Inn Il Rifugio di Ela - Furore

We had a very pleasant time in Il Rifugio di Ela. The staff was very nice and helpful, the surrounding is beautiful and the location is great (we had a car so it's only a quick drive to the Amalfi and the other towns). We had an unfortunate health issue during our stay and they helped us a lot with the language and with handling the situation. The only small problem I could think of is that the wifi didn't work at the rooms, just in the lobby.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful area, driving can be a little difficult because roads are very steep, but a very reasonable price for the area.

This B&B is centrally located between Naples and Sorento which made access to any town east or west easily accessible. Daniella and her family are friendly and knowledgeable about the area and offered excellent suggestion for restaurants. We loved the breakfasts on the terrace overlooking the Med. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed three nights in Il Rifugio di Ela and were very pleased with everything. If there is anything negative to mention it was that there is only one restaurant within walking distance and on one occasion it was closed but Antonio kindly drove us to a restaurant in another town close by.

This was one of our favorite stays in Italy! I would highly recommend it. The rooms were large, very clean and with good air conditioning! The breckfast was very good. And the family who owned it were welcoming and fun! They were willing to converse in English, with some difficulty. The surrounding area was beautiful with good views of the ocean from the villa. The little town Furore, was original with locals and not tourist, which was also fun. We loved swimming in the ocean at Priana, take steps down from Africano Night club and rent chairs at the restaurant closest to the water (5 euro per day) with food available. We stayed two days and wished it was a week. I would recommend eating at the Wine Cafe and Pizzeria next to the villa. I would also recommend parking your car at the villa and taking city buses to visit the area instead of driving the Amalfi Coast. We hope to come back!

This accommodation was immaculately presented; all amenities were in first class condition. The owner and family were excellent hosts and could not have been more helpful, even going out to get travel tickets for us! Their local restaurant recommendations for evening meals were good. The breakfasts, which we took on the facilities' beautiful patio comprised home grown fruits (kiwis, peaches and fruit juice from blood oranges) and included home made flan mmmmm! We enjoyed a super stay and unreservedly recommended this property.
