Inn The Green House - Huaran

The green house is situated in the middle of the Sacred Valley.
We are only one hour by car from Cusco, 11km from Urubamba and 26 km from Pisac, making it the ideal base. The location of The Green House is the perfect starting point for visiting the Inca ruins and other places of interest such as Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray, Maras, Huchuy Qosco, Urco and Lares to mention but a few.
The Hotel has a huge homely common area with open fireplace, TV room and three of the cutest and friendliest dogs, to make it all a home from home.
The hotel was built with all natural materials from the area such as adobe, wood, stone and mud achieving the perfect harmony with nature.
The abundance of tranquility, the sound of the majestic flowing river, beautiful blooming gardens, open spaces, sitting areas and the grounds surrounded by 360 degrees of breathtaking panoramic views.
Our aim is to provide a friendly and interactive service achieving through the experience and dedication of its owners, who reside in the same grounds. All to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, providing the perfect setting to meet and share your experiences with others.
Huaran is a small agricultural community and the hotel is surrounded by farmer’s fields. It is such a wonderful experience to be able to take the many smaller treks like the nearby waterfall or larger treks to other communities or mountain lakes, taking in all the local activities of the very friendly and helpful community. The buses and local shop are just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Directions:
You have several options to get to our hotel.
From Cusco you can take a taxi to “Puputi paradero de taxis”.
Generaly this taxis leaves to the Sacred Valley when they have four people. Their final stop is Calca bus terminal but from there you can take the next bus towards Urubamba or ask the same taxi to drop you in Huaran for an extra fee.
If you prefer, you can ask at Puputi Paradero for a private taxi all the way to Huaran. This is a one hour ride.
Another choice is to take the bus to the Sacred Valley via Pisac to Urubamba. This is a cheap way to reach us but it is a two hour ride. You ask to get off the bus at ““colegio de Huaran” and our sign is in front on the main road
Private transport can be also arranged through us to collect you from your destination in Cusco or any part of the Sacred Valley.
