"Villa Mata" is a family run, traditionally built pension, located at the edge of the picturesque Port of Ios and only 50m from the sandy Yialos beach and 800m from the main village of Ios.

Fully renovated in 2005, the complex is consisting of two separate buildings and is surrounded by a beautiful garden where our guests can relax at the wooden hammock and enjoy their evenings with a BBQ at a wood burning oven or prepare their meal to the communal kitchen provided.

In "Villa Mata" pension every single room combines traditional Aegean architecture and modern facilities. Your staying in our renovated rooms and apartments will be memorable and most enjoyable.

For the comfort of our guests, we provide Fax & Internet services and daily cleaning service, while frequent bus and taxi service will give you easy access to and from the village of Ios.

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, the first two nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50% of all nights will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 20 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".

The owner met us at the port which was very helpful. the hotel is close to the port and the beach and about 15' walking from the night life. it is very quiet, extremely clean place and we had an amazing bbq-night!!! great time, hope to be back next summer!!!

The reviews I read do not give it justice...absolutely had an incredible time there...the rooms were cleaned daily...the service was fantastic, the staff were helpful and very friendly. Great place to stay!!

The hotel was perfect, the owners very helpful, the atmosphere very warm and cozy. It is beautiful, clean, and calm. It is on the beach and it only takes you 5 minutes with the bus to go to the Village during the night. Really perfect !Thanks for everything ! Oh yes... and Lambros gives the best BBQ parties ever!!!!!!!!!

This was the best value for money of the all the hotels we stayed in our holidays in Greece. Lambros was very helpful, polite and friendly! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and tasteful. The garden with the BBQ is just beautiful! We do apreciate very much this hotel.
