Fico d'India was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Amalfi coast. It's centrally located on the coast with spectacular views of the cliffs and the sea from the guest rooms and also from the terrace dining room. Pino will drive you to town and the bus and pick you up. He was so sincere and accommodating in every way. He and his staff's entire purpose was to make sure your vacation was "perfect". Breakfast was included, and we ate most dinners here too. The food was delicious and a very good value. My daughter and I enjoyed a full week here and we wish we could have stayed longer. Now, I want to come back with my husband, so he can see how special this place is. It was a pleasure to stay at Fico d'India.

This property is familly owned and operated with a limited number of rooms all immaculate and large with the most beautiful hillside property and views on the Amalfi coast.Plenty of parking on site unlike most places in this area. We drove 3051 km around Italy over a period of 3 1/2 weeks and this was 1 of the 2 most personable locations we stayed at.From the morning and evening conversations with the owner and other guests while enjoying the local dishes on site, to the area itself, this inn deserves the highest rating. We wouldn't recommend for those requiring public transit unless taxi is in the budget.

The hospitality at Fico d'India surpassed all expectations. Pino's care and personal attention to each and everyone of the guests was outstanding. I am very well travelled and have never, ever experienced this level of caring and service. The hotel is small, charming and an oasis from the bustle of the Amalfi coast. As another reviewer stated, dont even think about staying somewhere else.

We stayed in a double room with a great view of the sea. Rooms are nice and modern and very charming. Bed was very comfortable. But, it was Pino, the host and owner, who really made the stay here an incredible experience. He is the most amazing host, doing "over and above" his best to make us feel truly at home. He truly welcomes you like a dear friend or family member. I don't think we will ever experience such caring from any B&B/hotel anywhere else. Also, make sure to eat dinner here as the prices and cooking by Pino's father are excellent. This B&B is a little off the main path, but there is local SITA bus service nearby to Amalfi (15 minutes away) where you can connect to other SITA buses that travel along the Amalfi coast. I highly recommend NOT to attempt to drive the very narrow Amalfi Coast road - leave it to the professionals whether you take a bus, taxi, or chauffeur! When visiting the Amalfi coast, do yourself a favor and experience genuine hospitality at its best at Fico d'India. Thanks Pino for a wonderful time!

Excellent (home made) food. In case of rain the restoration area is limited. During sunny (and not cold)days the food is served in a garden of lemons trees with an astonishing sea view. Nice parking (not really usual in the Amalfi coast)

Staying at Fico d'India was an absolute pleasure. Pino and his family were fantastic hosts, offering home made pastries for breakfast each morning, with freshly squeezed juice and coffee. But the service didn't end there, Pino was always keen to give advise on where to go and the best way to get around. We ate dinner there each night and the food didn't stop coming. It was even our son's birthday while we were there and they surprised him with a cake at dinner to celebrate. The views were beautiful and the bathroom was new with a great spa. We would certainly recommend this hotel to any traveller wishing to see the Amalfi coast without being totally cramed in a tiny overpriced hotel. Fico d'India was spacious, friendly and central to all the towns nearby. Thanks Pino for some great memories.

This place was by far our best stay on our trip. We travelled 1700 miles in 25 days throughout Italy, and our stop in Campania in Furore was only our second, after Rome. That meant we were spoiled from the start. We asked for a room with a balcony and we got that. What an amazing view! We also got the best breakfast of all the stays. Every morning 2 fresh, different pastries, a giant bowl of fresh fruit, it almost didn't fit on the table and freshly squeezed orange juice! Delicious! One night we decided to eat dinner in our room. We planned on ordering pizza for take out. Pino found out and offered to serve us in our room on our balcony from his kitchen. He gave us menus and served us on our balcony! It was absolutely great. He arranged a private tour of the Marisa Cuomo cantina, and suggested great places to visit. Furore is just 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi and it's wonderful. You can enjoy the town without having to deal with all the people all day. It was peaceful and quiet every night even with the hotel full. We were treated like kings on our trip here. Pino and his family couldn't do enough for us. You don't even get service like this at a 4 Star hotel. It really was INCREDIBLE!! A piece of paradise and anyone travelling to the amalfi coast should reserve a room here. You will be very impressed. Fico d' India made our honeymoon.
