beautiful views, hospitable hosts, excellent value combined with an abundant breakfast. Train service to Cinque Terra from La Spezia is economical, efficient and runs frequently. Do not drive to CT, since parking is impossible & expensive, the terrain is treacherous as well as time-consuming. Everyone would enjoy their stay at Ariana Hill House - just ensure you have a GPS: a definite marriage saver.

We stayed at Arianna Hill House for threee nights. What an amazing place. Fernando and Alessia were fabulous hosts and looked after our every need. It is definitely worth the trip up and down the hillside. The million dollar views from the terrace and veranda are worth it. We went to Cinqe Terre from here and it was convenient to the train station. We will definitely return on our next trip to Italy.

The owners of this hotel were top class hosts, surpassing our expectation for quality service. Fernando was ready to chip in to assist us even though we stayed only one night. Also top class are the quality of the rooms, the communal area and the outdoor terrace. The building is new and its Cinque Terre style stonework is spectacular, especially lit up at night. Keep in mind the hotel is in the hills, a 10 minute drive from the city La Spezia-value for money if you have a car.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Arianna Hill House. The rooms are beautiful and the B&B overlooks the water. This is a perfect base for traveling to the nearby Cinque Terre and other coastal cities. The owners couldn't have been more hospitable and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had a car which made our stay even better because we could easily access the B&B. We cannot give a higher recommendation!!!

The facility is brand new. The room is very well equipped an well organized. The view was amazing. We had our breakfast outside with the view on la Spetza bellow and it was gorgeous. The owners were very helpful to help us go to Cinque Terre. That was truly a place that we enjoyed and that we recommend. You will need a car to get around.

This is a very nice place to stay, a small house with 5 rooms. It´s a little bit far from the city, but the view is fantastic! There is a bus takes you into the city, and takes you back untill 8 evening, aftrer that you have to walk. It takes 30-40 min, including the 700 stairs up. The houseowners are very friendly, they help you to check out the whole area. The rooms are nice and clean, all of them with view. The breakfirst is good, coffe, milk, juice, bread, croissants, cookis, cheese, ham, müsli. You can sit outside and enjoy the view. If you have a car, there is parking-place. I did have a great time there, and would stay another time again. A big thank you to Arrianna´s mum and dad ;-)

Really fantastic few days spent at arianna hill. Really modern b&b with a wonderful view of la spezia. Although initially slightly hard to find, the effort is well rewarded. I really can't say enough about the owner and his wife. With their amazing hospitality and terrific local knowledge they guided us through a great couple of days at cinque terra and porta venere.

Great view from Shelley room. Very difficult to find the place, but once found, fairly good access to a free parking area near downtown La Spezia, then walk 3+ blocks to the train. Good free breakfast, very nice owners. The road up is very narrow.

To come there you need a car, because it is on the hill, but it is the way worth (parking is included!)! Big and wonderfull buffet for breakfast!
