The only bad thing there is that some rooms face a very noisy main street - buses, trams, cars-; so, make sure you get one facing the back part which is very quiet

Pro: good value for money, spacious and clean rooms, free wifi, right next Krakow stunningly beautiful city centre. Cons: staff is a bit rude and not very friendly, cultural differences may play a role, but that was way beyond. Rooms are quiet but the floor trembles at every streetcar passage. Airport pickup was a mess, the driver held a "Hotel Polonia" sign instead of "Basztowa Guest Rooms" so it required a while to understand he was our pick-up driver, then we had to walk for a while in the cold outside the airport to reach a house where we found his car, not the best way to begin...

Room quite clean. Hotel near the central station, so there were sounds of the trains, but not tiresome. The position was perfect, few steps and we were to the city centre. Satisfied.

Everything was excellent inside the building and the room. We stayed 4 nights and they did not clean the room even once. But we got new towels and toiletpaper on request. The location was perfect. 5 minutes walk to the Main square. The reception is in the Polonia Hotel next door and there you can have a good breakfast for 25 zloties.

My husband and I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and quiet, facing the backyard. Easy access to the Old Town.

2nd stay at this guest house, the room was fine with an excellent shower and comfortable bed. The room was very stuffy and due to having to keep the windows shut at night to reduce traffic noise, it made for a couple of uncomfortable nights. The staff at the Hotel Polonia, which is the parent hotel of the guest house, were very efficient and helpful,thanks to all of them

The location of the guest house is great. It is connected to the hotel next door. You pick up the key there. There is no public area in the guest house building. Also if you want a room clean daily, then you should stay in the hotel. The guest house does not have any daily room service. The rooms are nice and we were on the street side. We like looking out the window and people watching, but if you do not like bus and tram noise, you need to ask for a different room location. The guest house does not have a lift, so you need to be able to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to the rooms. The gentleman where we checked in at the hotel helped us with our bags when we arrived and showed us to our room. The building felt very secure, with a key required to go through all the doors to the hall with the rooms. There is breakfast you can pay for at the hotel, but we did not try eating there. The park across the street is nice greenery in the middle of a city. It was nice to walk through on our way to the main square. There are many places for coffee and or meals and a small market within a couple of blocks, and the bus and tram outside the door. We liked that it was a reasonable and pleasant place to stay with walking distance to most everything. We would stay there again. When we travel, we are not about fancy rooms and lots of extras. We want a clean, comfortable room to come back to at night to sleep. The room also had a nice bathroom and coat rack for your coats etc.

Not to people who demand luxury, but the room was comfortable, the room was clean with a good shower and the breakfast was very good.I stayed for 2 nights.A lift would ber useful as I stayed on the 3rd floor, but everything else was fine.

I thought I was in a guest house but it's actually the hotel.it is very convenient for the centre and the station and the shopping centre.
